I went to this mosaic workshop and honestly, it was such an amazing experience. The space is very well equipped. They have so many colors and materials to choose from and everything is so organized. The people who work there is always walking around offering help and suggestions so you never feel lost. They also gave us mocktails and had snacks available, which made the experience even better. Everything was really good. If you like arts and crafts, this is such a fun activity. It's very relaxing, I felt so calm while working on my piece. Time definitely goes by so fast when you're focused and creating. Just a heads up, they include different mold sizes with your reservation, but if you choose a bigger one than what's included, they do charge extra. Overall, I loved it. I found this via TikTok and it was so cool! Parking lot was full, so make sure to allot time for that. The staff was very helpful and gave us solid advice for our first time. It said it would take 30 mins to an hour for something small, but we definitely took 1.5 hrs and could've stayed longer if we didn't come closer to closing time. We got a take home grout kit too. There was so many options and the grout is $15 to take home and a small coaster is $25 to mosaic. Update: I split the take home grout with my friend and we felt like it was way too much grout. I understand why they tell us to each get one but it felt like a waste because we had half of the grout left and it had to be thrown away. read more

Found this via EventBrite and was able to book a Saturday intro class. Perfect time at 2pm so not too early or too late. Arrived early to make sure I got parking, which wasn't an issue. The inside space is open and inviting with the main work area, lounge with sofa and chairs a small kitchen area with complimentary drinks (non alcoholic). Heather was the main instructor and after going over the safety and basics about mosaics she set us loose to find out substrate and materials. Their selection is fantastic! You can do sooo many things. I selected the yin/yang and did two different color of tiles. For the most part once I learned how to trim the tiles for key stone pieces it was smooth sailing. The second piece took half the time of the first. They hav a take home grout kit $15 or you can pay $25 to have them grout for you. I opted for them to grout and am awaiting a call for pick up. The pics aren't finished....bit still looks good. Can't wait to see it with the grout! I did two different grout colors soooo should be interesting. They also do open workshop hours daily so the class included an hour of open workshop in case you didn't finish in time. read more

The staff is friendly and helpful, there was a HUGE selection of supplies for our mosaics, and it was such a great place to be creative. I had advanced knowledge that I was coming here for a teambuilding event with some coworkers. That gave me plenty of time to scroll through the eight reviews that were currently here. If you plan on having an event here, they only have about 12 designated parking spaces, although I did spot a few more spaces behind the building opposite this one. The staff was fun and helpful, showing their passion for the art. Not only do they help you create your own small mosaic project, but they are very much involved with much larger projects as well. They did allow us to bring several pizzas to eat before we created our personal mosaic pieces. Our group had a great time interacting with the staff. If you're looking for something a little different to do with a dozen or so of your friends, you may wish to consider this option. read more

This was such a cool experience, and I would definitely go back. I've never done mosaics before, but the staff was so great and gave a wonderful tutorial and explained what we needed to do to make the whole process very simple. They had so many varieties of tiles to use and objects that we could mosaic. We chose the $25 option since it was our first time, so I made a coaster, and I really liked that they had examples laid out for you if you needed to use it as inspiration or as a guide. It's definitely pricey because you have to buy grout from them after you make your mosaic, which is $15 on top of the $25. I will say, with a small piece like a coaster, you can definitely get one grout and split it amongst a group of like 5 people if you're all getting the same color grout. My friend and I split a grout and we barely used any of it to finish our coasters. read more

A friend invited me to join in on this Beginners Workshop class on a Saturday afternoon. The drive out was a little long. Getting around the buildings was a little confusing. But the space inside is amazing!! The mosaics, the community, and the creative spirit...just what any art studio should be. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The Mosiac workshop is awesome! So glad I picked this place. Walking in was A bit overwhelming they have so much, the ideas are endless the options are plenty! I had NO clue what I was doing, but Heather took us in and explained everything and showed us how to use all the tools which was so easy to use. She did check on us several times. The boss was there and he was so nice as well. I did stick to the simple square shapes . But after seeing everyone else's I could have did more of. Try mosaic instead of a basic look. Went to a western themed workshop with a friend here recently to make mosaic boots. They have plenty of parking outside the building and it was easy to spot with the cooler outside, they are right next to the ceramic studio. I got there right at the class start time but they were pretty flexible to wait for majority of group to show up in case you got stuck in traffic. The studio is very clean and lots of cool pieces hanging around the space. All the different tiles are sorted into different bins so it was fun going around and collecting all the pieces. There wasn't too much instruction but the instructor was there to guide you if you had any questions. Most of it was pretty straightforward thankfully. Would definitely come back to do another class here! It's a 10/10 all around! read more

I gathered a group of GFs for a mosaic night on a Friday (instead of going out to a bar) and it was the greatest idea anyone has ever had. Seriously...I was told that about 16 times that night, so it must be true. I had worked with J previously doing a virtual event earlier in the year (which was fun and educational), but there is no substitute for in-person energy and the creativity that exudes from the music, the chatter, and the vibe of all the colors in the room. We had about 10 but I think 12 could fit nicely in the main room seated. We used a high table for snacks and beverages (cheeky adult ones, at that!), which they allow to bring in at no additional charge. J is an absolute dream. He is the perfect combo of teacher and artist. The teacher in him provides easy-to-follow instructions so you feel comfortable with the medium, and the artist in him inspires you to go just a little beyond your comfort zone (or a lot!). The basic instruction/kit is $25/person and comes with a small terrazzo and a baggie of tiles, so you can walk away with a tangible piece of decor in about two hours. If you want something more elaborate, ask J, as he has a ton more materials to incorporate if you want your group to have a broader array of options. read more
