Hits so good after a night out! Love that they stay open late. Their mushroom Swiss burger came out hot, moist, and umami-flavored. Their prices are kind of high but the portion size on the meat is pretty hefty.

The bread could have been left on the grill longer; it should have been darker than this. Light to dark brown would have been perfect. Other than this absolutely delicious steak sandwich, 4 sure, the shake too. Easy on the wallet. Service was great; parking not so great. Will return even for only the mac and cheese. 2 kiosks.

I came here for lunch during a weekday, as I was craving a burger. Street or lot parking, so plan ahead. The place seems fairly new and was clean. It wasn't too busy yet, and you order at the counter and they give you a little vibrating alarm that goes off when your order is ready. We ordered a patty melt, original burger, and the cheddar bacon ranch fries. The patty melt was just ok, it seemed a bit small and kind of dry. Certainly wasn't the best i had, but not the worst. I definitely enjoyed the original burger more, and it had a good amount of cheese, and pretty good flavor. We also enjoyed the cheddar bacon ranch fries, I would highly reccomend them. The bacon was good, and they used real bacon, not bacon bits. They add lots of gooey cheese as well. There's a Ghirardelli right next door to the restaurant if you also want some ice cream for dessert. I'd definitely check this place out for lunch if your nearby.

The Melt food was delicious! My first time coming here and it was an experience. Love the way one can customize their burger. Service was friendly, nothing too much that stood out, but sometimes that is a good thing. Ambience was SD vibe. Two restrooms is cool too.

Decent, the restaurant itself was super humid and hot, so it wasn't enjoyable to eat inside. The garlic fries were really good, my classic burger was SUPER salty, and my husband's Mac and cheese was alright.

This place smacks . Me and my boyfriend were craving a late night eat and this place popped up . I decided on the grilled cheese with fries and Diet Coke . They have the option to order via kiosk or at the register . We placed our order got our buzzer and waited for it to go off . It took less than 10 minutes to receive our food . The grilled cheese defentilty hit all the marks as far as cheesiness and the crust was super yummy . The fries had the perfect crispness. Overall I enjoyed this place . I would be back . There is plenty of seating as well upstairs and downstairs .

Not bad, but everyone in our crew agreed the Melt is fairly overrated. No issues with the service and the environment was cool, tucked away in downtown but the burgers lacked flair. Certainly hot and melty, but missed with the flavor. Lots of burgers around town I'd try before deciding on here but you'll still get a decent bite.

LATE NIGHT BURGER FIX: I came here after a local recommended it to me. Good burger. If you're looking for a decent burger, you'll find it here. The decor is pretty basic, similar to a fast food spot. It's really all about the food, and they're open late, which makes it an easy stop after a long day. You can tell they have a strong local following. It's on the pricey side, but that's San Diego for you.

I was initially going to give a 2 star review, but after spending 2 days hunched over in pain with frequent diarrhea and discomfort, I'd give zero stars if I could. Thanks to eating lunch here, I spent the majority of New Years Eve running in and out the bathroom. For starters, the service was dismal and the people behind the counter seemed annoyed that I wanted to order. When I tried the food, I felt like the burger desperately needed more sauce.... and cheese. You would think with a name like "The Melt" this place would have a glorious cheese pull when biting into the food. Welp, no such luck. Burger was just a hunk of meat lacking anything resembling delicious eats with a $43 price tag for 2 burgers. I will never eat here again. I was sick to my stomach for days and spent what was supposed to be an incredible start to the New Year in the bathroom.

Ordered delivery from The Melt and unfortunately the experience didn't match the price point. We spent over $90 on the order, which included multiple burgers and fries. The burgers arrived noticeably soggy, likely from being boxed while still hot with no ventilation. The buns were soft to the point of falling apart, which really took away from the overall quality--especially for burgers that are meant to highlight melted cheese and texture. On top of that, the order arrived with no utensils, napkins, or condiments included at all. For a delivery order of this size and cost, those basics should be standard, or at least confirmed. Flavor-wise, the burgers were decent, but presentation and execution matter--particularly when charging premium prices. This might be better enjoyed dine-in, where freshness and proper setup are more controlled, but as a delivery experience, it was disappointing for what we paid.

Came here for a late night dinner. Enjoyed it but it's definitely a bit of a greasy spoon drunk meal type of place rather than a cleaner fast casual restaurant that they tried to achieve. The ordering POS system the customers have to use felt a bit wonky. Definitely convenient late at night, but would not be my first choice during Moore typical dining hours.

Wooow-- I did not expect to love their burgers so much! Perfect amount of cheese, great cook on it and flavor, the bread delicious. My hard-to-please friend gave it a 9/10, which I've never heard of from him lol. I like the space and layout as well, there's an upper dining area that was cool to hangout and eat at. Also the staff was really great -- they came over and gave us a free warm chocolate chip cookie that made me melt it was so good. Absolutely would return & recommend!

I still try to stop by every few months as this place holds a special place in my heart. A no frills spot. Solid and consistent. To the point but friendly customer service. Fantastic drink, chip and snack selection. Sandwiches are always bomb asf. The hot momma and BLT loaded up is my favorite. My husband still loves their Ruben (it is his favorite place to get it.) You get a small potato or macaroni salad on the side with a pickle (perfect crunch.) I personally think it's a great little add on. Their chili is also simple but delicious. I personally think their chili pairs perfectly with any of their sandwiches. It's not a heavy thick chili. Which is why I think it pairs so well. I won't lie it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. It's loaded up and good quality. I never feel gross or overly bloated after eating here. I used to frequent Fatboy's because it was close and convenient for a long time, but I am rarely able to visit anymore... parking is a bigger challenge every day in North Park, and finding even a 15-minute spot takes way longer than the drive for me now (but the walk is too far to pick up a quick meal). Today I was down the street for something else so decided to order a sandwich. I was excited, then my jaw dropped when I saw the price increases. It's $18 for the North Park Club now, with no extras. I already had a hard time justifying $15 for a sandwich but I'm officially, 100% priced out now. I know it's not necessarily on the business owners; rent is exorbitant in NP, profit margins are small in the food service industry, and operating costs are high. Our city is eating itself alive, but thank you for the years of sandwiches!

I thought I'd just get the fries since cheesesteaks seem to be their specialty, and I don't eat beef. But I decided to try their Chicken Ranch sandwich. The sandwich was better than I expected. I was picturing the basic grilled chicken sandwich--a piece of grilled chicken on a hamburger bun. Instead, it was loaded with tender, flavorful chicken, bacon, white American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch. Totally messy to eat, but in the best possible way! Being from Philly, I take my cheesesteaks very seriously. Probably more seriously than a reasonable adult should. So when I finally tried Gaglione Bros. in San Diego, I went in hopeful. First, the good stuff. The staff was wonderful, genuinely friendly, the place was clean, and there were plenty of options. They even had Amoroso rolls and fresh-shaved prime rib. On paper, we were speaking my language. But whenever I try a new "Philly cheesesteak" place, I order my first steak plain. No cheese, no onions, no peppers, no hiding behind toppings. If you want to call yourself a Philly steak shop, the steak and bread should be able to stand on their own. Unfortunately, this one didn't. The meat was heavily salted and peppered, surprisingly dry, and every couple of bites I was pulling out pieces of fat. And nothing makes you question your dining choices quite like discreetly removing a piece of steak from your mouth in public. For me, a great cheesesteak has balance. The meat should be tender and juicy, with enough seasoning to bring out the beef rather than overpower it. There should be a little richness from the griddle, the steak juices, and everything cooking around it. Then you add the onions, mushrooms, peppers, cheese or whatever your particular Philly allegiance demands. This steak just didn't have that softness or heart. It honestly reminded me more of the tourist cheesesteak experience in Philly. And my fellow Philadelphians know exactly what I mean when I say that. A real Philly cheesesteak isn't complicated food, but that's precisely why every part matters. The bread matters. The meat matters. The griddle matters. And somehow, when someone really knows how to make one, you can taste the heart in it. Would I try Gaglione Bros. again? Probably not for the cheesesteak. The people were great and the place itself left a good impression, but the steak didn't. Mostly, the experience just left this Philly girl Jonesing for a long weekend back home, a walk down South Street, and a cheesesteak from that place. If you're from Philly, you already know which one I mean.

We don't use much anymore, but I couldn't quite place it not really spicy just there. they use the standard jalapeños for spice, which I would think a specialty shop like this would've had you know spicy peppers. looks like it would be a good place if you had a party to have a little area for you guests. Going in if it's your first time might be a little confusing because there's a tacos shop right there and that looks like where you would go in Giorgino's door is a solid gray that you would think would be like a back door or maybe an old school speakeasy so it's blink and end up in the taco shop. For one person, I was shy of $30 I guess I would've expected more in the way of the actual food either more flavor it would be more sandwich. More fries, more flare in the actual dish.

Solid Sandwhich spot…read more It is nice and clean when you walk in. It's giving smoothie shop. A bit more elegant than your typical corner Sandwhich shop. The guy at the register was kind and patient. They have a vast menu to select from. Sandwiches, smoothies, flat breads, pastries, sides, drinks, etc. They also had a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from. At least 20-30 if I were to guess. It will be easy to find something that peaks your interest. We got the Ruben, turkey club, strawberry banana smoothie and two pieces of cheesecake. The sandwiches were standard but definitely quality. Nice, neat and not too messy. If you like a sauced up sandwich I'd definitely ask for extra condiments. The smoothie was absolutely delicious. They definitely don't add any protein (unless you ask) or weird added sugar. Naturally sweet and refreshing. The cheesecake was the real star of the show. I didn't ask if they were made in house but they sure tasted made in house (or from a local bakery.) The cheesecake was not too thick or heavy. Creamy and delicious. I will definitely come here again. If you're looking for a clean and kinda boujie Sandwhich spot this place is solid choice.

Every employee we interacted with was incredibly sweet and welcoming each time. This review is mainly for our Sunday breakfast experience. Cloud 9 is more than just your typical deli. They have a pretty large menu with breakfast, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads, flatbreads, soups, smoothies plus cold-pressed juices. We got the Monte Cristo ($14.99), which comes with Boar's Head oven-roasted ham, Havarti cheese, mustard and mayo on egg-battered white bread. It's pan-fried then finished with powdered sugar. Service was quick. Once we got the sandwich, we were DEVOURING it. Such a good Monte Cristo. They were super generous with the ham. The havarti was perfectly melted, giving you that cheesy pull with every bite. The bread was toasted perfectly with nice crisp edges while still staying soft inside. Add that little sweetness from the powdered sugar. What more could you want from a Monte Cristo? It also comes with some maple syrup and fruit on the side.
