Because I'm so OCD some of the boxes they stacked wasn't very stable, they had no problem rearranging the boxes for me. Some items that were supposed to have stayed at my old house, was brought to my new home. Now I have to take it back. One of the movers used my bathroom (which isn't a problem) and forgot to flush. Overall I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to move. They are worth every penny.

I was told by Matt (one of the movers assigned to my move) that customers tell him all the time they will write a review but never come through. This may be why the lacking number of reviews. I was almost one of them but I HAD to write this review because I could be helping YOU (reading this review now) who like me, when I was in the searching phase, was unsure whether I should book with them or not. What made me choose the Home Team Moving and Delivery: the first couple of movers I wanted to initially go with both were based solely on price but they had no website, no reviews, and I just did not have a good feeling about either one especially when the first of the two did not follow through with confirmation. When I went back to the drawing board to decide who would help me with my move I was caught between Home Team and another company. The other company had comparable rates to Home Team but they expected me to provide a truck, and if I didn't, their rate nearly doubled. O_o Even though there were only three reviews I based my decision off of, the reviews seemed genuine and they were detailed enough that I believed they were by real customers, no fake accounts to boost reviews. Matt and Rory were both assigned to my move from Marietta, GA to Lithonia, GA. I was quoted a four hour move and my move was exactly four hours. Before even meeting them, I got a call the day before confirming the move and they also went over the items to be moved to ensure they provide the appropriate-sized truck. They arrived EARLY which started the move off on the right foot and it stayed that way throughout the entire move. Both movers were congenial, friendly and sociable while at the same time extremely time-cautious and efficient. I was 65-75% packed, no boxes sealed close yet (for any last-minute adds) and Matt came in saying "No problem. That's what we're here for." Recommendation for those who are planning to move: plan to start packing a week or so in advance, a couple boxes at a time. When it came time to move I wasn't stressed out at all because I had tackled a brunt of the packing. I knew where a majority of my items were. The last-minute items I had to pack, I was able to rely on my short-term memory to remember what was packed where which helped during the unpacking process. Matt and Rory took care of the rest from dismantling my king-sized bed, packing up the remainder items I had not yet packed, and emptying my entire closet with CLOTHES STILL ON THE HANGERS. I was completely stressed about this because I thought either I would have to be responsible for removing my clothes or that the movers would have required it to be off the hangers and folded. NOPE, they literally emptied my closet and unpacked it in my new location within a blink of the eye. I kept calling them magicians because they moved so fast! They also moved my ENTIRE CHEST with filled drawers. I didn't have to empty the drawers for them to be able to pack it up and move it. Side note: I must say I was concerned about my king-sized bed because I remember when it was delivered by the furniture company how much effort was taken into putting all the pieces together. But Matt and Rory handled it like the pros they are! I loved that they only charged a standard hourly rate: no hidden charges, no trip fees, no additional hour charge just because and no per mileage charge. Included within the standard hourly rate was an additional stop at Best Buy to pick up a TV while en route to Lithonia. There was another moving company that quoted me what would have been an additional charge for the Best Buy stop. Another thing I loved about them, was that they took pleasure in moving. I remember Matt responding to me apologizing for (what I thought was) ordering them around so much and he pleasantly stated "That's what we're here for." They handled my items with care, NO DAMAGE whatsoever. Even with a couple of "how can this be accomplished" circumstances i.e. being able to fit my king sized mattress up the stairs with a low-bearing ceiling, my king-sized bed frame up the stairs or my new TV atop my chest, they figured out a solution to every issue that arose. I completely trusted them and they made what can be stressful very pleasant. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, so much so I called Matt back to return for a second time to help me haul a TV upstairs after having to return the previous one I had. He was more than willing to accept with the same enthusiasm as the day of my initial move. Thank y'all for making my move a breeze. Will not hesitate to use them hands down when it comes to my moving needs in the future.

Everything went so smoothly and the group of guys have been working with Chandler moving since my first move almost 20 years ago. They really protect your things and are strong and professional and so easy to work with. I have referred them many times to family and friends and everyone has had positive experiences. The movers were friendly. Nothing was damaged. They even had to move our stuff past another truck that was in our loading dock of my building during our scheduled time. I was moving out of a high rise with max 2 bedroom apartments, so I can say they likely didn't have much more stuff than I did. I am filing this complaint against Pack It Up Moving & Storage regarding the loss of my personal…read moreproperty, poor service, property damage, and the company's failure to adequately resolve the issue. In September 2025, I hired Pack It Up Moving & Storage to move my belongings from Calhoun, Georgia. To help reduce costs and make the move more efficient, I personally packed many of my items in advance. Every box was clearly labeled on the outside according to its contents. When the movers loaded my belongings, the truck was completely full. In fact, some items could not fit on the truck, and the rear doors barely closed due to the amount of property being transported. The company then stored my belongings for approximately two months while I searched for a home to purchase. After purchasing a home in November 2025, I scheduled delivery of my belongings. The first scheduled delivery date was November 24, 2025. The company failed to show up and had to reschedule. Delivery was eventually rescheduled for November 26, 2025. When the movers arrived, I immediately noticed that the truck was not nearly as full as it had been when my belongings were originally loaded. As unloading began, I noticed that my e-bike was missing. When I questioned the movers, they claimed that I never had an e-bike. I then contacted the company's office, where I was told that my e-bike had been left near the loading ramp. This directly contradicted what the delivery crew had told me. I asked the movers for an inventory list so that I could verify that all of my boxes had been delivered. I was told that they did not have a list. As unloading continued, I began noticing additional missing items. I waited until all items had been removed from the truck before conducting a thorough review. The company also delivered a mattress that did not belong to me. I instructed the movers to take it back with them. In addition, my refrigerator was damaged during the move, and damage was caused to a wall in my home. I was forced to pay for repairs to both. After unpacking, I discovered numerous missing items, including but not limited to: Plastic Sealer Two Heat Press Machines Cricut Machine Reindeer Head Decoration Ring Doorbell Bissell Vacuum Drone Two Sets of Bar Tools Blink Indoor Camera Laser Measuring Device Exercise Bike Two Power Tools I estimate that at least ten boxes remain missing. The items listed above represent only some of the higher-value property that was never returned. I repeatedly contacted Pack It Up Moving & Storage regarding my missing belongings. Approximately six months later, the company located my exercise bike and two TV mounts. However, the majority of my missing property has never been recovered. The owner has offered only $400 in compensation despite the fact that the missing property is valued at well over $3,000. This estimate does not even include every missing item, as I intentionally focused on the higher-value property to simplify the claim. I am extremely dissatisfied with the company's handling of this matter. My belongings were supposedly stored together in a secured vault, yet numerous items disappeared and only a small portion was recovered six months later. The company has shown little concern for the significant financial loss and inconvenience I have experienced. I have been forced to spend my own money replacing items that should never have gone missing. I am requesting that Pack It Up Moving & Storage provide fair compensation for the missing property and fully address the losses and damages caused during this move. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to consumers who value the safety and security of their belongings.
