Warning to others. I have had items stolen from my laundry here four times. Based on what happened, I strongly believe the theft is being done by someone who works at this laundromat. When I asked the staff to check the security cameras, they said they are "not allowed" and instead of helping, they treated me very rudely. A business that refuses to check cameras when customers report theft is very concerning. I am sharing this so other people can be careful and avoid losing their belongings like I did. read more

I was so glad to see this location re-opened. From time to time I need a laundromat and to my knowledge this is the only one in Natomas. Very clean facility that was being kept so during my wash. There's a variety of washer sizes. Dryers worked better than I've experienced elsewhere . The option to pay with app via QR codes on the washers was super convenient. I won't ding the business for this, but for safety, the shopping center really should install better lighting throughout the entire parking lot. read more

For a place that just re opened not bad, and since I'm doing my laundry might as well drop a review. Place is clean, washers are pretty new from top load to jumbo machines, same goes with dryers they have small and large ones on site. They have an attendant on standby and a bathroom you can use Biggest concern for me was the safety of the area, usually laundry mats are located in sketchy parts of town and you have to pay extra attention to your surroundings and belongings. But this business is pretty safe. They also offer laundry service and sell laundry items you might need (hangers,bags detergents etc) Overall place was good and I had no issues, will revisit next month and see if they can continue to maintain good standard of service! Sometimes you need a laundromat. Maybe the washer is out or you need to run giant loads. In Natomas, one of the few options is Susie's Washtime on Truxel and San Juan near FoodMaxx. This location has decent hours and is open every day. Parking is decent, although you probably will not get a space right next to the door. Most of the washers at Susie's are larger capacity machines allowing you to run multiple loads at the same time. There are several giant machines where you can really stuff it in to save time as well. The machines run well and are maintained, but there are lingering smells due to the use of scented laundry detergent and softener. These machines do not need much soap, so use the lowest amount to prevent sudsing. The dryers are large and powerful allowing for a faster dry time than many, although make sure to not overload them. All the machines run on quarters, and there are several change machines around accepting up to $20 bills. You will need a lot of cash since it's about $2-3 per wash and $1-2 dry. The overall interior is a little cramped with only a few benches, but there are lots of televisions. You can also walk over to FoodMaxx and other stores during a wash. Overall, Suzie's Washtime is a nice option. The smell of fabric softener is a bit overpowering for me, but I was able to handle many loads at the same time. You can also drop off laundry for washing as well, but there are no dry cleaning services. read more

My washer broke during a cycle and repairs were unable to be scheduled until the following week. I frantically searched for the closest laundromat and ended up at Susie's Washtime. It has been years since I've stepped foot in a laundromat. I was expecting things to be more up to date and just different. Nothing has changed. These machines still take quarters :( I thought for sure there would be a debit card reader or something. Fortunately there is an ATM on sight that charges $3.50 a withdrawal transaction. Of course I get change for a $20 as I have 3 loads of laundry. FYI: Not enough to wash and dry. It sucked having to get sooo many freaking quarters in my pocket. Of course they sold bags to put your quarters in, but that's just stupid. I'm not buying a $3 bag to put quarters in. Be aware that every machine charges a different price. The top loader washers are only $2. I made the mistake of sticking my clothes in a side loader and 3 loads was basically almost $20. The dryers were more consistent with price. Every quarter is about 12 minutes long. The place was clean. The people ranged from crazy to super friendly. The location was totally sketch - I don't recommend coming at night. I'm glad this place was close by, but I just wish there were updates to payment options on their machines. read more

So Susie's is located at the corner of Truxel and San Juan near my apartments which is the main reason I go here. My apartment has laundry facilities but they charge double for the dryers and this pisses me off. Susie's is always clean and the staff are nice although I have never heard one speak. They silently go around and wipe down the machines and just generally take care of the place. The people here are usually nice and I never feel scared even though I go here late at night. Not saying I'd walk around outside in the area at night but inside seems safe enough. The top loaders are nearly always in use so I wish they had more. Dryers are clean and dry fast. I can usually get a full load of towels dry for $.75 which is a bargain! They loose one star because the TV is always set to movies in Spanish and they don't have free Wi-Fi. Over all this is my fav spot to do my least fav chore. read more

Just moved and our new place didnt have a washer/dryer. So I noticed this place was the closest laundromat. The place has tons of washing machines and drying machines. I usually do the old fashion washing machine (white washers) and take one of the bottom dryer that is available (because I'm a shorty). People are mostly nice. I notice to go early on the weekends because it does get crowded during noon time when i had to clean my clothes. Most people take multiple washing machines and dryers. They have a sign that says they have a drop off service that they will clean your clothes for you ($1.25 a pound - i think). I havent used their service yet. You can buy their detergent /softeners / dryer sheets / laundry bags there too. I did buy their small detergent ($3). Foodmaxx (next door) is cheaper. read more

Of course our washing machine decided to conk out so we were forced to go to a laundromat. My hand dandy trust yelp app pointed me here and I haven't looked back. I come here early saturday mornings when people are still thinking about waking up. I get here and there's only a couple of people here before me which is fine since they are using the smaller washers. This leaves me the big ones which helps since I do have 4 boys where one is a football player and has very stinking clothes. I also have a 4 year old that has multiple changes throughout the day because he's wet himself or he's spilled something on his clothes. Either way, the large washers are very helpful. Plus, they do prewash and there's a timer and everything. I love it. I wish I could have one of these at my house. This place is clean every time I come in here. The ladies that are there are usually friendly and they are always cleaning. They are friendly to me as we nod at one another and go on about our business. Some people who wash here aren't always friendly but I stay out of everyone's way. I mind my own business. The ladies deal with what they can and there's a security guy that always comes in and checks on things. There are a couple of coin machines and even an atm for you to get cash to use at the coin machine. You can even have the ladies wash and dry and fold your clothes for you for an extra fee. A appreciate this place so much. I come here because my apartment complex has loads of washrooms but my clothes seem dirtier after washing them there. The ladies here are super clean and helpful. Downside, the machines don't take credit cards, so you have to go to the ATM Inside. They charge 3$ to withdraw cash. Sometimes the ATM is broken, so you may wanna check that before loading all your clothes up and have to leave to get change from the smoke shop nearby. A message to management of this laundromat facility. You need to change your laundromat closing time hours to 9:30pm. It says on the side of the building your open until 11:00pm. I arrived right at 9:30p.m exactly in time to put in my load in. It says last load goes in at 9:30P.M. I was putting in my load at exactly 9:30 P.M on the nose and the worker there wouldn't let me start my laundry!! When it was 9:30 P.M she said we are closed and was very rude. If you're going to close at 9:30 P.M. Close at 9:30 P.M!!! But don't advertise your open until 11:00P.M. The sign says last load goes in at 9:30 PM. Last night, June 30th, 2020 @ 10:30pm, My boyfriend and I go to pick up our laundry and as we pull up we notice the lights are off and the door is locked! This woman REALLY left and went home with our laundry still in the dryer! The door says 11pm is when they close as well as online and on yelp! MIND YOU, every visit this worker has been nothing but rude to us and honestly VERY prejudice. Every single time we come in she either has given dirty looks (how unprofessional, said she cannot give us change for a $10 but gave change literally 5 minutes after to another woman, and makes comments in Spanish that she thought i didn't understand. She's beyond rude and now we have no clothes for work today. As i can see in the other reviews there have been previous comments that are fairly the same and i'm guessing they're directed towards her as all the other employees are so kind! Hopefully the couple that are the owners see who worked this shift as ive given the date and time and take action. Not the first time i've had problems with her might as well get rid of her before she drives away all your customers! (other regular customers i've chatted with in the laundromat have had similar issues!) I am very unpleased and unsatisfied about this laundromat. I had a negative experience tonight October 18 2015. I arrived at 920pm. And rather lady that worked there was very rude. She gave me dirty looks and ignored me when I had a question. Unfortunately my apartment dryer did not dry my daughters clothes so I had to use another dryer. Once the clothes was drying ,Maria Padilla she claims to be, told me that I was no longer able to dry my clothes and that I needed to leave quickly. I reminded her that the sign outside says closing time is at 11pm. She said I was interrupting her plans and that I had to dry before 10pm. I was taken aback about her un professionalism and lack of uncompassion. She has no education and no social skills. If you don't like your job please find another one.
