I was greeted by a very nice lady who asked if I had been in before and I said I had not and she went on to explain that everything in the store is donated and they are a non profit and the money they raise helps the homeless. Very interesting and not what I was expecting. The store is set up very much like the antique shops with various areas of furniture collections set up with accessories etc. They had some very nice furniture, glassware, kitchen items, decorating accessories, jewelry etc. There was a lot to look at in the space and the staff was very friendly and engaging, asking if there was something particular I was looking for etc. The prices were very fair and I think are negotiable. I have so many projects going on currently so I curtailed purchasing anything today until I get a few projects off my list. I will certainly be back and keep this place in mind when I am up this way or heading to and from Tahoe. It will be added to my list of "must stop in, when up this way" places as the inventory is ever changing and its for a good cause so come check them out if you are up this way you are guaranteed to love this place if you love finding good deals, rare finds and unique pieces.

We've been to their sister store in Folsom and both locations have pretty good variety and low prices. This location is definitely smaller, but still has some good finds. You just need to take the time to look. It's located in the quaint little Burke Junction shopping center across the street from Safeway and Forklift, so there's always plenty of parking. Most recently, I snagged a cool coffee table made in the Japanese style of woodworking for a steal, plus a Hong Kong VCD version of LOTR! I literally haven't seen any VCDs from Hong Kong in ages, honestly since I've been there, so this was a really cool find. It was super nostalgic for me and I'm definitely adding it to my collection. On the way out, I spied a neat little chubby Pikachu figurine and had to get that as well. My husband has been in a Pokémon collecting streak lately so this was a fun little item to add to his collection too. All in all, the staff are pretty nice and I've been able to find things here and there for such a steal. We'll continue to support this thrift store!

I called back that day after confirming some measurements and she took my order over the phone and processed the payment on my credit card. Approximately 1 week later I called asking for an estimated shipping date. I was then told the order had not yet been placed with the furniture manufacturing company and they would be unable to do so until the owner got back from vacation, they were not sure when that would be. I asked if I could cancel my order and get a refund and they apologized and said they would reach out to the owner. The following day I received a short e-mail stating my order was placed and shipping information would be sent ASAP (I never received shipping information). Two days ago I received a text message that the chairs were ready to be picked up, I responded I would be by after I got off work to pick them up and got no reply back. I went by the store first thing on Saturday and waited in front of the business 45min past the posted opening hours of 10am, no one showed up. There was no sign regarding closures or inability to open and, of course, no answer on the telephone. I placed my order 28 days ago and I very much regret it. Too expensive for this poor of customer service. I have no comment on the quality of furniture because I have not seen the chairs.
