A man behind came out from behind the counter to help me. He said my plate was very old and obsolete. He came up with the idea to cit off a center bar on the plate and maybe, just maybe it would latch again with it removed. While I waited for him to return another man was assisting my friend and he was just as helpful to her. We thanked him, paid for our purchases and left. My brother had cooked on the grill this summer and it took forever to cook the chicken. I call the hardware store and worked with Frank, who was awesome and understood my request for the grill to be assembled and delivered. Frank delivered the grill to my mother as part of an early Xmas gift and she was very excited to finally have a new grill. I would highly recommend Springhill Hardware over the big box hardware stores.
