Tasty lunch that felt both cozy and slightly upscale. I got a Fisherman's Stew which was warming and hearty, but not heavy. Also beautifully presented. And split a couple of cookies with friends. Really enjoyed the ginger cardamom one! If hungry, I would recommend getting a couple items (like pick 2 between their soups, salads, and sandwiches). The portions were on the smaller end.

During a heat wave: Hands down best ajo blanco soup and matcha lemonade of my life. FLAVORFUL! Got the (new to the menu) $14 cherry tomato salad.... amazing! Would get again and again. The Indian family next to us asked our advice and I exuberantly said to get the tomato salad as well, which has Indian spices in it, and they loved it and said how excellent it was too! Also great service should be mentioned.

Easily one of the prettiest and most historic coffee shops I've been to! I opted for their vanilla bean oat milk latte, which was absolutely wonderful. I went shortly after open, so selection of pastries was abundant as well as wait time being short and quick. The service was great, but the deck and dock as the sun rose over Crystal River, which the Mill sits on, was just a perfect peaceful pairing for my morning sip. Thank you, and I cannot wait to be back!

Absolutely best dinner experience! From the service to the incredible food and ambiance. Our table of 7 had the asparagus salad, cucumbers, scallops, duck meat balls, hash browns, sweet potato, a burger and a few orders of the teres major. For dessert we finished with the cheesecake, dark chocolate and the sourdough ice cream. Everything was nice and light with fresh ingredients. Each dish was made with thoughtful and cohesive flavors. I can't wait to come back. This will be a new staple in our annual trip to Glen Arbor.

We loved the setting. The crystal river is beautiful and the historic building has been restored perfectly! I am so thrilled this old building has been saved! Now the food... it was delicious but it was super expensive. We ordered two sandwiches for a whooping $41.00. The sandwiches were delicious but a bit over our lunch budget. I would have loved a flavored iced tea or a soda of some type but the options were limited to coffee, wine, or a couple of juices. We opted for water. The sandwiches were premade meaning we could not remove any items. The bread was fresh baked and delicious. Overall it was a good stop but expensive.

We stopped for lunch on a snowy Tuesday, and were greeted warmly in the cafe. The owners have preserved much of the old mill, including original beams, walls, and flooring. The person behind the counter explained the lunch setup, and answered all our newby questions patiently. The lunch menu offers some old favorites as well as novel selections. I had the Gruyère, collards, and mushroom sandwich, served hot. There is wine by the glass on offer, as well as beer. I had a rioja which was a good pairing for the sandwich. Speaking of which, the sandwich was super yummy and enormous. I'm a big eater and I couldn't finish it. When we come back in the summer we'll be back to The Mill for dinner.

Horrid staff. Below average food. Coffee and treats in morning over priced. Vegetables were fresh though

But, after staying in the area for a week, we learned everything is pricy up here lol. After passing it up, the owner of the tea shop recommended GHG, so we took our hanger here, and I'm glad we did. It was fun and unexpected when choosing a salad dressing they bring you the entire bottle, even if you're the only person at your table using that kind of dressing. Pros: Chill vibes Good wine list Excellent quality of food. The whitefish was better prepared than what I had in Leland! Cons: Just the price. Was a high quality meal, and the price reflected that. All in all, Good Harbor Grill has amazing fresh, in season food that is worth it!

There was a 15-minute wait, but after 5 minutes, I was quickly seated. I enjoyed sitting outside under the shade while looking at the menu. Our server was very friendly, if not a bit stretched thin. She was running all over the place and was very apologetic, so it didn't bother me too much. She at least tried her best and came over several times to check in. Our orders were taken and the food took a bit, but again, it was very busy. The food was good. Prices were a bit much, but this is Glen Arbor. Great ambiance with live music, out side seating, with a great breeze. But the food just doesn't bring it! I ordered a simple burger Med Rare. Server said it may come out med. I said ok as long as it is not dry! Well it came out very dry. When I told Zack he apologized and said he would take it off the bill - We had 8 people drinking, so we had a big bill - but it was not taken off. I know only mention the burger but, the chips and guacamole the chips were old. Noone at table was excited about food. So, if you have patience and can live with mediocre food this is the place.

With its elegant…read moresetting and abundant windows featuring Lake Michigan views, it makes for a memorable evening. The daily menu was crammed with the best local foods and in August when we visited that meant cherries, luscious vine ripened tomatoes, blueberries and more. In fact I hard a hard time narrowing down even the 4 salads as they all sounded fantastic as did the 10 appetizers. In the end we opted to share some things starting with the light crab "puffs" (really golf-ball-sized crab/rice cakes) which were delicious although a bit light on the accompanying sauce. Next we savored the small summer salad made with juicy dark purple tomatoes, fresh basil and slivers of mozzarella. Our entree was the pecan crusted white fish that was also nicely prepared. Note they add a somewhat outrageous charge for a split plate-around $16, so our fish ended up costing $66! For dessert we chose the turtle sundae festooned with crunchy toasted pecans and a house made caramel sauce. There's a nice wine list too. Service here was top notch with constantly filled water glasses and a very professional staff. I was really pleased and surprised to find a restaurant of this quality located in a tiny vacation hamlet. Highly recommended

While we love great food, we are not "foodies" who do well with super modern/unique takes on classics - and after perusing many menus of different restaurants in the area, we felt like Blu was the right mix of fancy but delicious and classic and we were not disappointed! Pro tip: book a reservation and look when sunset is - we did the 8pm seating with the sun setting around 9-9:30 and if was amazing. They have see through blinds, but raise them up for the sunset and many people walk out to go take a picture on the beach right outside! It's a small intimate restaurant, so in general booking a reservation is advised. The gnocchi was amazing and so flavorful with sun dried tomatoes and succulent shrimp. My spouse got the lamb and really enjoyed the garlic and sauce Robert- and was so happy that it wasn't traditional mint sauce with lamb. The scallops were extremely rich with the asparagus risotto. We did split a crème brûlée which was just okay (maybe a bit too eggy in the texture?) , but they do use real vanilla bean and overall we were stuffed at that point. They have an extensive wine list, cocktail list, and mocktail list which I appreciated as a lady on her baby moon trip :) best Shirley temple I've ever had with real homemade grenadine made from real cherries! Staff is attentive, kind, and always checking to make sure you're taken care of. Overall, yes it's pricey, but for the delicious food, view, overall fanciness - I think it's justified and worth it for a special occasion! We would love to come back in the future.

At about 14 a2 to $15 apiece this is one of the rare exceptions where it is a good value because you will get two meals out of each sandwich. We ordered a Tripoli (ham, turkey, salami, and provolone, lettuce, and tomato) and a Gaza ( curried chicken, lettuce, tomato, shredded carrot, and peas) both on rye bread. Both sandwiches were made with high-quality ingredients and we would definitely recommend either of them.
