After careful research, I came across this clinic online. Being a clinical researcher by profession, I felt compelled to find out everything I need to know in order to make an informed decision on a legitimate and professional clinic to patron. Scheduling the appointment Easy to do with a few clicks of the mouse. The only complaint I would have is that it's not mobile compatible. Other than that, once you've made your appointment online via computer, you will get a text confirming your appointment and a phone call from a rep. Kind of redundant but gives u opportunities to ask questions. Finding the location There are two. I went to the Westlake office. Easy to find the building. The office is located downstairs in Dope Magazine's office. It's kind of confusing, but no biggie; I opened the door and confirmed the location. It's not that difficult to do. So no complaints here. You can also find an entrance to the immediate right of the restaurant. There are stairs that leads to a dock; to the immediate left at the bottom of the stairs is Hope Clinic. Office visit experience I checked in. Gave her my medical records. Filled out some paperwork (download and fill out before your visit to help with time). Waited 15 mins. And was then seen by the wonderful and very informative, Dr. Kimberly Free. Dr. Free and I were able to discuss a multitude of things. And I was able to receive the proper education on herbal medicine and what was right and not right for me. Her mannerisms were calm, cool and collected. She knew her stuff and was very good at explaining things properly. Overall, the best part of my visit. Professionalism Overall the office was very professional. The decor was really nice and conductive of a calming and positive environment. No complaints here. Helpful tips There are age specifications regarding required medical records. And yes, it does say that medical records are not required for a specific criteria, but wouldn't u be inclined to bring them anyways to ensure that you get what you came for? If you did the proper research, you will notice that the website provides all the proper info to help you have a good experience. I do advise researching and reading every link and tab on the webpage. It's really not that much. Great info laid out in a nice and easy to read format. Be informed! Do your research. Be informed. I didn't even make it in for an appointment before deciding to go elsewhere. I tried to call the office after making my appointment to verify that I had all of my ducks in a row -- I didn't have my medical records yet, but I did have some other paperwork that I thought would be useful. There was no answer even though the office was still supposed to be open, and the voicemail box was full. I made my appointment on Friday to go in on Monday, and then was viewing an apartment on Monday. I was actually on my way there, running late, when I received a call from someone at this office -- I believe she said her name was Kathy -- who was beyond rude. (I only answered because I thought it might have been someone at the realty company.) She said that she had additional questions for me; I told her that I was running late for an apartment viewing and asked if she could call back in an hour. She responded that she was "trying to run a business here" and bulldozed over me, insisting on speaking with me right then and there. The information that she gave me also didn't match what is on the website. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Don't be taken in by the cheap authorization price--this place is bogus. A friend told me that cannabis salve eased his arthritis pain considerably, so I thought I would get authorized and give it a try on my hand. I made an appt with Hope Clinic. Big mistake! They are unprofessional and, I suspect, maybe not even a legal business. First off, the "clinic" is very hard to find--it's hidden inside the offices of Dope magazine! Must be a new profit center for Dope. There is no signage anywhere outside the building and Hope is not listed in the building directory. I had to ask the person working the lunch counter where Hope Clinic was--she pointed downstairs. Even down there, no signage. I wandered into the Dope offices to ask where the clinic was and, surprise!, there was the first sign. Strange! They are so under the radar it makes me wonder if they are legal or not. That was annoying but what was worse was the interaction with the receptionist. I made the appointment by phone a few days earlier and told her that I didn't have any medical records for arthritis--I hadn't seen my regular doc specifically about that. In spite of that, she made the appointment. Then when I got there today, the same person told me that the clinic had to have medical records--without them I couldn't be seen. I thought I was going to see a doctor so why do I need corroborating records? And why did that dummy waste our time by accepting the appointment? Don't confuse these guys with the "Hope Clinics" (note plural). Apparently whoever is running Hope Clinic used to be with them. Anyway, taking into account the shady "hidden entrance", the lack of a real medical office, the incompetence of the receptionist (I don't know about other staff), and the fact that they choose to foster confusion by adopting nearly an identical name as their previous coworkers (stealing the name?), I wouldn't have any confidence in this place. read more

I seriously cannot believe this place. The hope clinic, which is now botanical healthcare is a joke, I have no idea how this place is still a business. I went in for my scheduled appointment and NO-ONE was there! What?? Really?? I received no phone call for a forewarning and after calling numerous times, sitting outside in the rain, still a day later and NO CALL! Another customer who had an appointment came while I was sitting outside and was more furious than I was! This is highly unprofessional! Did everyone get arrested? Did I just get ripped off? Best decision to go to this place over other places! First off, I was a little confused on how to make the appointment online, so I called the office, the lady who answered the phone was pleasant I believe her name was Cassie, I had some extra questions on the phone and she was able to answer all of them with informative answers and then she gave me options on days and times. My appointment was scheduled for 3 in the afternoon, the office was easy to find, the feeling in the office was calm, everything was easy as far as providing my medical records and paperwork once i got there. I was seen by Dr. Kimberly Free who could not have been more informative and calming. she answered every question i could have imagined to have and made me feel like i knew what i was getting myself into and what to look for to help myself! overall, I enjoyed my experience and would recommend The Hope Clinic to anyone looking for an alternative medicine clinic! they are also the cheapest I could find in town which is a plus! read more
