This place was absolutely delicious! We were just passing by when we spotted it and decided to give…read moreit a try--and we're so glad we did. We ordered the BBQ rib entrée with coleslaw, garlic mashed potatoes, and a Hawaiian roll, and everything was excellent. We also tried the two-meat combo with brisket and tri-tip, along with mac and cheese, beans, and a roll. That was just as delicious! What really stood out was the staff. They were some of the kindest and most helpful people we've ever encountered while dining out. They took the time to explain how ordering worked and were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Such a hidden gem. We'll definitely be back!

I made the drive specifically for the highly recommended BBQ, but they were out of tri-tip. No big deal, so I ordered the brisket then about 20 minutes later found out they'd run out of that too. Huge disappointment, but there were some large parties ahead of us, so I get it (I only wish I hadn't waited 20+ mins to find out). I ended up with the spicy chicken sandwich, which had good flavor, but I drove there for BBQ and unfortunately came up short. I'll make the trip back eventually and hopefully get to try what I came for, then adjust my rating accordingly. To their credit, they gave us peach cobbler for the trouble. I'm not a dessert guy and would've never ordered it, but it was legit. I ate some then took it home, threw some vanilla ice cream on it, and let the kids handle the rest.

I'm not sure you'll be able to see exactly how disgusting the floor was in my picture, but I will post it. I can't believe that they are so busy, all day long, that they don't have 5-10 minutes to clean the floor at any point during the day! Based on how hard my roll was, I can't believe that it is busy at all! You'll see in my video that I'm actually knocking on the table with my roll. The workers seemed overwhelmed by the number of orders and there was some crazy guy in there talking to himself the whole time while I was waiting. I'm not mad about that, but it didn't help the whole experience. Don't think I'll forget how horrible it was this time. Good thing my sub was free because I'd be really pissed if I had actually paid money for it. Actually I guess I kind of did pay for it since I used my bonus points to get this sub. Definitely don't eat here. If you do decide to try it, look at the floor behind the counter before you place your order. Pretty sure the health department would shut them down. If I had seen a manager I would've told him, but unfortunately I did not. I always like to give businesses a chance to fix stuff, but I had the exact same experience the last time I was in here, but this time it was much worse. For the price you pay for a sandwich there, they need to do better. Clean the floor. Bake fresh bread. Do better Jersey Mikes. You just lost a customer for good.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. It was as if we were regulars. And service speedy. The cafe itself was very cozy with all the different types of radios on the shelves. But my favorite decoration were the giant spoon and fork in the patio. They remind me of my grandma's home. The door to the patio had a corvette back above it. I just love little bits of decor that makes a place feel like home. The food was amazing and the price was even better! I ordered the rib eye with eggs and let me tell you it was more than we expected. My steak was cooked to perfection and it to mention the size of the platter! Well worth the price. And the fact that you have other options and not just toast, like biscuits and gravy or pancakes without the extra charge. That's a surprise in this economy. The Hubby ordered the Ireland skillet. And that skillet was fully loaded! There was a good ratio from corned beef to potatoes to eggs to veggies that would make a perfect bite with every scoop. We will definitely be back to Main Street Cafe real soon!

The French toast was delicious, perfectly cooked, and loaded with fresh strawberries. The mimosa was another highlight. It was generously sized (which I definitely appreciated!) and the perfect complement to brunch. The service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!
