My first time going to a laundromat as my apartment is taking ages to fix our machines (I'm talking to you Nielsen Property Management ), and it was a smooth and great experience! Lots of washers of varying sizes. I used one washer for my clothes and one for all my bedding. The free dryers are great and quick, they go for 12 minutes so you may need to do two cycles but I appreciate the shorter cycle as it's eco conscious and saves energy! I would never go back to this place. I dropped off a down comforter for them to wash and provided my own brand new bottle of special detergent. The cost of this detergent was $20. I went back the next day to pick up my laundered comforter, assuming the bottle of laundry detergent was in the package, but it was not. I drove all the way back only to find that 3/4 of the brand new bottle of detergent was gone. This wash 2 I have contacted them by phone twice and on their app once to complain and get a refund, but I have had no response from anyone. the place looks nice and it is clean. The machines work well; there are different sizes and you can choose the temperature of the water as well as the cycle. For example, delicate or heavy duty. The machines accept credit cards and ApplePay and the dryers are free, if you use their washers. The customers were kind, considerate, and helpful. Feeling the Love. I went in early as possible. the attendant was kind and pleasant (as always) which is why I absolutely adore this location on THURSDAY. It is a little out of the way (30 Mins). but i've been coming to K street for about 4-5 years so its never too far NMO. Just within the last 3 years I've started attending during particular days when a particular attendant is working. She makes the environment open and enjoyable. she knows her customers and always makes time during her tasks to greet and acknowledge them, Often by name. Great laundromat. Good environment. Terrible attendant. On January 25th the attendant gave me the wrong bathroom Code, closed down half the store so we could no longer sit down at 11:10 almost an hour before they close. And cleaned the dust from a dryer directly above our OPEN MACHINE WITH CLOTHES INSIDE. If I didn't step in all of our clothes would have been covered in dust and would need to be washed again. (2/5) Although parking is cramped, there are more than enough machines of all sizes and we have never had to wait! The drying machines are free, but not very efficient. Our clothes are usually damp after just one cycle. (4/5) The vibes at Love Laundry are *chef's kiss*. There is either pop from the 2000's or 2010's playing and the TV's play good shows/movies. It is warm inside and the staff is helpful here. You also get a free tide pod if you check in on Yelp for the first time. We use this Love Laundry a few times a month and it's always a very busy spot. The parking lot is terrible, don't be surprised when you go. There are often issues getting in and out of the very few spaces available. The pricing is fair and the free dry with wash is a great deal, when dryers are available. It's pretty frustrating to have to wait with wet clothes when people are allowed to take over all of the free dryers. There is no regulation. I have never seen someone use the paid dryers so I'm not sure why they don't make all of the dryers free so there are more available to people waiting around. It backs up the whole system. The people who work are nice and keep the place tidy, which is nice when you're sitting around waiting. read more

Very convenient. Summary: Very conveniently located. This place definitely is the definition of modern day laundromat. From the simple touches of modern decorations, white fresh walls and neon lights with the music going, benches to sit and wait for your clothes. And it essential as every has to wash their clothes so definitely a good business choice. Free dry is good method for customer retention. Recommendations: Doing laundry isnt very fun depending on your perspective, assuming its mosts peoples perspective going with ideas that attract modern day regular people is great. My dryer had went out and so me and my husband decided to go WASH AND DRY the rest of our laundry at the k St location. I sent my husband in to go put the wet clothes in the freezer dryer immediately due to the fact they were wet while I was gathering the clothes that needed to be washed. He then comes out back to me saying that he was told he can't use the dryer and that they turned the dryer off because we didn't wash there. I go inside and try to express to the employee that she doesn't know if I was coming to wash or not and that she is assuming im not washing which indeed I was, in the midst of talking to her she says "I don't care" and turns ALL the dryers off completely.Words were exchanged and she calls the police and I wait inside until police come. They DO NOT trespass us and actually were on our side stating that the employee was wrong and tells us to go to the location on S st. We then proceeded to the other location the POLICE OFFICER told us about where we were followed by a different employee at the last location on K st. Words were exchanged between the 2 employees and now we were being watched. They turned off both dryers we were using for our already wet clothes and I never even gotten a chance to start washing. My husband walks over to 1 of the dryers we were using and a big tall white man comes out of nowhere and starts talking to him and I walk over to see what was going on. Apparently it is the GM for both locations, I yet again try to explain the situation including how we were followed and he continuously is talking over me. He tells us to just leave we grab our stuff and are about to walk out but we have to walk pass the employee and the GM to leave. As im walking out I ask the employee why did she follow us and my husband is walking towards us and the GM comes out of nowhere again and assaulted me and my husband by pepper spraying us in close range by an industrial fan. Feedback to Management: -Clean and safe location. -Poorly organized drop off cleaning service. -Low Courtesy from Staff The store should open 3 hours early so staff can start washing drop off service clothes. Staff is constantly up and down the aisles with carts, disrupting other customers. The staff also use various washers and dryers, always dodging in and between the path of customers. And... a big AND. The staff never says excuse me. The staff never greets customers. All in all the service is mediocre and the physical comfort is inconvenient and annoying with the staff always moving up and down the aisle--without any courtesy towards customers watching tv or using mobile device. Even fellow customers say excuse me to each other. That's a level of human consideration that the staff do not practice! This can be fixed though: Management. 3 out of 5 stars. read more
