The owners are absolutely amazing--so warm, personable, and genuinely kind. They took the time to talk with us, answer questions, and made the whole experience feel personal rather than rushed. We've been to their sister store in Folsom and both locations have pretty good variety and low prices. This location is definitely smaller, but still has some good finds. You just need to take the time to look. It's located in the quaint little Burke Junction shopping center across the street from Safeway and Forklift, so there's always plenty of parking. Most recently, I snagged a cool coffee table made in the Japanese style of woodworking for a steal, plus a Hong Kong VCD version of LOTR! I literally haven't seen any VCDs from Hong Kong in ages, honestly since I've been there, so this was a really cool find. It was super nostalgic for me and I'm definitely adding it to my collection. On the way out, I spied a neat little chubby Pikachu figurine and had to get that as well. My husband has been in a Pokémon collecting streak lately so this was a fun little item to add to his collection too. All in all, the staff are pretty nice and I've been able to find things here and there for such a steal. We'll continue to support this thrift store!

I was really excited to come in and look at wedding bands since my fiancé had my engagement ring…read moreset here and previously had a great experience. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing and honestly confusing. I came in with my newborn son and my mom, and after waiting a few minutes without being acknowledged we walked up to the front desk to ask for help. A staff member assisted us and showed a few bands. When I found one I liked, I asked if it could be made in yellow gold. She said she would check with the vendor and offered to clean my engagement ring so I could look at the bands with my clean ring. After a few minutes, she returned with my ring, and when I asked to try on another band, she told us she was now helping someone else and couldn't assist us further.This was surprising since she had been helping us the entire time up to that point. I was ready to move forward with purchasing a ring but never received an answer about pricing and was told no when I asked to see another option. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
