One I time I was in there? Some lady came in, thinking she was the Queen of France or something? She thought she was entitled to things because she had a medical card. They kept telling her, "it's legal now, you don't need it!" she said "stop arguing with me! I wan to speak to your maanger, this instant!" (she was one of those types) She held up the line for quite sometime making a lot of noise and a lot of no sense. she kept saying, stop arguing with me! and the manager guy goes, "I promise you I'm not." and the lady goes. "see?" at this point the line started to really build up. As she proceeded to lie on the ground and tantrum about how her medical card gives her, basically free. weed. They suggested she make an appointment come back later, so she could have the one on one and all the time she needs? So the people behind her, could be taken care of. She FREAKS! "An appointment!? an appointmen!? you never said that?" and manager guy goes, "I jus-i just did? what?" and she goes "Stop Arguing with me!!" she then stormed out and promised she'd leave a bad review on yelp! i don't know if she ever did or not? but if you read a negative review about this place? well? if you are also a regular here? Then i dont need to tell you that we live in a world now where people just lie, our President lies like his life depends on it? Went to Higher Leaf in Kirkland to get some gummies to help me sleep. I asked about getting a medical card and was given all the things I needed to do - go to a website, pay a fee, have an interview by an MD, follow the instructions, and receive the form from them giving me authorization. And after I received the form, I was told at Higher Leaf, to just bring it in Monday, Wednesday, or Friday 12 to 3. So getting the form worked pretty well, but then when I brought it in to Higher Leaf at 12:00 am on a Monday, they said I needed an appointment. I said " they didn't tell me that" and that I was just to bring the form in M-W-F 12 to 3. They wanted to argue and argue, even the manager just wants to argue and argue and do everything they can to be absolutely unhelpful without giving any suggestions. Horrible customer service. Don't go to this place because if they can't get the Medical card process right, they surely can't get being a reliable supplier right either. I'm convinced that a pretty woman would have gotten in-like-Flint. Avoid Higher Leaf in Kirkland - horrible horrible customer service. read more

Updating my review due to a small incident I had where my ADHD/Dyslexia got the best of me and caused me to forget grabbing my change from the cashier one night. I got an automated email afterwards (which could've been sent in error and was coincidence) saying my pickup was declined even though I had just picked it up which led me to remember my change I forgot. I called back the next day to see if there was a chance I could come back for it and instead of them going on some long process to verify or tell me 'no' since it was my fault, they went ahead and set it aside for me super quick and basically took me on my word. Despite any of my gripes with lack of products or variety being consistently in stock, their business integrity quickly handling petty situations like this will help retain me as a customer. read more

To be fair, I have rarely not had a good experience at any marijuana shop in our area, however, this one stands above all else and the prices & selection are great. The only complaint I have is that two locations were open on Christmas Day and that seemed a little bit ridiculous for their staff. My family and I were under the oppressive thumb of Lancaster, California, so to give my family a better life, my family and I fled the deep south of Southern California, to the "free" north. King County, Washington attempting to live up to Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream of economic equality, had in place social safety nets, that in combination with my veteran benefits, allowed my family and me to attain permanent housing in Kirkland. I was accustom to medical cannabis in California, finding cannabis the only relief from the war I fought abroad, and continue to fight at home. One faithful day, I was called down by my building's management and asked to come down. My daughter asked if she could come with me, and of course, I was happy to have her company. As I held my daughter's little hand, the elevator doors opened to multiple Kirkland Police Officers in tactical gear. A detective explained to me, that they had talked to management, who gave him a sparkling review about my family and I...that the report from Lancaster, Ca Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputy did not have any evidence of the charges, and he believed something wasn't right...but, they still had to do their job and take my little girl. The officer added, that he would not arrest me for kidnapping my own daughter from California Department of Child and Family Services, because he had kids, that in fact, many of the officers in attendance were fathers, and allow me to return freely, to fight for my family. My daughter's first flight was without her family, in fear. We didn't even hear from her for about a week. Long story short...our family was destroyed that day. Critical thinking led me to get some cannabis and workout, giving me the relief and clarity necessary to devise a solution and see it through. I walked to High Leaf, before going to Totem Lake 24 Hour Fitness. I could only see my daughter's face, so I don't remember how much parking there was, or how long the line was. I got to the counter and placed my order. The sales associate was helpful and gave me a veterans discount. I walked out of Higher Leaf, and the same helpful sales associate followed me out the door...to give me what I needed. The sales associate said, "I can tell you're going through something, and I just want you to know...I hope it gets better." After returning to California, I was caged for over a year because I couldn't afford to bail out and support my family. I was reunited with my daughter, with supervision from DCFS, of course. Our family will never be the same, but my daughter and I may never have held each other's hand again, had that sales associate and my path never intersected. I got more than cannabis that day from Higher Leaf. If I could visit Higher Leaf right now, I would, but I'm a second class citizen prohibited from voting, leaving the state without permission, and consuming cannabis, even for medical purposes; though my crime was non-violent, and zero property damaged and/or lost. I've been shopping here for at least 4 or 5 years, spending hundreds a month, and when they falsely advertised the 30% off to me, I asked if they could honor it one last time since I was told otherwise. The chick with the pink hair, who apparently is a supervisor (laughs), was super rude and did not care if I was a loyol customer or not. She simply did not want to help. Trust me. In April 2019 I thought I had found the best weed shop around in Higherleaf Bellevue - I don't get weed often, but when I do, I spend a lot. In October/November 2019, my boyfriend and I noticed a decline in service and selection. Bud-tenders not asking to scan our cards, not being super helpful, and the selection of vapes and our favorite brands weren't in supply. Today 12/6/19, I pre-ordered GG#4 from WA Grower and a vape cartridge, and they gave me Gelato. It didn't even occur to me to check the name. Not only that, but my boyfriend was on his 5th scan and we should've gotten a 20% discount and suddenly they can't find him in the system AT ALL. The only redeeming thing is that the person gave me a 10% discount, but even that wasn't quite enough. So frustrated with this experience, I'm not sure I'll go back. I pre ordered 7 grams of CBD weed as I have cancer and I don't completely trust refined CBD products, so I use CBD weed. When I got there to pick up my order, it was only 3.5 grams. I informed bud tender that I had ordered a quarter ounce and they went back and put what I thought was a quarter in the bag. I paid for 7 grams and when I got home found out it was an eighth. Since I lost the receipt, or never got one, I tried calling the store to see if they could check their inventory and see if they were over an eighth. I was informed that they had no way of checking inventory, but if I could produce a receipt, they would make it good. Since I lost the receipt, I was screwed. This wasn't the first time this store tried this. On one of my last online orders, I ordered more than what the bud tender pulled for my order. Since they don't seem to scan the labels on the containers when they sell it, which would be highly accurate with no way to overcharge for a smaller amount of cannabis than was ordered, I'm assuming this is a way for bud tenders to steal from customers. I assume the bud tender kept the 3.5 grams I didn't get on my order. It's really bad karma to rip off cancer patients. The only reason I drive 20 miles to this store is because they have CBD weed, which not all stores carry. If I go back to Higher Leaf In Kirkland, I will be very careful from now on to not get ripped off by bud tenders gaming their gameable system. I hope bud tender is into not getting high, as this was almost pure CBD weed with very little THC content. Ripping off cancer patients is bad juju. And I always tipped bud tenders as well. If I go back, I won't tip to recoup the value of the eighth the bud tender kept. So, no tips from me for a while, if I don't find another store to purchase my CBD weed. read more

I just recently turned 21 so I haven't been to many dispensaries but this has definitely been the best I've been too. Everyone there is so nice and makes you feel welcome, and just great overall customer service. Beautiful store, looks organized and just visually appealing. Very LGBTQ+ inclusive, people have pronoun pins and the bud tender who helped me asked for my pronouns. It was very thoughtful as my pronouns are they/them and I appreciated them asking. For the second time I placed an order online went and picked it up when I got home I looked and realized that the rerolls that I purchased weren't the ones that I had ordered online, they weren't even close it was like whomever pulled the order just grabbed what they like, not what I ordered. I gave them a pass the first time this happened, but not a second pass. If they can't do any better than this there are many other weed shops in Redmond to go to. Love going here because it is so close and convenient to my home and it gives me a reason to get out on a bike somedays if im lucky. I make money throughout the day delivering food and love to treat myself here 3 times a day usually. The staff here is great except for this Karen looking lady that seems to discriminate every time she sees me and I always have my mask on and usually place an online order. She constantly stops me and interrogates me like I am some criminal and it is really starting to bother Me because it has been happening for months. I am very close to filing a class action lawsuit against this company for discrimination and harassment. Not sure how they were able to get my review removed. I'll repost it every time you remove. Wouldn't redeem stamp card. Redeemed well over 2 dozen cards and they wouldn't redeem it because whoever stamped it before didn't push hard enough (though it was clear the card had been stamped). I have given this place an incredible amount of business and will no longer return. I have spent an enormous sum of cash here. Hopefully that 20% on my $60 transaction they saved was worth it. Always tipped the employees well and referred a hefty supply of people. Since I initially left this review and it was removed, I've found Mary Janes up the street not only has a much better stamp program (it's electronic so no lazy staff can forgot to stamp hard enough) but they have a far more knowledgeable staff and higher quality product. What I DO know is that the staff that helped us today were sooo nice and helpful. Also, really knowledgeable. My husband basically knew what he wanted, but did have questions about the cannabis oil that he wanted to get. I wanted to know how I could try some of these treats w/out knowing how much I should be taking to avoid getting blasted. It was suggested that I try these really small treats in 5mg servings to figure out what works for me. I also discovered they had some cider drinks as well, which really got me excited ;) Anyway, I learned a lot just by stopping in w/the hubby for a few minutes. And he got what he wanted and said it is wayyyyyyy cheaper here than the other place nearby that he went previously (also he felt more welcomed and comfortable here) and I think they also price match? First off I have been coming here for years since they opened literally. My experiences here have always been pleasant & personable. The environment is amazing. This one time in particular, as in today an asshole stole my wallet with $300+ in cash - a sweetheart cashier( she is in the picture I took for yelp with the blonde bun )who I cant recall her name, brought to my attention someone that the lady she was helping took it, obviously she didn't know it wasn't hers. Scott immediately called the police for me. & Lauren spoke with them being extremely calm and precise. BOTH SHAWN & LAUREN were superstars throughout this process, keeping me updated throughout the process of them checking the video footage and continuously apologizing throughout my wait. Also, I can't say enough how I appreciate their diligence and kindness. SPRING was such a sweetheart that she found my wallet outside & brought it back into me. & offered & apology. When in Seattle... Do what the Seattleites do? I mean, it's legal right!?!? They hand you a menu so you can take a look over what you want to get before you have to go up to the counter. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. My friend came and got some stuff and I went in with her cause naturally I didn't want to wait in the car. They got an ATM inside because they are cash only. Awesome cause you can stop by your bank ATM nearby so you don't have to use their ATM and there no paper trail! Ha! Just Kidding. CASH ONLY-there are ATMS you can use inside the store for a few. They do have discounted selections on various products. Edible cookies were small but taste was good. Not very soft like grandma's homemade cookies even though they are in air tight sealed bags. They do have an actual menu you can browse before going to the counter and placing your order and making your purchase. The store was pretty hoppin on a Sunday afternoon.
