You go in and see a naturopath and he'll write you a temporary script for 3 months. If you pay an extra $40, they'll contact your medical practitioner on your behalf... however you'll end up having to fetch your own records anyway (they gave my medical office the wrong fax number and never bothered to follow up when they didn't receive the records) and no one will ever get in contact with you. Bring your own medical records in advance, expect a long wait, and don't waste your money on the $40 convenience fee to have your medical records retrieved for you. read more

Usually a professional process. This time my time has been wasted. Made an appointment by phone for 3:15, it's now 4:45 and my name has not been called. Parking in area is limited to two hours. Going to have to re-park before seeing the dr. To add to the level of un-professionalism I overheard the front desk discussing my disability to each other not realizing I was still in the waiting room (almost 2 hours) now. Don't bother making appointments because you'll be in queue behind the walk-in's waiting for 2 precious hours like me. What's the point? read more

I went to the Snohomish location and it's a very, very "divey" office. In fact shady might be a better description. It looks like they found the couches in the waiting area at the Goodwill, but I don't think even the Goodwill would sell couches that dilapidated and worn out. A lot of these reviews are about medical records. I actually took my records with me, on a CD, but the doc never even looked at them! He asked if they could hold onto them because he wanted to look at them later. I was really hesitant because that's my only CD but I agreed and asked that they mail it back to me. That was over three months ago and every time I call I get a general message center for all of their 5 clinics. I've looked all over the internet and can't find a direct number for the clinic I went to. I've left several messages and haven't received one call back. The clinic is roughly 45 min from my house and a drive to the clinic appears to be my only option. Most businesses want you to be able to reach them. They have email, phones at every location, etc. I've never had so much frustration trying to reach an actual person, at an actual business - and this is a doctors office?!? Here's hoping that Hope Clinic gets it together!!! ...and if someone from their offices reads this pls msg me!! read more

I cannot recommend this clinic enough. After an unpleasant experience dealing with the other Hope Clinic in Tacoma, I discovered this clinic -- and I'm so glad that I did. The atmosphere was welcoming. The staff were all kind and helpful. The doctor took the time to explain to me the differences between the strains of marijuana and various delivery methods, in order to best treat my main complaints. He made me feel at ease and was both kind and compassionate. He truly seemed interested in helping me find relief. It felt like extra care was taken to explain to me how everything works because I am a first-time medical marijuana patient. I appreciated this greatly. I was a bit early for my appointment, with my medical records on a flash drive, and was taken care of in an extremely timely manner. I plan to return for next year's authorization and refer folks here every chance I get. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful experience where I felt that I was treated with dignity and compassion! I am overjoyed to be able to treat my chronic pain effectively, affordably and without a bunch of nasty side effects. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. To start, I've had an MMJ recommendation for three years, so I'm not new to this stupid game. My most recent recommendation expired this month, and Hope Clinic left me an insane amount of voicemail messages reminding me to come in. I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay them money now that cannabis is legal, but after numerous (and I mean numerous) phone calls I finally broke down and made an appointment. I brought in the same paperwork I've brought for the past three years. Upon arrival, I was informed that my appointment was not in the system but I could schedule one in 2 hours. I had already driven across town, so I was fairly annoyed that they had lost my appointment after bugging the hell out of me to make one, but I sat down, filled out my paperwork and waited. At this point the creepy middle aged woman wearing sunglasses (indoors on an overcast day??) who couldn't find my appointment in the system fiddled around with my paperwork. She came and sat down beside me to inform me that I had none of the required paperwork. Then it got weird. At one point, when I was clearly not listening to her any more, she took of her sunglasses and told me to look her in the eye when she's talking to me! I felt like I was back talking to a nun in grade school! As she was rambling about the changing regulatory environment and how it may have been easier to get a recommendation in the past but it's not anymore and it's not their fault they have to make sure they're covered... BLAH BLAH BLAH... I finally had to cut her off and ask if she could please just tell me what paperwork I need. She said I needed a doctor's diagnosis of my condition requiring MMJ. Which was the whole reason I was there! The previous two times they at least had a nurse practitioner on staff that had some level of medical training and could look at the scars on my hands and write out the recommendation. It didn't used to be this stupid. This whole thing is a scam at this point. This isn't a clinic... they don't do any clinical work other than taking your money and making sure a real doctor already did the actual diagnosis so their asses are covered when they hand you a legally worthless piece of paper. They used to at least be able to give you an assessment on the spot. Apparently they don't even do that anymore. What a gig. $75 plus $40 for them to retrieve your records just to rubber stamp the work already done by a real doctor. Well played Hope Clinic. I'm going to go back to my dealer or a recreational store. At least they provide an actual service when they take my money. read more

This place is a huge scam, this is suppose to be a health clinic? Dirty entry, dirty lobby, dirty floors, dirty bathroom & the doctors office was shabby & dismal. I am a first time patient & was told this place could help me. All they want is your money, go anywhere else for this medical marijuanna card. They never told me to bring in my medical records, which I did not have when I arrived. They tried to get me to pay $40 for them to get my records for me. Why did'nt they just tell me to bring my own records in? Because they want to get as much money out of you as they can. This place is a joke & even wonder if they are a legal business & are the doctors licensed. BIG BEWARE. Don't waste your time or money. i did not recieve my card the day of my appointment & left dissappointed. I asked about the new law & they acted like they knew nothing. Guess that's because the young girl at the counter could'nt explain the very law they are using to issue medical marijuanna cards for I ended up going to my regular doctor & he had no problem writing me a green card for medical marijuanna. Folks, you don't need to go to a sketchy clinic like this. Go to your doctor, he will write it for you at no cost since it was just apart of my of my visit. I have recently read about the new laws on Marijuanna for medical patients. Read them if you are a medical patient. I think this place will be shut down as I understand the new laws. these type of clinics will be illegal & your green card MIGHT not even be valid when the new law takes place 7-2015 BEWARE & DON'T BE SCAMMED. I made an appointment and brought my wife into the University district clinic yesterday to get her authorized for medical marijuana usage because of multiple back surgeries. We arrived right on time, but found the room full of people and I was told that even though we had an appointment, we'd have to wait our turn? They had a very nonchalant attitude about this and their reasoning was that everyone has to wait when they go to the doctor? My my wife is currently forced to use a walker and finds it very painful to sit down for any length of time, but we had driven an hour to get here and this was probably our only option on a Saturday. Poorly run joke of a clinic. Called to see if I could come in today, or make an appointment for next week, to get my renewal done, as I have been a patient of theirs for a couple years. Was told no problem, come on in and I could be seen. Turns out that was a lie. Arrived 5-10 minutes later and was treated rudely by the guy working checkin, but still decided to be seen since I needed to get this done. Waited over a hour and was not seen, nor did anyone even let me know how much longer it would be. Got back my id and left. There are better places than them. read more

I got my original authorization about a year ago and needed a renewal. When I went in I discovered that first there was a difference between there office hours and the hours when the doctor is in and then, when I saw the doctor's calendar, in small type, it turned out that there was a typo and that instead of 11-4 it was 11-1 Everybody makes mistakes but when you are a business you find a way to make it up to the customer. They didn't seem to think that was very important and just told me to come back. Very unprofessional. read more

Today I was scheduled for a visit with the doctor on staff at the University District location of Hope Clinics. Not being from the area, I wasn't aware of the Farmer's market that had the streets blocked from the direction I came in. I was 5 minutes late for my appointment and came in to find the room full of 15 people!!! One doctor!!! Their "oh well" attitude and explanation was that that they take walk ins and everyone gets out within an hour which they tell everyone. Well, they didn't tell me that when I made my appointment. Online the appointments are every 15 minutes so I assumed 15 minutes to a half hour. I had to leave without getting my authorization renewed because I had to get back to work. Besides the very poor and inefficient system for getting patients in to see the doctor, the employees obviously didn't care in the least! Very obvious to me that they are not even aware that they are in a customer service industry in which customer satisfaction should be a goal and in which they should understand that customers are paying their paychecks!! In an industry that is struggling for legitimacy and many within it are decrying how they are not being taken as serious businesses - it would help if those who play a role can make a contribution by conducting themselves professionally!! It wasn't as crowded when I was in a year ago but it was the same scenario of the appointment reservation having no value. They take whoever gets their paperwork done first and just put 'em all in a pile. I'm going to Have a Heart from now on. read more

Thought I would save $15 from the clinic I normally used located in Lynnwood and try the Clearview Hope Clinic. What a joke. They must schedule 10 people per time slot. If you feel like sitting in a small room with about 15 - 20 other people all waiting for over 90 min to see the doctor and then 40+ to get your paperwork ... than be my quest! I am going to break this down as quick and concise as I can and place emphasis where emphasis is deserved. This review is based on the Clearview office. Facility: Junky. The lobby is arranged with horrible pleather furniture. As in furniture you would buy from a guy selling tapestries on the side of the road who also sold furniture on the side. The "Dr's office" was just as bad. A big open room with a 5 time handed down beat up desk in the middle of the room with two $8.00 folding chairs to choose from. The walls were at least freshly painted and there was various medical marijuana poster propaganda spread around the space. A 19" monitor was mounted on the wall playing a DVD of medical marijuana information. When mounting a monitor on a wall for viewing I suggest you go a little larger than 19" and make an effort to hide the cables. A 19" monitor on the wall with cables draping down the wall is downright hilarious. Baller on a budget. Front Desk Fella: Super nice, very friendly, helpful and informative. "The Dr": I am going to direct this straight at her. You my friend are a condescending wench. I am sure you deal with jackals all day who are just there to get their card, play the system and smoke weed. But guess what? Everyone is playing the same game from the top down. You obviously have zero respect for your clients and it shows through in your demeanor. I don't expect you to be professional because you are not a professional in the true sense of the word. But I do expect you to be respectful and courteous to your clients. I truly regret that I didn't walk out and pay someone else $75.00. I was very tempted to do so, however kept my mouth shut and was courteous and respectful to you. Let me put this in perspective for you. You are a ticket dispenser at an amusement park. You are responsible for making sure we all meet the height requirements and you give us a ticket for the ride. We then take that ticket to the ticket taker at a dispensary and jump on for a hell of a good time. You provide absolutely zero value to this experience and can and most definitely should be automated with a script and the push of a button or a few mouse clicks. Enjoy your time acting as the gatekeeper to fun. You will soon be obsolete and back to prescribing aromatherapy and tree roots out of the back of your van or at best an underground china town 8x8 office. **The staff at the Roosevelt office is super nice. Visit them instead. 5 stars for the U Dist office. And thats even after having to wait a few hours for my apt. Thats how nice and accomodating they were. Clearview was so bad I came straight home and signed up on yelp just to bash them. read more
