Thanks so much for the great customer service to Stefan and Eric! They were phenomenal! I am a 100% disabled military veteran that suffered a bad injury while serving immediately after 9/11. I've suffered in pain everyday of my life since. While visiting Higher Leaf, Stefan and Eric gave me encouragement and so much knowledge based on the products they offered for pain relief. I wanted so badly to leave a 5 star review but after walking to my car and attempting to use the product that I purchased to rub onto my skin, upon opening it was broken apart and fell out onto my seats and clothing. I immediately went back into the store and explained to another employee (Randy) what happened and he made me feel terrible about requesting a new one and even said I should put it in the refrigerator next time after purchasing and even came across as if he could care less about exchanging. He then walked to the back and never came back and I ended up waiting and another employee (Stefan) approached me and asked me if I was waiting for something. I explained what happened and he stepped up and explained what happened was unacceptable and did everything in his power to allow me to know that was not the standard at Higher Leaf. Due to this, I'm still not sure I'll go back again but I definitely still appreciate Stephan and Eric making my visit a great one outside of the unfortunate situation with Randy. Would be zero stars if possible. I was at this store twice before to bring back a vape pen (if that is what it was?) because the thing never worked. Both time I was told to come back b/c no manager in the store. Went back today. Upon entering, greeted by guy in overalls who went on and on about how I needed the packaging (was never told that when I purchased it) but had receipt (hello, had receipt). I could talk with manager but he is going to tell me the same thing he is telling me. I put the expensive vape pen into one of the many pockets of his overalls and started to leave whereupon he said "no, you don't have to do that --you can see a manager. Really, why? He told me the manager was going to tell me everything this blowhard did. Goodbye to my money. Goodbye to this store. I will NEVER go there again and neither will many of my friends and family. I am extremely disappointed with my experience ordering from Higher Leaf in Bellevue. I placed an online order for a pipe they listed on their website for $3. However, when I went to pick it up, they outright refused to honor that price. Instead, they only wanted to give me a lighter that was clearly not worth anywhere close to $3. It was very frustrating to take time out of my day to go pick up an order, only to have the business refuse to fulfill it as placed. Listing products at specific prices but then not honoring those prices is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this establishment since they clearly do not honor their online pricing. I would caution other customers to be wary of placing orders with them if they are unwilling to fulfill them as agreed upon. read more

Been coming here for years, at first the selection was kinda small and now they have exploded over the years to have a very extensive selection which I love. Everyone on the staff is nice and very friendly, even if there is a line they can get through it pretty fast. The location is perfect because all your munchie needs are within walking distance jack n the crack, Mickey D's, Dairy Queen, teriyaki, India gate, little John's diner, multiple gas stations, Starbucks, and a decent Safeway within walking distance. Tried going in twice just to see how the experiences would be different... Boy were they different! The first time was okay the employee was a large African American person and was helpful and fun. The second time in was completely ass by comparison. The skinny white dude was doing paperwork and looked busy. That's okay because I work a customer service job that's pretty busy so I know how important it is to make customers feel understood and like you are giving them the attention they diserve. I thought "I will get extra good help because he is obviously a manager" Not this guy I was treated as though my questions about top shelf the special they were running was an inconvenience.. I could see it really was genuinely an inconvenience for him. He couldn't put down what he was doing for the moment even though I was spending my hard earned money at this awful location. When I asked him about top shelf flower.. ( I was about to blow $200) he literally started talking about the comparison experience of eating a steak .. standing there for 10 minutes listening to this guy try to sound like he knows something about good food. I realized he wasn't going to show me any strains I was asking for. He was just trying to get me the fuck out the door. I was seriously fuckin shocked! I wouldn't trust someone who works at a weed shop to tell me shit about good food anyway. Maybe if they seemed cool ( this guy did not ) I was there for weed! Do your job and don't pretend like you are qualified to talk about steak because seriously nobody cares... Needless to say I won't be spending a dime at this place. I usually smoke, but wanted to try edibles for the first time. Knowing I'd have a few questions, I went in when they had just opened to ensure it wasn't busy. I was the only person in the store, but the staff acted like I was wasting their time--they were rude and unhelpful. The woman helping me was clearly annoyed with my questions (she also had a hard time answering basic questions) and the dude working with her was super condescending. I ended up buying a hybrid joint, only to get home to find she sent me home with sativa. Coming from Colorado, I'm used to dispensary staff being knowledgeable, cool, and asking basic questions so they can make recommendations. This experience was the total opposite. What a bummer. Please add a higher leaf location to Issaquah! I appreciate your customer service and ability to online order and have it ready when I arrive. Fast and efficient. I love the frequent flyer club! Earning points for discounts is wonderful! I respect the quick response for social distancing and small number of customers inside. Lines are clearly marked in the sidewalks which I have noticed outdoor customers were disregarding. Staff inside remind customers to social distance. Thank you. One large concern, all staff did not wear masks. Not safe. Masks should be required as well as gloves . I saw one employee fully protected with mask and gloves. That should be the standard. There was a time I would have said a pot shop is not an essential business, however, I have severe arthritis and have had good relief of pain with CBD/THC tinctures and I am grateful. read more

Machines can be slow at times, with technicalities. Happened twice for my visits out of around 10? I switched to a new number, and the first time the staff mentioned they would enter my old number and port it over to the new one. This doesn't appear to have been done as I was asked this each time I came into the store, about 4 times now, with no changes to my number to reflect my new one. Other than that, it's in a pretty decent location. Not too many selections like hash or moon rocks or special concentrates. read more

First of all, this store has great prices and an awesome rewards system. I come here all the time and the prices are constant. I did knock off a star because I often see staff wearing their masks under their nose or the kind of mask that's like a bandana and is just open on the bottom. During a deadly pandemic, this is completely unacceptable and makes me feel unsafe and uncomfortable as a consumer. I hope that the bosses are aware of this and change this rule soon. I also hope that the bosses here are letting their staff stay home if they're feeling ANY kind of Covid symptoms-I've heard otherwise and that is definitely worrisome. I've started wearing more heavy duty masks in here for these reasons. But overall, good prices and really nice employees. read more

I've spoken to the owner about the lack of customer service here before. I don't think it's getting through. I feel that there has been little to no training on how to create a welcoming environment for visitors. You don't have to kiss people's asses, just don't be an ass. I'm not sure how a shift supervisor making fun of a customer's name is supposed to build rapport between this business and it's consumers. When I was a bartender I never once carded someone, laughed out loud, then made jokes about their name in front of them. The only people I joked with in that manner were people I knew personally, not someone I had never spoken to. If Brett is really your shift supervisor you should look into swapping his role. Ignorant and unprofessional to say the least. I'll vote with my money and my feet. read more
