honestly, the WORST customer service i've ever experienced. None of the workers are educated in product. I bought a bad cartridge that they refused to return, offered me an employee discount off my next purchase instead of making it right, total BS. The employees here are AWFUL, SMELL BAD, and have NO customer service skills. I will never come back !!! American Mary's Dispensary being 2 blocks up the street towards wallingford with a great crew~ DONT SUPPORT THE JOINT, period. read more

I wish there was an option for 1/2 stars on here because truly I'd give the joint 3 & 1/2. Pros: Idyllic location if you're on foot, located right off the 45th street exit in Uw. Quick service Located in between Subway (sandwich shop) and smoke shop. 3 in 1 stop shop Cons: Small/somewhat disorganized store and displays. I never had the opportunity to go and browse for other products I was looking for because A. It was packed and B. Each time I went I was rushed through by the bud tenders, pushing products I think they just needed to sell? I don't care about the THC percentage I care about the terpene profile... A lot of mids at higher prices than elsewhere. Also was asked if I had a number with them and I said not yet, but the budtender didn't ask me to set one up? Kind of weird There's not really anywhere else in Udistrict, so for convenience the joint is where it's at. Overall good option to have for location read more

fairly consistently out of stock on items their site lets you preorder, not all cashiers are trans accepting, surprising for Seattle American Mary nearby may be a bit pricier but has none of those issues read more

Apparently this is the first dispensary in Seattle! Super cool. Idk why everyone is hating on this place cause when I went in I was treated with nothing but respect. I told them it was my first time and they gave me 20% off my order! Everyone was super friendly. Very pleasant experience. read more

Hit-or-Miss Service That Finally Missed (For Good) I've spent a lot of money at this shop over the years--mainly because it's close to home and I'm a disabled veteran pursuing my PhD at UW. Convenience matters. And to be fair, there are one or two employees here who are absolutely fantastic: respectful, helpful, and actually know their stuff. But I can't rearrange my life hoping they'll be on shift just to avoid dealing with the rest of the staff. On Memorial Day, I brought in an empty product container that I'd purchased out of state--a sealed cardboard box that used to hold a glass container (no product, no smell, just packaging). I wanted to see if they had anything similar. That's it. I politely asked, and instead of any basic customer service, they got defensive and accused me of trying to get them fired. Seriously? They refused to even look at the item. The manager on duty, who always looks annoyed when I walk in, made the whole interaction tense and uncomfortable. The budtender that helped me didn't seem to know much about the products either. This isn't the first time I've had an off experience here, but it was definitely the last straw. I'll gladly spend more gas and time to support a shop that knows how to treat every customer with respect--every day, every shift. Veterans, and honestly, everyone, deserve better than this. And this is Seattle... there are plenty of options. Also: scrolling through these reviews, I keep seeing the same guy I'm talking about. He used to work security at the door and now he's behind the counter. People are literally posting photos of him in their bad reviews--and somehow, he's still employed? I'm not the only one. He once told me to my face, "I don't care how much money you spend here." And that was the moment you lost another loyal customer. Good luck with that business model. read more

Awesome service, knowledgeable Budtender was able to help me find what I needed. Came from out of town.

the change in management has brought about terrible budtenders. most of them cannot give you a recommendation of you ask them for something that will make you happy/relaxed/social/etc. seems like the change in management doesn't care about qualifications of employees, as the vast majority of them cannot tell you much about weed besides indica vs sativa, or give informed recommendations. budtender anthony barreto is consistently too high to do his job, usually walking away mid transaction, counting money upwards of 5 times, and taking my ID behind the counter and not giving it back until i ask (which is usually as i'm leaving, he usually forgets to give it back or that he even has it), adding up to 10 mins to my visit. he also makes unwanted advances on my partner, which i do not appreciate. read more

Shelby is a gem! I stopped in while visiting and needed to pick up, and Shelby listened to my needs and paired an excellent selection of flower and edibles. I'm a senior citizen and was treated as if I was the bum on the street. They didn't have the cartridge I was looking for so I pulled the cardboard backing from my last purchase at Dockside. The dude liked to flip out: "You can't have product in the store!" It was a piece of cardboard. I'd rather stop getting high than support this crap shot. read more

If you're happily visiting from out of town - DON'T COME HERE. This is coming from a local. When I went, the bud tender handed out unlabeled, bunk edibles as "free samples" - most likely expired product I saw grabbed from the back. What a genius, short-term solution that turned out to be. Makes me question what they leave up on their shelves. They shouldn't dish out garbage if they want returning customers. Selling weed isn't an excuse to run your business like a petty teenager. As another reviewer pointed out, this is Seattle. There are other places way more accommodating to your cash. If you have the audacity to walk in here after reading this, tell them where to shove it if they thoughtfully unload "free" candy before completing a sketchy purchase. read more

The employees here are really good at helping you find a new strain, but they wouldn't have to be if this place was just consistent. I don't think I've ever been able to get the same strain here twice once they've run out of something. It's like they don't restock with any of the same strains. Also some of the employees can be condescending; as someone who doesn't know a lot about weed there are a few employees, that when I can see they're about to help me, make me feel a little anxious. Overall this place is pretty convenient, and there's one girl with multicolored pastel hair who works there that is always so sweet. I just wish that I could go in without feeling like I need a backup plan. read more

I absolutely love the convenience of this location! They have fabulous staff & the venders always try to keep everyone up to date on products, merchandise, & laws/policies. always friendly budtenders with great service only downside is it's sometimes hard to look for yourself

This dispensary deserves so much better ratings than it has. They were amazing! They had a wide variety of edibles to choose from. All for a great price as well! I know this because I went to a few other dispensaries before making a large purchase here. They had the cheapest prices for the same amount of mgs per package, which is only 100mgs by law. Knowing it's the same dosage wherever you go, why would anyone want to spend more money?! Best bang for your buck! The staff was also extremely friendly! Major side bonus is that they have a friendly dog greeting customers. Most importantly... THEY TAKE CARD! I cannot stress over how almost all dispensaries only take cash. I totally get the whole tax evasion thing, but it's 2018. No one carries cash anymore. At least I don't. Especially not in downtown Seattle... just saying. read more

Bought a couple pre rolls from here, they burned very uneven and they didn't smoke well so I tried to contact the joint to tell them it was defective. I took a video of it burning bad and even saved the joints and they still wouldn't refund my money or give me new ones because of covid? I get not taking it back because it's contaminated but I was owed my money back. Save yourself the trouble and find a different dispensary. read more

Shitty..they change the deals and discounts Seriously, if they don't want to serve a customer or take their business, they should just say so. All of a sudden, I can't get discounts for ordering online, and the Friday deal of $2 off 1 gram joints don't count if you don't buy more expensive joints, which is new to me. I ordered two joints online and went to pick them up, and they told me I had to pay the full price because I didn't buy more expensive joints, which is a first. They also stopped giving my the discount for ordering online. They are stupid to think they are the only dispensary in Seattle or the U District. Business is better elsewhere. read more

Be careful POC going to this place! I went in to purchase, Sara helps me out typically but this day someone else did. There was a discrepancy between Sara and the person who checked me out regarding applying a discount in one transaction, after I asked some questions. Well the manager, Megan, came over and berated me as if I was in the wrong for being inquisitive, got very rude, and even told me, "You know you don't have to come back here."...I literally stopped responding to her and began speaking to my friend who I brought in the store with me. She walks past me and says "Is there something you want to say?" I was so taken aback, I asked her "Why are you being so confrontational? and asked her to stop speaking with me. Well I came back to visit two weeks later and upon having my ID checked, was told I am no longer allowed in the store. Spoke with the other manager Taylor, and he said there was nothing he could do. I was appalled but more concerning was the treatment I faced by Megan and her ability to victimize herself and ban me from an establishment. She is dangerous and very bad for business! read more

The store and staff are absoluytley amazing. Abundant choices and the staff are exceptional. I have been going to this store for years and I have not found anyone better. The staff knows me and takes such great care of me. I highly recommend giving this store some of your time. The prices are very good. There is a huge selections of products, and this where I get my CBD, which is a vital medication to me. And, there is so much more to choose from. The staff are highly knowledgeable and have your best interest in mind and heart. I am a very picky customer and places have to earn my loyalty, for many reasons, and this dispensary has no other equal, in my opinion. Give the staff a try and you should be surprised. I truly love this store and it's staff. I am not using the word "love" lightly either. read more

I can't believe I never reviewed Join Co-Op. I mean, if you're right here, that's one thing. If you're not, it's not worth the travel. Prices used to be way high here. Based on their current menu, it looks like they have gotten more in line with the emerging $10 across the board standard. Still a few $15 entries. Friends, consider yourselves dissuaded, no one in the city should ask this, it's unreasonable. Maybe I'm living in the past, heh, or Fremont. Last piece, the $10 special, granted, this was like a year ago, called "Corleone" (silly), had tons, and tons of seeds. Yeah, $15 for a super seedy experiment. I think not. Folks here are nice enough. Still, probably won't go back. Thanks for listening! read more

Assholes. They sold me CBD oil for my senior dog and when the top broke and wouldn't open anymore, they refused to exchange it. I came in today on the phone with my boyfriend to discuss what product I should get while waiting in line. Great staff, decent selection, good deals. I'd recommend going in on a Sunday since you can use any weekly deal. I bought quite a bit for pretty cheap. Currently they're cash only which is a bummer since I loved the convenience of paying with card, but it's not their fault.
