OK, so I am not a big complainer. I am really easy-going, and not a lot of things bother me. I probably left five reviews in my entire life. I come here a lot, and the staff is always really awesome. There's not a lot of options for lunch in Bonsall, so I end up here often for a lot of my lunch breaks. There is a new girl working today, or at least I just haven't seen her before, and the sandwich was made just fine, but i watched her go back-and-forth from the cash register back to making sandwiches without changing her gloves... I should have said something, but I didn't want to make any sort of fuss. But now it's all i can think about. Please change your gloves when handling the computer/cash register/ money, and then handling food. Again, she was very nice, quick and helpful, i had no problem with her service or the sandwich, it's just the cross contamination gloves issue! read more

Tired to order on app for either pick up or delivery and EVERY KIND OF BREAD is out. No one comes to subway for a wrap or salad. I tried calling the store to see if i could physically come order a sandwich but they never answered. Communication has always been bad at this location. I ask a bout a Footlong deal, i get attitude, i ask about a sidekick, i get attitude. I know y'all got at least multigrain bread you just can't handle the capacity of online orders. Okay so to me all Subway's are about the same but what's different here is the customer service. The manager Brooke is very friendly, down to earth and smiles. The other employees are pretty nice but not really like Brooke. The food is pretty being it's a subway and the prices are pretty good. I usually get a black forest ham foot long but I want to try the breakfast too because the menu looks good. I like how they have other options besides sandwiches like salads, breakfast and soup. If you fill out a survey from your receipt you will get a free cookie. My favorite cookie so far is the double chocolate chip. I like this subway and I will continue to come back. read more

I do really like this location, as it's conveniently near the post office and other stores, and it's one of the few fast food restaurants in the area. Of the Subway stores in my travel paths, this is one of my favorites. It's normally clean and neat, and the wait is usually short to average compared to most places I go. A week ago, we placed an online order for a large group. The order was on-time, exactly what we ordered, and packaged carefully-they even labeled the sandwiches so we didn't have to play the sandwich guessing game. Also, the food tasted great! These guys get it right, they can follow the instructions from customers conveyed via the app, always have the drink I want, cold in the cooler, and and have friendly staff. I'll just come here from nearby Oceanside until the one on College undergoes some sort of complete rebirth. read more

Was not a fan. Ordered the sub of the day with mozzarella cheese. Informed me it was extra,, never told how much. Asked for tomatoes was told they were out of tomatoes, I asked for comped mozzarella, all of the sudden they found tomatoes in the back. My $9.69 sandwich of the day was a disappointment. You'd be better off making your own sandwich at home I typically have no issues at this location and when/if I get bad customer service I shrug it off. Today unfortunately is a different story...... This location closes at 9pm. When I arrived it looked as if they were closing so I tried to be in and out. The girl working rolled her eyes when I opened the door and didn't greet me or say hello. I should've known by her cold shoulder body language to RUN! I asked her to make a sweet onion teriyaki sandwich that would've taken her all of 5 mins to make, no big deal right? As she's making the sandwich I let her know it didn't look right and she tried to assure me that's how it's made. I wasn't assured and was gonna just suck it up and eat it anyway. After she threw the sandwich down on the counter after toasting it, she put the toppings on that I asked for. No big deal. I then again asked her for the correct sauce but on the side. She said "I work here and this is how the sandwich is always made. I know how to make it." Snooty brat I'm not an idiot and when a customer notifies you of an incorrect order, you make it right. I told her I can just walk out and not get the sandwich if she couldn't make it correctly. "You can do whatever you like" was her response as she turned her back to me. She then began arguing with me and I told her to I don't want the effing sandwich and walked out. Maybe she should be sent back to sandwich making 101 and be grateful she even has a job during the pandemic. I will never be back to this location with that absurd behavior. read more

Honestly this location is absolutely inconsistent . More than a Handful of times myself and my family have been disappointed. Many instances of mistakes on sandwiches, not following portion guides for salads, and big mistakes on expensive catering orders. Although there is good response from management to rectify situations, there's only so many times you can deal with mistakes until you give up. Wow six months later we decide to go back after a horrible experience (read Below) and they are out of bread again! I am dumb founded how that happens! Time for new Managers all the way up the chain. This is a hole in the wall location with no bathroom and no bread. Can not find a reason to come back ever again! Remodeled the store but not its practice. The problem with this Subway is that they find any reason they can to close early. Several times I have gone there as early as 7 or 8 only to find a sign on the door stating that they were closed early for this reason or that. Tonight the reason was that there was construction being done in the parking lot. Yet all the other stores around them were open.
