Excellent views with a fun ambiance. Great for Happy Hour Specials. Restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly. The Guacamole was very good and the Birria sliders were full of flavor. The tap beers were nice and cold.

Tres leches

The moonstone was wonderful and delicious. We both got the Beria nachos and they were great. We also got the tres leches for dessert. For the portion size the nachos were big enough that I couldn't finish them, but my husband was able to finish his plate. There are only a few options on the menu. It is mostly drinks which we did not get. The service was super speedy and fast. They were super kind and friendly and on top of that it was the cutest little restaurant you've ever seen I love the skyline view so pretty definitely recommend I will be going back.

5 stars for the service and the drink! Bar and inside is cool. Taylor was a great bar tender. Ordered the Tugatini and was not disappointed. I typically don't like citrus forward drinks but this had a nice balance to it and it really did taste like a key lime pie dessert. Outside is cool too but the glass needs to be cleaned. It's quite dirty/smugger which takes away from it being an awesome rooftop when you're siting down and all you see is a dirty sheet of glass. Would definitely come back here if I'm staying at the graduate!

Loved this drink but can't remember what it is called.

Loved this place. This restaurant is inside a hotel called the graduate downtown Tucson. We went to the rooftop bar and it has the best view ever got there at sunset so it was perfect. Our waitress was the best the entire staff actually were extremely nice and the food well this stole the show the birria tacos were amazing. And they loaded them with birria the wings were good too but the nachos stole the show. We had a few drinks and too notch too their old fashioned was smooth definitely a place to celebrate something or someone.

Great spot in town to grab a drink and app! The Moonstone has the best view of the sunset and lots of great seating. My go-to before stoping by the bars on University blvd or for a catch-up with my friends.

To a lost friend :) !!

Pretty cool for a hotel bar ... combined with a rooftop pool I mean ... for Tucson this is great.

Menu is simple but enough

Such a great bar/grill on top of the Graduate Hotel. A simple, but nice menu. Great views. Indoor/outdoor seating. TV's for big games. Taylor was our bartender. She is super friendly and attentive. A really nice space.

Cactus Water Cocktail

The Moonstone is located on the rooftop of The Graduate Hotel. The main reason to visit this bar is for the amazing views and mountain scenery! This is an excellent spot for after work cocktails or pre-dinner drinks. As soon as we walked in we were seated and our drinks came out right away. Cocktail prices range from $14-$17 each, so they are a bit on the higher side compared to other bars in town. I enjoyed the Hibiscus Mezcalita, which had a smoky flavor. I also tried the Cactus Water, but did not enjoy that drink as much. They have tons of different seating arrangements from equipale chairs, couches, hanging swing chairs, a bar area, and a really nice outdoor area with fire-pit tables. They do have a limited selection of food items, however I did not try any this visit. A couple of disclaimers to note, the tables were not super clean during my visit. They also did not provide drink coasters or napkins. Lastly, parking can be a little tricky and often requires meter parking nearby. Again, the views still make this a place to visit.

Such an amazing time! Loved the drinks, the view and the food. Definitely coming back again

Rooftop bar in Downtown Tucson? Yes sir! Really chill vibe...especially for a Saturday afternoon with all the students getting on campus to start the year. Great food. Had the shrimp ceviche and street tacos. Great seating inside at the bar or cool seating out on the deck that we couldn't enjoy today but if we come back down in the fall with definitely do sitting on the deck.

Came for a view of the sunset along with drinks, The Moonstone did not dissapoint and was recommended by a local friend We ordered a couple of cocktails and they were all tasty and refreshing, and considering it's a rooftop bar, not overly priced which is appreciated

I had only been here for some yoga classes and finally got to really enjoy this place! First of all, you can't beat the view! You pretty much have 360 (almost) view of Tucson and who wouldn't like to watch the sunset from here!!??! Service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and super friendly. They have amazing drinks!! I would love to try all of their special cocktails one day! I tried their Gila Monster cocktail and it was so refreshing!! Food is pretty good as well!

It ain't pretty.... When you walk through the front door, you're greeted by the scents of stale cigarette smoke and Fabuloso. The decor is something out of the mid 60's. It's a very fun, unpretentious place. Good service, fun drinks and a great escape from our crazy world. Check it out!

It's kitsch and offbeat, maybe even offputting if you think too hard about the legacy of that family, but it's anything but boring. What I love: They're big on doing their own infusions. You absolutely must try Pam's Spicy Lemonade--Hornitos with thai chili and mint. I've also had coffee-infused liquors here before that you'll rarely find anywhere else. I'm not a smoker, but I get stoked for their enclosed smoking patio with a couple old arcade cabinets (I like Centipede!) What I like: There are like, really cheap simple cocktails with the creativity to make some unappealing, bottom shelf liquors taste palatable. Those aren't my usuals, but I'm always intrigued. I will shamelessly have a couple $3 High Lifes. There's only one big bar in the center of the lobby, but service is generally fast. It's dimly lit and can be tightly packed, but you'll still have fun. Good for date night or groups of four or less. No food, but once in a blue moon you'll find a truck parked out front. Overall, a solid Tucson staple.

It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day

We were greeted by a giant statue of a unicorn zebra and of course took a selfie. We then went to the bar area and absolutely loved the dark speakeasy vibes. Burk, the handsome man with a shiny head, was at the bar. He handed us a drink menu that contained fun drink names like Death of a Unicorn. The drinks tasted good and had a lovely presentation. Mine even came in a zebra mug. We also learned that this bar has both an upstairs and downstairs area. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and headed home. This place left such an impression that we have been back two times since. On another occasion we had Nate the bartender. He had a lovely personality and accommodated all of the guests that came in near closing. We enjoyed Santa's Banana Hammock and Unicorn Ski Accident. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem. I look forward to seeing where this place goes. It has a ton of potential for special events with the basement area. P.s. It's also a boutique hotel. You could always book a room and enjoy dreams downstairs without having to drive

We came here because we wanted to play pool one night and Pockets had a tournament going on. We were originally 3 out of the 5 people in the bar (one bartender and one other dude who may or may not have worked there- but kept going into the back room). It was SO quiet which I found oddly unsettling lol. The only way there would be any sound other than our voices was to pay money to play music ourselves and I dropped way too much money to keep it going while we were there. Next, the bartender was odd to us...In some weirdly pretentious way. To be fair, we all do look young and people tend to treat us as such when we go out. However, he was so condescending about everything. I asked for a drink and he corrected me on how to order it-but not in a helpful way? More like he was annoyed with me. I turned 21 almost 15 years ago. I order the same drinks and have never been told that a bartender doesn't understand what I'm asking for- even if I don't use the proper bartending terminology. My roommate asked for a vodka redbull and the bartender made some weird comment about this not being one of our "hipster bars" like ??? I drink vodka red bulls in literal biker bars. We prefer smaller, low-key bars. It was such a strange and judgmental thing to say. He basically talked to US as if we thought we were too good for that place? Idk it's really hard to explain. But it left a horrible taste in our mouths. A couple came in a while before we left and seemed to be friends of the bartender- which somehow made the vibe even more uncomfortable. It's as if they all wanted us to leave. It's so weird to make your literal ONLY paying patrons feel so awkward and unwelcome. Dude needs a serious attitude adjustment. The a-hole bartender theme is out dated. That's just bad business. It's one thing to be busy and short with people when you're serving a full bar; that's usually expected, but you don't have to be a jerk to the only three people in the place lol.
