I've never had to ask for an exchange before because they're usually fine, but this one was clearly defective. When I asked if I could switch it out, they refused. Pretty disappointing experience. Ok selection. Ok service.. But not the best place to go. 1. They scan your ID and do not have a no scan option. It doesn't matter that the door man scanned it, each person that tries to help you will scan it regardless of your hesitation. 2. They bring you selections that they think you'll like, which isn't a bad thing if you're new or ask for them to do that. What is bad is having that type of service forced on you. They don't let you view all their options and decide for yourself. There is no choosing product for yourself. Which is annoying because I know what I like and I don't appreciate being sold something or solicited to buy products I know I don't like. If at all possible, I would go elsewhere. read more

My wife and I have been loyal and long term customers of the Evergreen Market and 98% of the time we would shop at the South Renton location. We have been going there every 1-2 weeks since pre-pandemic and always have a larger order (i.e. we spend lots of money at Evergreen and I always leave a tip) and our most recent visit was not only a disturbing experience but also an eye opening one, in the sense that I can't fathom the fact that we have not heard back from upper management about our experience. My wife has a medical alert service dog and we were at Evergreen on March 1st checking out at the register when a man walking past us, after he had checked out, threatened physical violence against my wife's service dog (as he walked past me he said that he was going to "stomp on the dog's fu$%ing tail if he was in the way next time"). I didn't quite catch what he had said and asked him to repeat himself, which he did loudly in front of the staff member who was helping us. As you can imagine this statement was not received well and there was a verbal escalation of the interaction as the man now wanted to take things outside. At this point a staff member did ask the "gentleman" to leave and we finished our transaction and headed out. We were then further bombarded with verbal threats and catcalls as we pulled out of the parking lot. After arriving home my wife reached out to discuss things with the on-site manager of Evergreen and we were told we would hear from higher up management. A few days passed and we still hadn't heard from Evergreen, so I placed an online request for them to reach out to me.........and still nothing. A couple of weeks had passed and I stopped by Evergreen to speak to the on-site manager (who happened to be the same individual my wife had spoken too). She expressed that she was surprised that we hadn't heard from anyone as she had passed the situation along to the higher ups. She took down my information and said I should be hearing from someone...............Well May is now just right around the corner and we still haven't heard from anyone at Evergreen regarding the verbal assault and threats directed at my family while shopping at Evergreen. Given the ID checks, in-store cameras and the number of witnesses to this event (many staff included) it should have been super easy to have determined who the offending individual was and to revoke his privileges at the Evergreen Market. You would also think that a business that advertises itself as "dog-friendly" would want to take action against someone who is threatening physical violence against dogs in their shop along with the fact that our dog is a clearly labeled SERVICE ANIMAL that has been coming in with my wife for years. On top of that you would think that a local small business would like to keep a loyal customer who drops an absurd amount of money at their shop every 1-2 weeks. Turns out Evergreen doesn't care about any of that or for my families safety while we shop at their business. For these reasons we will no longer be spending our money at any Evergreen location and will find a nicer and safer dispensary. read more

But just last week we had purchased a pioneer square lemon mandarin edible and it was a 10pk and today we went back in to purchase another order of the same item and they had raised the price by $5. My husband then asked why that was since it was just last week we had purchased the exact item door $30. And when I found out I looked online this evening to see if other distributors had done the same and they had kept it at $30 not $35. I found this very unethical as a business to make profit like this and other local companies did not. This place is my go to dispensary, when I'm in the area. Hands down, one of the cleanest and most organized places I've been to for my smoking enjoyment. They have almost anything you can think of. Tons of different variety and Bud Tenders who are knowledgeable, polite and eager to help. They also provide online ordering. My experience with that has been awesome! I simply place my order, get a text when it's ready and head down as soon as I can. Go up to the window, push the button if nobody's standing there, and I've always been attended to, without delay or attitude. What makes them stand out to someone like me, is their professionalism in helping others and supplying a product at a good price with good value. If you're in the area, stop by.
