They had an appraisal added in my loan which I paid $1000 for my appraisal out-of-pocket. That thousand dollars that I paid I was told by Steven and Justin that it would be paid the day of closing. It was not now they have my number blocked and cannot get in touch with them and no one is responding to my messages. I would not recommend using that team. I'm sure turbo mortgage is great, but these guys go around and round in circles and are not very professional.

The property has been doing great and accumulating lots of equity over the years, but I wasn't quite satisfied with the other property management company I was using at the time. A few years ago I switched over to using Marshall Reddick for property management, and they have been extremely proactive in maintaining all aspects of my property, from tenant coordination to maintenance/repairs and everything in between. I still check my statements and invoices, but my confidence in the team's ability to manage my property means I don't need to go over every line-item and check for mistakes, which is something I've had to do with property managers in the past. Everyone on the team has been super responsive with email communication which is very important to me as a landlord. Whenever there is a maintenance or tenant-related decision to be made, someone from the management team presents me with clear-cut options in a timely manner. I rarely have to do my own research because someone from the team already has, and this means I don't have to spend time looking into something that's outside my wheelhouse. I can totally rely on them to get the job handled. Aside from the Round Rock property, I also have a property in Phoenix that I purchased through Marshall Reddick in 2011 and I'm happy to say that both properties are still doing excellent! The amount of equity that they have appreciated is astounding all on its own, and the monthly cash flow I'm receiving is a great addition to my passive income. Speaking of passive income, I've also been participating in private lending through Marshall Reddick, earning interest on a handful of loans that I've been the noteholder on. We have rats in the dryer due to their being no vent covers in the house (per the person they sent) now they say it's our issue. We went 3 weeks without laundry because the electrical panel was rusted and the breaker caused the whole house to lose power multiple times. It takes weeks to get updated, if you get any at all. Never rent a property with them, you'll be living with leaks, mold and rats . They also sent the most unqualified people to try and fix things.
