Not cool. In response: Is this procedure of continuing to sale items after contract ends in the contract? I would suggest that, if it is not, it be added so consignor is aware on signing. It makes for better optics when a consignor sees both their item as " donated" on ricochet ( by mistake) and "for sale" after contract ends. To prevent future confusion, you might provide a copy of the contract -- either a hard copy or digital--so they can refer to it for all those items that you don't " prioritize" . Which takes me to the city of Folsom where we both had the opportunity in checking out "Snowline Thrift Store". Located directly on East Bidwell St and adjacent to Glenn Dr, this very well-known thrift store has been serving the Folsom community and its surrounding areas dating back to 1979. Best of all, the money that is collected goes towards hospice care for a variety of hospitals and care facilities in the greater Sacramento area. My lady and I came here during the afternoon on Saturday 5/30/2026 at around 3:00pm. As for the exterior of building, this place offers ample parking for a couple dozen vehicles which is very convenient on the busier days. Upon entry, I was greeted by a huge jukebox (that sounded amazing) playing lots of great upbeat music; my kind of vibe when I am thrifting. The main register is near the front entrance while there are actual fitting rooms (unlike Goodwill) where you can try your clothes on before you buy. Finally, they do offer a single one-person restroom towards the mid-rear part of the building. Business hours are also quite reasonable as they are open Monday through Saturday from 9am-7pm and Sunday from 11am-7pm. The overall prices here are quite reasonable as they sell a nice assortment of men's, women's, and children's apparel all at decent prices. Here you will find quite a bit of tees, polos, blouses, pants, jeans, skirts, outerwear, ties, shoes, and much more. They also carry a nice variety of glasses, dishes, small kitchen appliances, home apparel, artificial plants, mirrors, artwork, and even larger items such as tables, recliners, curio cabinets, and bedroom/living room furniture. And for the bookworm/audiophile in all of us, this place sells quite a decent amount of books, movies (VHS/DVD), music (vinyl records/CD's). During our visit, my lady was able to make a few amazing purchases on some small accessories for her workstation as well as some nice little side pieces for the living room. Even when she took these items to the front register, they gave her a better deal which meant she left paying a lot less than she had anticipated. However, the store itself was a little bit cluttered but still easy enough to navigate around. With the above average customer service, decent selection, and very reasonable prices on much of their merchandise, I am giving the Folsom "Snowline Thrift Store" an above average four stars.

I work in the wheelchair industry, so I understand that this chair has value, however, this wheelchair also has a repair history as noted on the back of the chair. For a thrift shop that has a mission of supporting families through such difficult times, I would hope that they would make the pricing on durable medical equipment more accessible to those who truly need it. This is a custom power chair, meaning it won't be a perfect fit for whoever buys it. There would likely need to be modifications and potential repairs, which would be even more out of pocket cost for the family. Other than that, spend time looking around at what else is offered. I liked looking through the home decor.

The store is kept tidy, and the items are organized and clean. No dirty, damaged items. I like to browse the housewares and home decor to look for up-cycling projects. When they do get in full pattern dish serving sets; they bundle them up and price by item type. So they bundle the dinner plates, bowls, etc, and price those bundles. The pricing seems fair based on brand and quality. Next housewares is the book aisle. The book selection is impressive but would help with better signage on genre. They have shopping carts but some aisles, particularly the clothes racks, are narrow and accommodate one cart at a time and some coordinated efforts from other customers to maneuver about. The women's clothes are in good condition. On my last recent shopping trip, I spotted several size 6 Banana Republic jeans priced at $12.99. Current styles, great condition. Thrift shopping takes patience and calm to find the bargains and your future treasures. The donation drop off is open during shop hours. It's located in the back of the store. It's a car drive up drop off. So pack patience as well, as you wait your turn. Before you pack your car with donations, I recommend reading the website regarding what items they accept and more importantly don't accept. Plus no dumping after hours. They have security cameras.
