Hidden gem laundry mat. Recently moved out and at a place with no w/d in unit. Only one set small in facility, gratefully came from living in homes with w/d for the last two decades of my life, so I was extremely nervous reverting back to this way on my own. Did some Google research and found this, Howe and Hurley always make me feel uncomfortable especially that back corner parking lot where this is located. Coming here Saturday afternoon felt safe. I did one large huge load that fit the 7.50 and they have 8.50 too, lowest old school wash at 3 dollars. They even offer free drying machine too which is such a delight! I've never seen this before. I shouldn't announce this as I like it to be more secretive lol and so owner doesn't change anything up but wow so far so good and this business deserves the business. Not what I remember about laundry mats from when I was a teenager early 2000s. They even have tvs playing for distraction of laundry machines. And they offer laundry service drop offs. Do not wash your clothes here if you want them to be without stains and damage. Yesterday I washed my clothes and after taking out my clothes from the dryer they were stained with grease. One of my last of two pairs of pants I can wear at work, my favorite pair is ruined, now I'm down to one pair. The male working the counter last night said he's too new and doesn't know what to do. Said to come here tomorrow, the women working have been here 20 years and they may be able to help. Showed up today because my pants are ruined and this isn't right. Her response, "It's not our responsibility. It's the law, you are renting the machines and we are not responsible for them while you are using it. If we washed your clothes through the drop off service, it would be our responsibility that they were damaged. It's your duty to check the machines bettor use them." As a matter of fact, I check every single machine I use before every single use. I did not see any reason to not use that machine other than there was one small piece of rotten gum on the edge. And every single dryer in this place has gum in it. I have to pick my battles. I don't care if you believe that is "the law" that is not how you handle customer service. Pathetic business approach if you're going to tell me, "if we did that [stand by their service and issue a refund or pay damages] then everybody would do it." How in the world does an older laundromat get a 5 star review? Service, convenience and value! With bonus entertainment and available snacks. I wanted to do my all my washable rugs and that requires a BIG machine. $7.75 for a six loader with FREE dry. Regular loads: 2.75. Did I mention free dry? A senior gentleman was incredibly helpful as I worked on the lay of the land. My old go-to for big loads had closed and this was my first trip here. I mistakingly tapped my credit card twice, duplicating the charge. but before I could get too flustered about it, he offered to start the next machine. Following the measurements on the liquid detergent bottle over suds the machine, he knew adding fabric softener would fix it. When I started to look peaked, he offered, and brought me, a cup of ice water. The tables were clean, there were chairs to sit in while I folded and a movie playing in the background. Can't ask for too much more from a trip to the laundromat. read more

I used to like this place. I came here because I was waiting on my dryer at home to be repaired. We you wash you can dryer your clothing free or if you want to only dry you automatically have to pay a minimum of $5 no exceptions. You can pay with quarters or credit/debit cards to wash which is convenient, but be very careful, if you use debit or credit and on the machine it will say authorized and the machine will immediately start working. This time around it didn't so I checked my account in which I was charged $9 for a 5 loader washing machine and the price is 6.50 at first the employee wanted me to access my online account in front of her. I got on my online account without her standing over me and it not only showed I was overcharged, but the machine charged me twice. I was asked to run my card in the machine again which I refused. So she ran her laundry card for me per the owners request. If feel that, it best pay with quarters, but even then I feel it would be hard to prove that you paid since the same machine may malfunction. I feel the owner did the right thing, but for a regular employee to ask a customer to access you online bank account in front of them if out of line and intrusive. I stood my ground and didn't access my account in front of her, but I'm sure my bank will rectify the access charges. read more

I was a customer for many years, with the same experiences with one employee at Oasis- who is always rude. I explained to her that there were 3 people in the establishment that were not following their rules- posted on the sign attached to the entry door- stating 'MASKS REQUIRED' to enter. There were several other customers like me, who were following the rules, they too were unnerved by the ones disregarding the rules. Yet the woman that works there does not follow through to maintain compliance. I have been here before when the friendly Hispanic woman ensured that the rules were followed, and she had the entire establishment backing her up with a rude customer! This is how businesses become run down, when there are employees that allow this kind of behavior. As a result, I will not be returning. read more

I called Oasis in the morning around 10am and by 11am they were at my door to pick up my laundry. Said that my clothes would be delivered back the same day. I couldn't find anyone else that had such prompt service! I will update my review when i complete the service...so far I'm impressed Oasis Laundry dropped off my clean, folded clothing in less then 4 hours! I arrived at 8:45pm and was hassled at the door that they close at 10pm and doesn't know why the owner won't change the time because he has to face and turn away the public. I moved here to the Arden area about a year ago and when my washer went out for the time being I found this small laundry mat right around the corner from me. The washers and freedryers work great mom and pop shop feel. I have a 5 year old son getting laundry done and keeping an eye on him at the same time can be hectic, but not here! They have movies playing and that's what I love about it here my son gets excited to do laundry lol not to mention the vending machines are so affordable with a bunch of yummy snacks. Sometimes have popcorn ma by one running with is cool. It can get pretty busy here depending on what time of the day it's is. But overall will spend my money here hopefully renovate and help their business. The laundry assistances can be nice others have been a little rude but still doesn't change my review. read more

I love this laundry mat. The washing machines are super affordable and drying is free. They always have a movie going and snacks. Staff is ALWAYS super nice, they have the most patience and always cleaning. I never see this place lookin crazy. The older gentleman that works there is the sweetest. He has the best costumer service, always walking around seeing if you need anything. If he sees you are going outside for whatever he is always willing to keep your dryers going (only 15 min intervals) if you ask politely. Horrible scammers! Do NOT come here. These people will take your money and tell you there's nothing they can do or even you can do and won't even let me dry or even give me my money back. I only do good business and I sure hope the owners are watching their employees because they might mess around and do this to the WRONG person. My dryer went out so I needed to dry some clothes. I came in and put my quarters in the machine while the "worker" watched means the machine still wouldn't turn on. I politely asked if there was something wrong with the dryer when she told me that I needed to put at least $5 in for it to turn on. She saw I only had 2 pairs of pants and definitely didn't need $5 worth of drying. I then just asked for my quarters back that I put in the machine and the "worker" told me there's no way for me to prove that I put the quarters in even though she just watched me. There were NO signs up stating that nor did she tell me when she watched me. Maybe she needed a couple bucks for lunch? I don't know. All I know is she is going to end up doing this to the wrong individual and needs to stop stealing. The staff was very helpful when explaining how the laundry system there worked and providing details and a helping hand to make sure our wash was a success. I brought in a bunch of blankets to wash, which I couldn't do at my apartment laundry mat so I was in need of a near by laundry mat. This place has amenities available to their customers which will help your experience become even more enjoyable. They constantly have a movie playing on a flat screen and small tube televisions hanging on both sides of the laundry mat. as well as if you come hungry or thirsty they have an available snack bar to help you in that category. All machines are coin operated and they have change machines in the front of the store to help you with that. Every seven washes you get 1.75 off =) and every 10th wash you get a free wash after that. so despite your load consisting your clothes all the way to large blankets they have units to help you complete that wash. If your looking for a place to dry clean also, they offer that service as well. I did not notice the prices for that service, but it is available to you. read more

Here's a question? When you reach the 12th FREE wash, what is that value worth? Ever since we started coming here, my gf and I always use the $7.50 washers. Today I have received the 12th wash marker with using one of the $7.50 washers, should my 12th FREE wash be worth that value because I only received $2.50? With the idea of being a "FREE Wash" shouldn't my 2nd load be FREE and not $2.50? Seems sketch...please get back to me. I just want a justified answer. Very thankful for this laundromat! I had a group of 54 young adults come in on a charter bus and Anna and the owners were so willing to accommodate us. On MLK Day I decided to wash my clothes. As usual I took my clothes to oasis laundry near me as l have always done for a few years. I noticed many washers were OOO (out of order). I wasn't concerned as I have seen that quite often. I took my clothes to the 7 load washer and started putting them into washers, then as I was about to pay I noticed the card reader was broken and I proceeded to look to the right and to the left and found that the others were broken. I asked the attendant she showed me how to "jimmy rig it" I didn't think anything of it and proceeded to put my washing liquid in and lock the door. I attempted several times to lock it and the washer kept indicating to lock door. Then finally the washer indicator said start.Then to my surprise water started pouring out, I thought to myself; should I run and go tell an attendant or hold back the floodgate of water. Finally the attendants came with towels. Then the attendant did something you should never do in customer service: accuse the customer. I didn't defend myself, I just said thank you packed my clothes up and went to Love Laundry. Oasis laundry overall quality as declined over the years. In my opinion I wouldn't recommend for self service laundry. read more

Pros: Nice and helpful staff, movies playing in their entertainment area, a concession stand, a rewards program, multiple size washers, dryers that get your clothes dry and available clean restrooms. Cons: Washers are often times not available due to people leaving their clothes in the machine after they have stopped. I've reported it to the attendants but they said that they can not remove the clothes from the machines. Not enough folding tables. Now don't get me wrong, I love this wash house. I get behind on my laundry. Really, really behind. At that point the very thought of catching up is too much to even contemplate, so I bag it all up, load it in the truck and it's off to Oasis. They know me there, probably as the person with more pet-themed T-shirts than anyone alive. They're always friendly, never daunted by getting a couple hundred pounds of laundry at once. Everything is done in hours, neatly folded and wrapped to stay clean. The only way the service could be better is if they'd come home and put it all away for me. I own a washer and Dryer. But I never use them. I hate doing laundry. So about a year ago I discovered this wonderful thing called drop off service. I gather up all of my dirty laundry. Throw it in a basket, and drive it down to Oasis. They weigh it and take it off my hands. I have all day to do other fun things, then I return in the afternoon. All my clothes a squeaky clean, folded or hanged on a hanger. I pay $1.10 per pound, so my bill is usually around 27 bucks. That 25 pounds of laundry lasts me about 2 weeks, so well worth the price. Take the hassle of laundry out of you schedule, it makes the weekend much more fun. Tip: don't take your towels or blankets here. They weigh to much and will cost you and arm and a leg. We are having our laundry room remodeled and I really didn't want to spend four hours at a laundry mat. So I searched on Yelp and found this company. It is a regular laundry mat but they also offer laundry services. You just take your bags of laundry to the counter and a very cheerful, nice girl asks you if you want, bleach, fabric softener, hangers or if you prefer you laundry folded. They weigh your laundry and tell you how much it's going to cost and you pay when you pick it up. So 16 pounds of laundry was around 20 dollars. The next day my laundry was ready!!! Smelling good, washed, folded and bundled with like items. I could not be happier. I am taking another load to them today! What a great service and I could really get used to this!!! read more

So trying to get a jump on my day I came to the laundry at 6 o'clock a.m. I was greeted by a car posted outside that said their hours start at 6 a.m. parked my car I got to the front door the girl inside just looked at me blankly the door was locked it was 6:15. I love it here!! the staff is great. They have helped me move things when one washer was not working. They have wash cards that gives you a free wash after 12 washes (double loaders count as two). They have lots of washers and dryers, with three sizes of washers. I love the giant loader. I usually use it because I can wash everything for $5.50. They play movies and I love it (so does my 2yr son). One day around Christmas, I was there and I felt like I was in a movie theater. People sat and stood near the TV laughing at Christmas with the Kranks. This is a great place there is one better in the area. read more
