It's more like the food I grew up eating. I love that the enchiladas are made with corn tortillas and the sauce is thick, flavorful and smothers the enchiladas. The beans and rice are always great and taste like they were freshly made. The carne asada is the best! It's great in tacos, burritos, or just on a plate. I haven't tried it on fries, but it seems like it's a pretty popular dish. The pico and guac that come with it are so good too. The adobada is pretty tasty too! The peeps that run this place are so incredibly nice and hard working. They treat you like a guest in their house, they make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. I love it! Cheers!

When our order was ready, he pulled his hands straight out of the dirty dishwater, didn't dry them or wash them first, and immediately picked up our plates to bring them to our table. That was very unsanitary and made us uncomfortable. On top of that, he didn't greet us when he dropped off the food, and after we thanked him, he didn't even acknowledge us or say "you're welcome." I also noticed the cooks in the kitchen preparing food without wearing gloves the entire time we were there. While gloves aren't always legally required if proper handwashing is followed, after seeing how our food was handled, it definitely didn't inspire confidence in the restaurant's hygiene practices.
