I would stay away from this dive bar. At least do yourself a favor and do not eat anything from that kitchen. I am trying to tell you.

Saw this bar from the street. I'm from California and thought I'd stop in and have a quick drink. Walked in and noticed that it was locals but most people are friendly around here. The bartender stood in front of me cutting limes and never looked at me once. She refused to serve me. 2 guys walked in and she knew them and immediately served them. This bar has some of the strangest rules I have seen. I attempted to enter with my significant other, who was turned down because 2 forms of identification were not given. In my many years of attending bars, none have required this. The manager was being extremely difficult as well, as my person had a photo of another source of identification which was not recognized. I would not reccomend this bar because although you would bring your main drivers license with you, you probably wouldn't get in unless you carried more forms of identification with you, as most Americans would not. read more

We came here for post-wedding drinks. It was fun! There was a $10 cover as there was a band that night. We got drinks & a late night piece of pizza. I don't know if it's the drinks talking, but the pizza was great! I had the curious george with pepperoni & banana peppers. The band was good. The place was a lot larger than I expected. There are pool tables and a game area with some arcade games and fooseball. We played a round of fooseball. Bartenders were busy but quick. It's a really fun spot and I'd definitely go back. Best bar for a beer mug and some tasty pizza! Stopped by yesterday for their 6 o clock free drink and of course some pizza. Pretty busy crowd wasn't sure if we were getting our free drink at 6. Then the bartender came around and gave us little monkeys as beer tabs. So cute and funny. We played some shuffleboard and ping pong to finish our last drinks. I ordered two drinks for me and my friend. I specifically asked for vodka seagram's or Tito's on ice. I took 1 sip and there was club soda in it so I asked them to remake it. At which point they called security over and kicked us out. We didn't break anything we didnt yell or make a scene but I was charged for two drinks I didnt want. This place is absolutely gross!!! We came here on a Sunday and it was empty!!! Floor, everywhere, was sticky!!! If you stood for more than 1 minute in one spot it was hard to pick up your foot!!! Every hear of bar rescue!!! Waitress was a smart a@@!! Mentioned sticky floor and she said it was their floor cleaner!!! Really!!! What do you mop the floor with beer and piss!! Divey bar with plenty of bar games, drinks and usually a band playing ska/reggae vibes. We hit this place up every year and sit around and drink until we are buzzed enough to either start playing games or dancing like kooks. This place def has a jungle- monkey Caribbean theme about it. The food and service gets 5 stars for sure. However, the bartender is awful and clearly was never trained correctly. My dad ordered crown on the rocks and she upcharged him for the rocks pour then only poured 1.5 ounces......anyone who knows anything about bartending knows that 1.5 ounces is a single shot not a rocks pour. I had a good time there on a recent Saturday night. I opened up a tab, spent 19 bucks on drinks and then tipped three bucks when I signed my slip at the end of the night. The next Tuesday night (the night before payday) I get an alert from my bank that my checking account is overdrawn. A second 10 dollar charge went through at this bar that I hadn't authorized. I'm hoping this is just some strange tab opening policy they have at this bar (it doesn't happen to my card at other bars), but regardless, I don't like charges going through on my card that I'm unaware of. If this hasn't sorted itself out by the time I get up in the morning, I intend to go to my bank to challenge the charge. read more
