A gentleman did my manicure for me, I did not catch his name but he was friendly. He spent a good amount of time on all steps- filing, cuticle trimming, polishing (1 base coat, 2 color coats and 1 top coat), and massaging. Definitely spent more time observing and perfecting each nail than other places I have been to. The massage was also longer and better. I thought the salon was very clean, and I like how they use new plastic covers on the foot baths for each client. They also had a very cute puppy there named Darwin who was roaming around. I paid $50, and I believe reporting this nail salon is the right thing to do. She is overstepping her boundaries and does not deserve to continue working there. I will never go back again. Kathy, who did my manicure, was warm, friendly, and easy to chat with. During our conversation, I learned that she had taken over the business just three months before my visit, so any reviews from before then reflect the previous ownership. While I was getting my nails done, another customer arrived for her appointment and mentioned that she had been seeing Kathy for five years and followed her when she became independent at this spot. The salon itself is small, clean, and comfortable, with several manicure and pedicure stations. An old western movie played on the television in the background at a pleasant volume while I was there. My gel manicure came out beautifully, and I was very happy with the results. My pedicure was done by another technician who was also friendly and thorough. Halfway through my pedicure, Kathy even offered me a complimentary beverage, which was a very nice touch. I had an overall great first experience at this place. If my gel manicure holds up well over the next couple of weeks, I can definitely see myself becoming a repeat customer.

I was not sure that I'd be able to make that happen on a Friday afternoon with my short timeline. The person who greeted me at the door with a welcoming smile listened to my needs and indicated to me to follow her to see Kim, who was the owner. Kim said no problem, sit right there, we will take care of you, and get you out of here in time. I wish I could remember the name of the sweetest woman that was assigned to me. I am very particular about my cuticles, (not everyone does a great job with them). My cuticles have never been clipped so well! The rest of the appointment was flawless. In addition, everyone who worked there was so very pleasant and professional. I am really surprised to see a couple of negative comments about the reception. I experienced nothing like that, as a matter of fact, I would have to say that this was one of my most pleasant nail salon experiences. You will love the ambiance , the cleanliness, and the upscale vibe. And I thought the prices were very reasonable.. I'm looking forward to returning and including a pedicure next time.
