It was cooked perfectly and extremely fresh and coconut-y! We had Bloody Mary's and had a choice of regular spicy or spicier spicy. We both got the regular spicy and it was exactly that, no complaints. We enjoyed the ambience of the place, which I would classify as small town. It had televisions and a pool table and souvenir t-shirts for sale. I could see watching a Husker game there would be fun.

Chimney Rock is about a half hour away in the morning and bathed in sunlight. Scotts Bluff is maybe another 15 minutes from there. From the bluff, you can keep following the trail to Ft. In fact, the dining area can be subdivided into at least 3 separate dining areas for multiple groups. Our dinner was very nice, and breakfast was the classic - bacon, eggs, coffee, & hashbrowns. The inside is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and the service was warm and genuinely friendly from the moment we walked in. One thing to note for travelers: our GPS told us we had arrived about a block too early. If that happens to you, just keep going to the next stoplight. The restaurant will be on your right. Now for the food...it was outstanding! My husband ordered the pancakes, bacon, and eggs, and he said they were the best pancakes he's ever had. I had the veggie omelet with hash browns, and they were absolutely incredible. Without a doubt, they were the best veggie omelet and the best hash browns I've ever eaten. We travel quite a bit and love discovering locally owned restaurants, and this one is a true gem. If we're ever back in Alliance, we'll definitely stop here again. Five stars all the way!

We still had 3 hours on the road so we chose food that we could manage in the car. The chicken quesadilla was bursting with chicken, cheese and green chilis with golden cheese toasted on top. The cheese burger was hand patties and grilled to perfection. Even the crinkle fries, which I typically don't like, were seasoned and cooked just rug he. The open face steak sandwich was not a wise choice for the car as it was a legit piece of meat smothered in onions but the whole family needed to try a bite. And the onion rings--so good!
