First time at the restaurant and the food was good but a series of issues. Starting with the bar code taped to the table. It doesn't work and I was advised of that after I tried to use it. There was a business card sized paper laying on the table and that one did work. Why not take the malfunctioning one off? Second I selected the breakfast flat bread as my choice only to be told that is "the one thing we are out of - I should have mentioned that." Ok! So I then had to rescan and open the barcode to make a selection. Not a huge issue but a nuisance. read more

Went here for lunch one weekend with a friend. It was a nice day and parking was actually hard to find as all the light farms residents were at the pool. Holy golf carts! I got a Cali grilled chicken avocado sandwich and it was so good. The bacon and avocado together was perfect and I felt like I as being good and cheating my diet all at once! Haha. We have been here a few times and it continues to be our go-to when we want to eat out but not sure what we want. Everyone in my family finds something we like here. I give them an extra star for having a nice variety of options on their menu, and some great photography to make the menu items look appealing. Unfortunately, that is kind of where the compliments stop. We found crazy discrepancies in the amount of seasoning put on the different foods. Two of us ordered french fries, one came with way too much seasoning, the other came with none. The rest of the food was just way more miss than hit. A lot of it just really did not taste up to snuff to match the high prices. The prices are my last main point. Extremely expensive for what you get, and $9 kids menu items is just outrageous for the amount of food included. Finally, no masks by any of the servers or staff, in the middle of a pandemic. That is more or less standard practice for this part of town, but I still feel the need to call it out in the event anyone is wondering. This is the first review I've posted on Yelp. I want to warn others about this place. Came here for Mother's Day. Group of 8. One mother and I ordered the raspberry skillet pancake. Comes with whipped cream and syrup. Yum. The other 6 people received their dishes. Waitress kept telling us 2 more minutes. 20 minutes later, received ours. The rest were done eating. When we finally received them, other mother's was not in a cast iron skillet. Asked where it was. They didn't have enough. They put this burnt on the edges and bottom pancake on a plate with syrup. I asked where the whipped cream was. They said they were out. Mine came in a cast iron skillet, which was something. I went to take a bite, when my daughter said "Mom, wait! I think that's strawberry". I'm highly allergic to strawberries. She asked the waitress, who checked in the back and sure enough, they substituted strawberries for the raspberries, without telling anyone! I literally could have died. No exaggeration. Their solution was to comp the bill. Don't know what else I expected them to do. Also, no paper towels in the bathroom. Had to use toilet paper to dry my hands. This was AWFUL. We tried 2 burgers. Both were dry. My son sent his back, and then we got charged another "recook" fee of 50%. It was $7 for a literal cup of spaghetti noodles with butter. There were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant, so the service was a struggle - which is fine if communicated - but it wasn't. When I brought these things up to the "manager", it would be kind to say she was indifferent. It was terribly overpriced, and shockingly below average. For the same price we can go to Toasted Walnut and have a fantastic meal. NEVER AGAIN. Not only will we never gone back, I will eagerly discourage anyone and everyone from this experience. The food has always been subpar here; Chicken tenders are over fried, salad is sometimes okay (when it's fresh)... The robots bring out your food, which takes away a lot of the service aspect. What absolutely grossed me out however, was when I ordered 2 grilled chicken breasts to go. I just wanted a healthy option and didn't feel like cooking. They gave me a box of chicken chunks with what looked like chewed hamburger meat inside . We paid over $36 for the meal and couldn't eat it. I'll never go back after that. read more

If you are looking for an affordable, family friendly restaurant, this is the place to go! My dad and I went there after a REALLY early morning at the ball field, and we had brunch around 11:00. The place itself is very homey and comfortable; my dad and I sat on the couch with a table in front of us. I got the OG Extra, and my dad got biscuits and gravy with a breakfast sandwich as well. It took no time for our food to get there, and it was SCRUMPTIOUS. The best part was that it was not expensive at all! After spending so much money on mediocre food, it was nice to pay a good price for a GREAT meal. Overall, I think it is now my favorite breakfast place! read more

I came to The Nook for NYE because there was live jazz music and a great menu for the evening. I was a bit concerned because of some reviews I saw but boy are they wrong. The staff is amazing, so kind, accommodating and attentive. The food was just phenomenal. The Chef definitely knows what he is doing. We had the calamari, perfect! We had the goat cheese with sun dried tomatoes, olives and pita bread, delicious! We had the Sea-bass which was cooked to perfection and the corn mix under was just so flavorful. So impressed with The Nook! We're building a house in Light Farms so we visit every weekend to check the progress. We've eaten here twice now & each time it's been SO GOOD! We did a curbside pickup the first time & had a picnic outside (no dine-in seating due to COVID19) & then today we had our first dine-in experience & loved it! First time.. Decent atmosphere, crowded and VERY noisy. Food was brought out wrong, and then brought back not warm, so I had to send back a second time. My wife's burger was over cooked and the server was not attentive to our needs/concerns. My 1 star was for our beers brought out cold. Would not recommend. We eat here probably 2-3 times a week for either breakfast lunch or dinner. Breakfast: the spaghetti is so good! Never thought I would want spaghetti for breakfast! The cronut although I don't feel like it's a cronut as much as just a donut is DELICIOUS. The arepa is a go to every weekend for my husband and I. Lunch and dinner: we love the tacos and the queso with brisket is on point! The jalapeño hummus is another top fave. My husbands go to is the Caprese burger which isn't always "on" the menu but is if you ask. My go to is the brisket flatbread. The bar staff is phenomenal! Never a bad drink!
