Went to the monument today ordered a 20oz med rare ribeye couldn't wait for it been dreaming of steak all day! Waited about an hour just to get it only 1 other table in the place. Get it ate my asparagus was great a little under cooked but that's the way I like it, cut into the steak well over med on its way to being well done but I though ok at least take a bite maybe it won't be bad I WAS WRONG! Not only was it over done but it had a burnt taste. When I told the waitress she was like "Yeah, I know sorry, we can make another one." I told her we waited almost an hour for the first round I dont have time. Her only response was "Yeah sorry" So paid $40 for a steak to take home to the dogs!!!!! We will NEVER EVER go back! Sad thing is we go there almost everytime we are in town and are really good tippers and have no problem paying for good food! read more

New York strip had a bone in it. And overpriced. Potato's were cold. Bird nest was over cooked. Philly steak was more like a French nip without dip. Given too many chances and all were bad. read more

We have been here numerous times for lunch and dinner. We have always had good consistent food - our go to restaurant !

Would go 3.5 if I could. It all comes down to service. Food is usually pretty consistently good, but the service is hit or miss.

Good food post golf. Usually out of whatever my first choice would have been. Been there 3 times, liked what I had. Golf course is great!

Great service by Mariah who was just 13 days old in this place. Good for vegetarians. Loved my cauliflower crust veggie pizza. Kudos to the chef who was holding the fort down. read more

The food was terrible. Soggy sandwiches - the cook obviously doesn't know how to make a Monte Cristo. Service was slow to the point I nearly walked out without paying. This is my second bad experience here and I'll never be back. read more

I ordered the chef's salad. A little bit of lettuce, ham, Turkey and a little egg. No cheese, onions or croutons. Not to mention, it's in a small salad bowl. My friend got a $4 side salad in the same bowl and it was more salad than I got in my Chef's salad for$10. The waitress couldn't even tell us what the salad dressing choices were. I asked if they had a balsamic dressing, she checked, came back and said they did and brought me a straight cup of balsamic vinegar. No oil or anything else. It took us almost 2 hours because the food was so slow and it wasn't busy at all. I wouldn't do it again. Plus the air conditioning is cranked so high, it's freezing. I've been here a couple times in the past. I'll be focusing on my recent visit though. Food was very good. Prices are about what you'd expect. Slightly more than an average restaurant but worth it. Atmosphere is laid back and also slightly upscale. Location is nice and secluded so it's almost forgotten about sometimes. They also have Scarpino's pizza to order. Service here was good but could be a bit more attentive/friendly. Did have a slight wait to get our menus and ended up grabbing them ourselves. We were so excited to try this place for Valentine's dinner and, unfortunately, were very underwhelmed. Our waitress was very nice and attentive; however, the food was severely under seasoned. My steak was over cooked, my husband's fish was over cooked and dry, our drinks were weak, to the point of wondering if there was any alcohol in them. I asked for any kind vegetable as a side to my ribs and the waiter looked like he had never heard of vegetables. I ended up with inedible wilted asparagus. This is a golf course restaurant. We stopped here after hiking Scottsblufff. No precautions were being made for Covid. No staff wore masks and there was no distancing in seating. Food was okay. Ordered posted special but it was the day befores special. Ordered a chicken wrap and a chicken Caesar salad. Entree and side salad are same size--large for a side, small for an entree. Wrap was good. Caesar salad was ok. Service was slow but nice. View made the meal. read more

I was impressed with the size of this place. I decided to sit at the bar. A nice menu pizza also included, which looked very good. I just went with the special for the night which was prime rib. Got a nice whiskey drink and ordered. They asked if I wanted a salad which I found out later was extra, large and crisp. My entree arrived which was very large portion. I did order medium rare, I thought it might be right since wait time was minimal. I dive in only to find it not only was over cooked, but very tuff. I was very disappointed paying extra for the salad about 10 bucks and a over done 20 dollar entree. I would go back but not for the prime rib they need some learning for that. Well went back to give them a second chance had pizza and a green chili burger. After 56 dollars do not bother. read more

The Monument Grill has got the best damn pizza I've ever had. Valhalla, which is a meat lovers pizza on steroids, Fried chicken which has mashed potato's and gravy on it. Taco, Cheeseburger, Chicken Alfredo, And Mac & Cheese that comes with Brisket. This place is legit. It's a must. The Steak Nachos app will get you full before the pizza even gets out. And always the wait staff is great! read more

We went here Sunday After church to celebrate my cousins birthday. I found out it had a brunch and there hasn't been a brunch at a place in this town for a while that I knew of. I was excited because I thought the restaurant would be good at this golf course. Wrong!! I have never had anything that tasteles and cold even the prim rib was tasteless plus the rub was so salty you couldn't even eat it. The only thing good was the salad and French toast. And it costs over $24 a plate. And even for senior it was still $19.99. Never going there again!!! read more

The drinks were good the salad was ok the steak was cooked correctly but the mixed vegetables were the frozen type and were over cooked.

We had not been here for dinner since the new ownership, but we gave it a whirl tonight. We are glad we did. The place was busy but not too full. We were seated and the server was attentive all night. The food was delicious. I had the pecan smoked ribs and my wife had the chicken parm. Sad to say we had a very bad experience here because we were all rather excited to check it out. We had six in our party, and half of our meals were cold. My father, whose Birthday we were celebrating had cold mixed vegetables and the toughest steak he'd had in years. My brother ordered the ribs and they tasted like beef jerky (really, he made us all taste it). Everyone who had french fries as a side received lukewarm fries. NOW... we can get past all of that because we are a nice group of people, BUT THE WAY THE MANAGER TREATED MY FATHER WAS SICKENING. He wanted to let her know about the problems with the food because any good manager would want to make sure the cooks knew and didn't repeat the mistake, but instead she made us feel as though we were trying to get a free meal. We all work hard and have good jobs so our last concern was the cost of the bill. I think my father was humiliated by her reaction, and was very quiet for the rest of the night. It was his 60th birthday, such a shame. To the snotty manager, karma is going to have fun with you. You have a poor attitude, and have no business is hospitality.
