WHY I WENT HERE: - washer at home was out of order and we weren't sure when we were going to have the time to take a look at it to get it fixed THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located in a plaza off Northgate Blvd (closest to W El Camino Ave) - next door to Kiki's Chicken Place; same plaza as 99 Cents Only Store THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - very clean - good amount of washers and dryers in different sizes (quarter operated + QR code on each machine to pay via phone) that have pretty quick wash/dry times (the washers I used were about 30 minute cycles; the dryers I used had way shorter dry times, but I kept inserting quarters to continue dry cycles) - at the front there's a soap (dispenser) center (quarter operated); vending machines (unsure what payments are accepted); rolling carts/baskets at the - tables with chairs in the front, middle, and rear CUSTOMER SERVICE: - heard other customers call the woman I saw who worked there Esperanza; she is super nice, warm, welcoming, and has pleasant small talk with everyone she passes by or who approaches her read more

Just goes to show how some people gladly take advantage of others misfortune that occurs because of their machine. I do not like anyone touching my laundry even if it's a staff working there. They have a policy that you stay with your laundry while it's being washed but it is hot as hell inside the laundromat. I left to get a drink from Dutch bros down the street came back and my laundry was in a basket. The lady who works there told me a customer wanted to use the washer so she had to take my clothes out. They don't want the customer to be upset if they have to wait. But I'm also a customer and it upsets me that someone touched my stuff without my permission. I called to speak to a manager and the manager told me to just speak to an attendant next time to work something out or pay $5 for a transfer fee, they can put it in the dryer after it's washed. So I'm in the wrong because another customer doesn't know how to wait a few mins or doesn't know how to use a different washer?? C'mon now. Re: To Manager's comments The point is I wasn't gone for that long for someone to just take my laundry out of the washer without my permission. The other customers can wait! I don't care how busy it is I waited for a washer before or use the next available washer, or I come back a different day/time. Why didn't one of your staffs offer the other customer a drop and go service if they're so impatient? But turn around and be so quick to tell me I can pay for a $5 transfer fee. It was my first time to go there and I was having problems with the washer because the coins weren't getting registered so I called for help and the lady arrived right away and helped me insert the coins in the washer. There were a lot of machines of different sizes. It seems a popular place because there were a lot of people there. The machines that I used, both the washer and the dryers all worked. read more

Stopped in really briefly just to do a couple of loads on a Saturday and the laundromat was very clean. The ladies working there were also very nice. There's also a few other places nearby to stop by if you don't want to wait while your clothes wash. Also a Kiki's right next door which was really tempting lol. read more

I have mixed feelings about posting this review. On one hand, credit should be given when businesses are amazing. On the other hand, if I post a glowing review, I risk the customer base blowing up and it becoming crowded or worn down. And going to the laundromat will be part of my routine for a bit, so it matters. So in order for you to read my review, you have to promise that you will keep this place a secret. Ok?! Ok, now that you've pinky swore, read on leprechaun. Lola's is new, opened August 2016 [edit, I think Esperanza misspoke, I think it opened in 2013 according to reviews but it looks new!]. I met Esperanza, tonight's attendant. She was a nice person and cleaned machines the entire time. It shows in the pride of ownership that this is what the owners want and the employees "drink the water." And get this, ZERO slabs of gum in the dryers I used! The washing machine rates are reasonable. The dryers work well and are priced well. I dried my clothes on medium, my blankets on high, and they were done fast and smelled & looked GREAT. The folding counters are as clean as can be. You'll find some dust on the counters because of the fans, but that's ok, just wipe it off. The stools are super intelligent - metal. No nasty cloth or cushions. There's a restroom for customers but I "went before leaving home" so I can't rate it. But other reviews say it's clean & nice and judging by the rest of the place, that's probably accurate. After some real drama about my laundry situation, I am grateful for finding this gem. P.s. Oasis, I'm glad we broke up. I didn't see it at the time, but now I found someone better (Lola's) and I'm moving on! read more

Clean place for a public laundromat. The ladies are nice and you can use an app for the machines. Not dealing with quarters and having large and reliable machines is great when you have to do laundry weekly. There are plenty of carts and long tables. Went in there the past two days and have seen the owners working their business. They are washing, folding, cleaning and repairing. It's kept up really well and they have on-site staff keeping up with the place. Bathrooms are super clean. I had been driving to love laundry because of their upkeep but I must say this place is comparable but better with their small business feel. read more

-Lola's Laundry is SPOTLESS! The washers and dryers don't have a speck of dried soap or lint caked in them. The coin machine worked perfectly. The bathroom was manned by an attendant and it was super clean too. There are plenty of rolling laundry baskets and good clean tables to sit at while you are waiting. This place is so clean it's a pleasure and it shows pride of ownership. I thought the machines were fairly priced. I can buy just what I need, unlike my hotel that requires putting a $10 minimum on an app which is guaranteed to leave me with a remainder that I won't use. We were in the area on business and had I planned better I would have taken advantage of the wash and fold service. The next time we are in the area I will definitely return to Lola's. read more

This has to be the nicest laundry mat I ever been to. I normally use the washers/dryers at my apartment complex. Due to an unexpected surprise to see the dryers were down, I had to go else where to dry my clothes. I then remembered Lola's. Place was clean and well organized. Plenty of machines to use. While I don't like to leave my laundry unattended I was only gone for 20 minutes and my stuff was still there. Again. I advise not to do this. I would very much comeback. read more

Cheap, clean and friendly. Not shady, or awkward. Everyone minds their own. But also tends to be vigilante for others and their possessions which makes it close to a "safe space" But nice to chat with the attendant and people sometimes. Overall a mellow place to wash clothes if you don't want to be stuck in your house. read more

Edit: omg on my way out, I noticed they had soaps on the left side..I completely forgot to use detergent today gg. This was my first time using a laundromat, and whew, I survived! Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. If you look high up on the walls, the washers and dryers are labeled with how many Lbs it can handle. I chose the top load washer and the 30lb dryer. Top load washer: $1.75/load I used 2 washers, 3 blankets in each. The cycle took about 25 minutes. At one point, the washer with the thick blanket sounded really angry, but the lady working was very nice about it and made sure everything went well. 30lb dryer: .25 for 7 minutes on high. The time wasn't labeled anywhere I could see so I ended up putting in more change than I wanted to. That's something that should be fixed, or more clearly labeled. -1 star for that. Overall spent $4 to wash 6 blankets, for 2 washers and 1 dryer. It's very affordable and cheaper than the machines I used in an apartment complex. read more

The dryer in my apartment broke & we've been waiting for maintenance to fix it for weeks now. The laundry had PILED up, and I was only able to do small loads at a friends house. I looked at all the local places, and was just not liking what I was seeing. Then.... I stumbled across Lola's Laundry, made a quick call to the owner, who was so helpful! She gave me the rates, and told me about their same day service, etc etc. I dropped off 3 bins of clothing and was told it might take a day or two for turn around... and the next day, right as they opened, all 3 bins were washed and folded! My uniform and my husbands uniform were hung up, and I felt as though I had gone to a professional dry cleaner. Everything was folded so nicely, and we are so thankful for Lola's! The ladies there were SO nice, and you could tell they were hard workers. Thank you so much, we'll be back (even if our dryer is working, hehe). read more

My girlfriend lives close by to this location and I never went to many laundromats growing up but I could by far say this is the #1 spot to get your laundry done. Staff is very friendly and they have different types of machines to use from. I would say if it's just one person and you have to wash/dry a set, id give it $10 max? or $12 in a sense. Not bad if you do laundry once a week, but anyways, love this place and would definitely recommend anyone to come into this establishment to do business. read more

Very disappointed in this place. I arrived there at approximately 8pm. The whole time i was there a Hispanic lady that works there watched my every move as if i was a threat. As i sat and waited for my clothes to finish washing i ate a plate of chicken and rice that i purchased from a teriyaki place right after work. I haven't had time to eat dinner so i ate it there while i washed clothes. As i ate i caught the lady frowning her face at me and my food. How rude of her i thought! She continued to watch me the whole time. I tried to ignore it but couldn't. At around 9:45p she started to tell me that i needed to hurry up because they were gonna close at 10p but i was already done drying and started putting my clothes back in my car. She stood right next to me and began to throw my bag of clothes to the side. I told her not to touch my things. To make things worse i wasnt the only person in there. There were two other Hispanic ladies who finished at the same time as i did and was taking their things back and forth to the car but she said nothing to them. I strongly felt like this was a racial issue, as i am a 27 year old African-American female. I will never again wash at this place. The moment i walked in i felt disrespected and frowned upon and i felt it was unnecessary because i chose to spend my money at this place rather than another laundromat, but was treated like trash. I was nothing but respectful to this lady despite her actions. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone and i would give it a -5 stars if it were possible. read more

multiple of the larger washers kept taking my quarters and not crediting them so i ended up having to do more loads in the smaller washers. dryers do give a decent amount of time for .25 cents but took an hour to dry each small load and when i got home i realized some clothes were damp still. came here because the reviews were so good but after going myself cant say ill wash there again. the place is clean but working machines are a lot more important to me. read more

I would consider myself a first timer so I may have been missing some common things that other people would know when using a coin - op laundry. This is a brand new place so it was not as full as others I have gone to in the area. I would have expected to see a sign in front of the door with open days and hours on it. This place is so new, they do not have one. I walked in just to do drying since my dryer is broken, I wash at home then dry at a coin op laundry. I thought I selected the smaller of the 2 dryers but I was wrong, this site has 3 sizes and I picked the middle one. I only had 2 loads and the dryer I selected could to 5 loads. It cost .25 for 5 mins. The smaller one can do 3 loads. The biggest one did not have any info on it to know how many loads it could do at one time. Also while looking around there are 4 sizes of washer that I could see. 3 of them are front loaders and the last one was a top loader. I also found it strange of no signs explaining the difference costs or load size of the machines. The laundry down the street cost .25 for 7 min dry with their smallest drying. If Lola's is the same cost,for their smaller dryer, I would then come back again. If the other reviewer was correct for free drying if you wash there, then others might like to come by. Please add some signs to help people like me understand your prices and services. read more

Very clean laundromat with a very nice hard working attendant. There are tables with tall chairs so you can sit (in my case do homework) while waiting for the laundry to be done. 2 TVs available. I was semi watching the end of MissCongeniality on one of them. I was grateful to be able to bring my dog with me while I was in there so yay for that. read more

What a wonderful surprise to go to this laundry. I wanted to wash a HUGE cotton comforter and took it in to wash myself. I realized I could just pay to leave it and have it laundered so that is what I did. Adriana, the attendant, was so very nice and helpful. Just a delight. The comforter came back looking perfect and smelled so good. And, it only took 4 hours to get back. The laundry itself is so great. Very new machines including high capacity (bigger than I have ever seen). They have lots of machines and folding tables. It is spotlessly clean. Having an attendant on site is such a plus. And, it felt very "covid safe" meaning everyone had a mask and the laundry is so big it is easy to distance. Thank you to Adriana for the great service. read more
