I've had an absolutely great couple of experiences at/with Greenleaf Health Care and really can't…read morerecommend them enough to qualifying patients for cannabis authorization, but also to anyone for wonderful holistic treatment! Their website is super easy to navigate and is, in my opinion, pretty ingeniously set up. You can choose from a plethora of different types of appointments: GHC offers cannabis authorizations, of course, but also craniosacral therapy, nutrition consultation, Thai (deep tissue) massage, counseling, and naturopathic healing. Legally, all medical cannabis patients now have to make a follow-up appt after the initial mmj authorization (it's not just a GHC thing), so it's fantastic that you get a choice in terms of what you want your 2nd appt to be! I chose the Thai massage, and OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dr. McDonald's hands are MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!! I NEED to make another Thai massage appt cuz it's life-changing, for real. Just thinking about it now makes me wanna RUN back!! Scheduling appts is *super* easy cuz you can do it super fast online. You can click "Schedule an appointment" or "Schedule now", and it'll take you to their list of types of appointments. You choose the one you want, and it then it shows you their calendar of available appointments, and then you simply click on the date & time that works best for you: Tada! Scheduled!!! (And they'll send e-mail reminders about your appointment also, which I find super helpful.) If you wanna call GHC, don't worry if they don't answer because you CAN (despite what another Yelper wrote) leave a voicemail, and they'll get back to you. But if you're shy or just don't feel like talking at all, you don't have to! You can set up an appointment entirely with/on the computer! Finding the office is a bit tricky if you don't know what to look for. Yep, you've got the address, and you go to Ballard Ave NW (which is a bit hidden as well), but then you're all, "What? Where IS this place?!?" Okay: It's on the left-hand (West) side of the street right next to Rudy's Barbershop (5229 Ballard Ave. NW), but all you see from the outside of the building is a set of steps that leads up to an old wooden door that appears locked. It's not (at least not during office hours). Go in and then up a few more stairs and, at the top of them, take a right, and you see the GHC suite door, which may already be open. Don't worry just cause no one is there to greet you the moment you enter the cozy waiting room; there's tons of clipboards laying about for you to pick one up and start writing down your information, and Dr. McDonald will step out of his office to welcome you in just a minute when he's finished his session assisting his previous patient! Dr. McDonald's just great! He's just so calm and professional and caring. Can't say enough good things about him!!!! (And speaking personally about the deep-tissue massage... Well, his hands are MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!) The ONLY thing that's tricky for me to report on is the fact that the many stairs are not ADA accessible, but GHC does offer home visits (for a fee). Go Greenleaf Health Care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. If you're going to renew your medical marijuana authorization, make sure to bring any of your medical records that pertain to your qualifying disability cause it saves you $20!

RUN!!! They lie and then treat you poorly!…read more I had an iron transfusion early 2019. At that time Greenleaf Healthcare told me my infusion was covered. In fact, I had one prior without issue. And I had several infusions at another doctor in a few months prior to that. I've since found an amazing naturopath that has had no issues with my insurance, BUT she also knows what she's doing. Months after my infusion(during covid) I was contacted by then telling me to pay my bill. Confused, I said they had informed me that my services were covered. They said my insurance covered one and agreed to a second and then changed their minds. How is this my issue? Now, almost two years later, they email again telling me to pay. I explained AGAIN what I reported previously and they sent me a nasty email. They clearly don't know how to run a business and are desperate for cash. Such disgusting display of behavior!

Won't happen again We pulled over and chilled at a park for a bit to come down. Holy crap! The service was great! They took the time to talk through the different stains. This was before I had legal weed in MS so I was not used to a dispensary environment at this point. Today is now the 7th time I have come to the store and paid something other than what was on advertised on the website. That's after they apologized for the first 6 times, and they did it again. They advertised one item at 40% off, so we stocked up. Then the reciept charged me 15% off instead. I went back to the store, where they were giggling at me the entire time, and the dude behind the counter calculated my discount, at 40% off, or -19.20 a piece, for a total of $38 back. Instead, they gave me $24. I counted my money in my car and realized they still owed me money. I went back in, and the dude told me that a) he wasn't even supposed to help me, but did anyway, so I should be grateful for anything i get (wow, thanks) 2) he wouldn't help me because he "can't even with me" 3) that I should never come back 4) then he gaslit me to my face about them giggling at me. Kudos to you for mocking an old man. Great job there. Bottom line: At this point, I am stupid for continuing to return here and give these people a chance. Don't be stupid like me. There are plenty of options nearby. I have never had an experience like this at REEF, or the Bakeree. If Seattle Cannabis Co. advertises a price at the site and the discount seems "too good to be true," then theyre ripping you off. And when they do, don't go to the store for help, because they'll just gasface you and take your money. (*) [edit: a) we've shopped here since my first review, but it's normally my partner that goes b) yes, I did return and shop after my first negative experience because I gave them a substantial benefit of the doubt in spite of my past experience c) clearly I was wrong to do so.]

One I time I was in there? Some lady came in, thinking she was the Queen of France or something? She thought she was entitled to things because she had a medical card. They kept telling her, "it's legal now, you don't need it!" she said "stop arguing with me! I wan to speak to your maanger, this instant!" (she was one of those types) She held up the line for quite sometime making a lot of noise and a lot of no sense. she kept saying, stop arguing with me! and the manager guy goes, "I promise you I'm not." and the lady goes. "see?" at this point the line started to really build up. As she proceeded to lie on the ground and tantrum about how her medical card gives her, basically free. weed. They suggested she make an appointment come back later, so she could have the one on one and all the time she needs? So the people behind her, could be taken care of. She FREAKS! "An appointment!? an appointmen!? you never said that?" and manager guy goes, "I jus-i just did? what?" and she goes "Stop Arguing with me!!" she then stormed out and promised she'd leave a bad review on yelp! i don't know if she ever did or not? but if you read a negative review about this place? well? if you are also a regular here? Then i dont need to tell you that we live in a world now where people just lie, our President lies like his life depends on it? But we all know better? just like we do with this crazy lady.

I asked about getting a…read moremedical card and was given all the things I needed to do - go to a website, pay a fee, have an interview by an MD, follow the instructions, and receive the form from them giving me authorization. And after I received the form, I was told at Higher Leaf, to just bring it in Monday, Wednesday, or Friday 12 to 3. So getting the form worked pretty well, but then when I brought it in to Higher Leaf at 12:00 am on a Monday, they said I needed an appointment. I said " they didn't tell me that" and that I was just to bring the form in M-W-F 12 to 3. They wanted to argue and argue, even the manager just wants to argue and argue and do everything they can to be absolutely unhelpful without giving any suggestions. Horrible customer service. Don't go to this place because if they can't get the Medical card process right, they surely can't get being a reliable supplier right either. I'm convinced that a pretty woman would have gotten in-like-Flint. Avoid Higher Leaf in Kirkland - horrible horrible customer service.

If you guys are going to close early, great good for you, just change your hours so I don't have to waste my time driving here when I could have took my business else where. The principal that matters, I don't care when you close, just be accurate and accountable. Being a clinical researcher by…read moreprofession, I felt compelled to find out everything I need to know in order to make an informed decision on a legitimate and professional clinic to patron. Scheduling the appointment Easy to do with a few clicks of the mouse. The only complaint I would have is that it's not mobile compatible. Other than that, once you've made your appointment online via computer, you will get a text confirming your appointment and a phone call from a rep. Kind of redundant but gives u opportunities to ask questions. Finding the location There are two. I went to the Westlake office. Easy to find the building. The office is located downstairs in Dope Magazine's office. It's kind of confusing, but no biggie; I opened the door and confirmed the location. It's not that difficult to do. So no complaints here. You can also find an entrance to the immediate right of the restaurant. There are stairs that leads to a dock; to the immediate left at the bottom of the stairs is Hope Clinic. Office visit experience I checked in. Gave her my medical records. Filled out some paperwork (download and fill out before your visit to help with time). Waited 15 mins. And was then seen by the wonderful and very informative, Dr. Kimberly Free. Dr. Free and I were able to discuss a multitude of things. And I was able to receive the proper education on herbal medicine and what was right and not right for me. Her mannerisms were calm, cool and collected. She knew her stuff and was very good at explaining things properly. Overall, the best part of my visit. Professionalism Overall the office was very professional. The decor was really nice and conductive of a calming and positive environment. No complaints here. Helpful tips There are age specifications regarding required medical records. And yes, it does say that medical records are not required for a specific criteria, but wouldn't u be inclined to bring them anyways to ensure that you get what you came for? If you did the proper research, you will notice that the website provides all the proper info to help you have a good experience. I do advise researching and reading every link and tab on the webpage. It's really not that much. Great info laid out in a nice and easy to read format. Be informed! Do your research. Be informed. And don't be that guy.

There was no answer even though the office was still supposed to be open, and the voicemail box was full. I made my appointment on Friday to go in on Monday, and then was viewing an apartment on Monday. I was actually on my way there, running late, when I received a call from someone at this office -- I believe she said her name was Kathy -- who was beyond rude. (I only answered because I thought it might have been someone at the realty company.) She said that she had additional questions for me; I told her that I was running late for an apartment viewing and asked if she could call back in an hour. She responded that she was "trying to run a business here" and bulldozed over me, insisting on speaking with me right then and there. The information that she gave me also didn't match what is on the website. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Run far away and find a clinic where the staff will treat you with dignity and respect. You deserve it.
