Pretty cute little spot with a good selection. I like the edible brands they carry, specifically Wyld. They give me a solid high consistently. The staff are approachable which is refreshing. I don't where to start as there are too many issues which should merit strong concern. 1. They card you at the door. that's the law. However, they card you again when you ask to put your hand on any product even to look at the label, then they card you AGAIN when you pay for your product. Card at the door is adequate. Imagine if you are at a restaurant with your boss and the card them ever tine the order a drink. 2. I was in today to purchase 2 specific products. August 19, 2024, 3;15PM, was greeted by a young person who asked me if I knew what I wanted. I did indeed. I informed the person what it was I was looking for. 3. Person takes the 2 products out of the case and tells me to meet her at the register. She did not take them to the register. 4. I was charged $33.50 twice. once for a product I received and $33.50 for something I did not receive, It is my opinion that this store and the practices within which they operate are the very reason many people are so averse to having this shady operation in our polite society, There are many great dispensaries out there however, this is not one of them. Terrible service. Went in there Saturday afternoon/evening. It seemed like I was interupting their party, I was only customer music was blasting really really loud. Smelled like they were smoking weed in the store, real strong weed smoke smell. I asked if they were partying early tonight. The guy who said he was manager told to me to STFU. He looked really high so I did not respond to him. I bought about 250 worth of supplies and then after I paid and was leaving the manger told me never to return if I could not mind my business. WTF? I just asked if they were partying. I thought these were State regulated store, why do they allow such people to run something like that? Someone else here gave 1 star for this business protecting their licensing and having patrons remove their mask for one second to verify identity. Please disregard this persons' opinion. I'll keep this brief because I didn't expect to have a review worthy experience because I feel like every time I go into dispensary in Washington, there's this look most locations go for that feels very Spencer's / Hot Topic ish and so it was great to finally give this place a chance! The entry is confusing because they have an online pick up window and then the security guard looks like a cop, super weaponed out and is very serious that you exit the correct way. I had the security guard and some tall white male behind the counter shout at me that I was going the wrong way. It was odd. Other than that, the shopping experience is easy to walk. The gentlemen who helped me seemed very knowledgeable. I had used Leafly to find some strains I wanted to try to help with sleep. They didn't have them so we settled on two other options. Over all, the only advice I'd give dispensaries is this 1. Provide more tools or devices to smoke with. Shopping online is a nightmare and being there for the adult signature is annoying. 2. Gay people smoke too and removed the toxic masculinity from behind the counter and guide the budtenders on how to adapt to each guest / patient. 3. I've only been to two other spots like this and I must say this place is the nicest and most chill when you walk in. I love the treehouse feel. It's very fitting and I want to give a high five to whoever designed this spot. I'm not really a cannabis connoisseur so I don't know what a lot of things are and could use some educating. I occasionally buy some edibles or most recently a cartridge. Each of the few times I've been here I've gotten great customer service. Everyone is so knowledgable and attentive when someone looks like they might need help. There's also a really good selection compared to the other places I've been to. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the inventory they carry of edibles aren't consistent and they are a little pricey. I've been here 4 or 5 times now and there are always new things (which is good) but what about when I want to buy the same brand of cookies I bought last time but there aren't any and I have to buy something new which might, and in my case did, suck. If this was based on employees, it'd be 5 star. We've been going here a long time and love the employees, but within the last year have not gone so much because of two reasons: one, they used to carry weed that someone without a lot of income could still count on getting, but now they never have an ounce below $60. Two, there is no variety...it's always the same brands and the selection for higher end ounces is always just 2 or 3 choices. We only buy in ounce quantities and Euphorium, Buddys, and Greenside always have much better prices, selection and deals. I used to be a frequent customer here but started coming here less and less due to their extreme lack of indica supplies. The past few times i had to leave empty handed because everything was a hybrid unless i wanted to buy an 8th or more. I personally enjoy variety so i prefer to buy several grams or 2 grams at a time. Also within the past few months they changed their layout from being organized by strains to being organized by price... for me it just makes it harder to find what im looking for, but maybe thats also because you rarely have what i prefer in stock consistenly anyways... I know certain products can sell quickly due to demand, but if it sells out quick, shouldnt you consider ordering a larger stock of it? Just a suggestion. This review is mine, copy and pasted from the North Renton location Facebook Page but the horrible policies are applicable to the entire business: "Online menu is never accurate (for any of the three stores!!), and Store employees are taught to confirm your orders whether they actually have what you are ordering or not. Then when you show up expecting your order since you received the "Good News, your order is ready!" text, they will tell you not only is your order not ready, but that they couldn't fill it since they were out of one or more thing. (I once had an entire order marked as ready when they were out of every single thing.) They then try to up-sell you to an item that costs more. Pretty good racket. Too bad there are pot shops on every corner. Keep looking until you find one that values people over profits, and who understand what words like "confirm" and "ready" mean. Also the Mick, the store manager, is an insufferable know-it-all, who in 5 minutes told me the info I had about a product was all wrong (showed them on his store website where it said a strain was more indica dominate, he said it was sativa and he was right and the site wrong. I said that Leafly confirmed the info on his store's website and what do you know, Leafly was wrong too!) and acted like I was uninformed for trusting both Leafly and, again, the Evergreen Market website menu for his own store. If Manager is right (highly doubtful), the website needs updated. If the manager is wrong (way more likely), he needs retraining and reminded that he's not selling some hard to find good, and that he will lose sales based on the most important thing: how a customer is treated! And the importance of making them every customer feel valued, not stupid and less-than. I used to come in to one of the three Evergreen Market locations no less than 4-5 times a week. My mom came about 2/week. Dad not as often at about only once a month, but he went all out. I had asked for permission from another employee if I could call my 80 yr old father to show them what they had since he could not remember the name and to show him the pictures instead. The manager assumed that I did not get permission and she was very rude, abrupt and said well I don't know who you were on the phone with. When I told her that I got permission and she said well I'm the manager not him, demeaning the gentleman that was helping me. When I told her assumptions and approach was aggressive and that she was rude and her being the manager was a moot point she was still very inconsiderate and bent on being the manager. I drove down, was ready with WDL at Door and was directed to their THREE LINE PROCESS: 1) first employee, a bud tender showing products. I knew what I wanted and he hand wrote a slip of paper of my order, directing me on to: 2) Second employee who checks prior paper then shows you products which you select. This place was beyond underwhelming to me. It was my first time in a store and the person helping me seemed like she had better things to do. It was my first time in any Mary Jane place and my boyfriend and I were beyond excited for me. (He is a patient for California places, his knowledge of stores is much greater than mine). Ahh, yes! I have been at this place the last four days in a row! I usually just stop by to grab a pre-roll and keep it going. The pre-rolls are such a great deal it's hard to pass it up. They have them for starting at $6 and it goes up from there. They do see it by the gram and up. I tried the other establishment down the street and this one is by far the best. You can see and smell your weed before you buy it. The associates are very knowledgable and helpful all of there suggestions have been amazing. My wife was so excited when she started seeing shops go in closer to us in Renton and when she found this one online she couldn't stop talking about it. We went for our first visit and we were quite happy with it. It was nice that they have the sections broken down. We don't do the concentrates or edibles at this point so it was nice that it is all separated so that if we want only flowers we won't have to wait for other customers looking for/at edibles or concentrates as those are in different locations. There is even an education station so to speak where someone can help you understand what you might want and again, completely separate from customers who do know what they want. The decor is very warm and somewhat organic and very comfortable. The THC model painted on the floor (from the initial pics I thought it was backlit green plexiglass or something) is pretty cool. There is plenty of room, almost too much, and it feels like the middle of the room is somewhat of a dead zone but I will admit that it leaves lots of room to set things up for special grower/processor events. The kind of thing that some call Farmers Markets where a grower comes in and interacts with the public. Prices and selection are pretty good and on par with our favorite shops with one exception. Rather than simply carrying the same farms and processors that so many others carry, The Evergreen Market carries a lot of them that are lesser know or are the larger growers' secondary line. That is a great feature and helps to bring in more customers looking to try something different from what they are used too. And if you are visiting from out of town and come in by plane, not only is one of the closest ones coming from Sea-Tac Airport, if you show them your boarding pass they give you a discount! :) All in all this is a pretty solid shop and we certainly look forward to multiple visits..... especially when they have great specials! :) read more
