Great food, quick, cozy, delicious and nothing mean about it! Friendliest staff. Had the maple pastry, bagel and cream cheese and Lavender Latte. Great spot to grab a bite and save time for hiking.

Similarly to another review, the family and I happen to be driving by and noticed this Jem. I ordered a dirty chai and it was delicious! The service was stellar and the ambiance was cute!

We seen this Little Gem Of a Coffee shop on our way back into the city and we stopped shoot we U-Turned for this Coffee shop Absolutely stunning Place and hospitality was 100 wish This coffee owner all the best THE COFFEE IS AMAZING AND WONDERFULLY MADE please support and buy from this Small Bussiness

Hazelnut iced latte, chocolate muffin, mocha iced latte, and everything bagel with cream cheese.

I loved this place! I was a little hesitant because of the old Western general store exterior thinking it might be a touristy thing, but it was a nice small market and amazing coffee shop. I got a hazelnut iced latte and a bagel with cream cheese which tasted amazing and fresh. The guy working there was very friendly. The interior was very nice too, there was a place for kids to play, plenty of seating and real plants decorating the whole place. I'd highly recommend it.

My bf got the pork burrito, SO DELICIOUS AND FULL OF FLAVOR. The way they melt the cheese in there, yummm. It had just the slightest bit of sweetness and had my bf got the jalepenos I think it would have been even more perfect. I got an egg bite to pair with my pancakes. The egg bite had good flavor and was yummy. I really enjoyed my pancakes as well. I'm usually not a sweet breakfast person. They were really thick that they were still airy and fluffy and had good flavor. I didn't care for the strawberries because I don't like my fruit soggy and they were just a little bit too sweet for me, so I'd probably skip that next time. We got the fresh orange juice, it was OK. I wish I would've told them to not add any sweetener because then I think it would be perfect. I'm not too big on sweet The burrito was so good I wanted my own to go but they sold out so I settled on the brisket cheese steak. Sooo full of flavor and delicious. We popped in on a Monday morning hoping to score some great grub and we certainly found some! Cubano ($20.95) - Starting with the bread - it's really fluffy, not toasted or pressed as with usual cubanos. Unfortunately, it's probably a little too light for the sandwich because some parts get mushy from being soaked in all the dijonnaise. The dijonnaise is very sweet, creamy with a mustardy zing. I think they add a bit too much, making the sandwich more fatty and messy to eat than I like (not to mention what I stated before about it soaking into the bread). The meat is fantastic. Both porchetta and ham are griddled on the flat top, giving them a developed and concentrated edge. The ham is to the point of being like country ham, while the porchetta still has great seasoned porky flavor. I believe they griddle the swiss cheese alongside the meat. It melts and crisps up into a cheese skirt, adding a fantastic texture to the sandwich. There's a lot of crinkle cut pickles underneath the meat, but it's not enough acid to cut through all that fat. Sandwiches come with a side of house chips. They are fried until a darker golden brown color, but aren't burnt. This gives a great kettle chip-like crunch. Even with different sized chips, they are very evenly fried with all chips being the same texture. They are salted the perfect amount. (4/5) Aleppo Pepper Pastrami sub Tomato Soup ($22.75) - This place is famous for their pastrami, and I can tell the quality. It's cooked on the griddle until it develops crisp edges. It's fatty, but the fat is rendered so there are no chewy and leathery parts. The meat is extremely tender and thinly sliced. It's honestly almost like bacon in texture, but the taste is completely different, with the exterior spices and pepper making a huge impact along with the rich concentrated meatiness inside. The bread is a nice toasted sourdough, not strongly sour in flavor, but definitely noticeable. The bottom slice is slathered with plenty of nopales studded cream cheese. It's added in a large amount and is an extremely creamy and fatty substance yet somehow doesn't overwhelm the sandwich. It's warm but not melty. The nopales are clearly there but I didn't find it to contribute much. The pastrami is layered on top of that followed by a ton of sweet brown caramelized onions that are very tender. An entire green chile, roasted and super smoky, is above that. Finally, aleppo mustard is spread on the top slice of bread. Between the green chile and the aleppo, there's a slight warmth that tinges the sandwich. It's nothing too spicy. Instead of chips, we opted to sub the Tomato Soup (no fee). It's very homestyle, full of tomato richness in a thick blend. It has a strong tangy tomato essence. There's basil oil drizzled on top for a boost of freshness. The soup is unfortunately quite a bit too acidic for my tastes, but that's only by itself! While very acidic, the soup is actually great as a balance to the sandwich (along with the pickle of course) since there's so much richness and fat coming in between the bread. (5/5) Proper Meats + Provisions definitely serves some great sandwiches. We were considering visiting again for our 2 full days in Flagstaff, but weren't able to make it because they close so early at 6! My wife went with the Nathan's hot dog loaded up with chili, cheese, and onions. Honestly, that was the safe play and it paid off. The hot dog was good. Solid. Dependable. It did not try to reinvent the wheel or elevate the hot dog experience. It just showed up, did its job, and moved on with its life. Respect. I decided to get adventurous with the Native Taco. And by adventurous, I mean I ordered something that is basically chili, cheese, onions, lettuce, and salsa sitting on what I can only describe as pizza dough. So imagine a taco. Now imagine a slice of pizza. Now combine them and remove most of the seasoning. That's the experience. It's actually an interesting concept. I'll give them that. Taco pizza energy. But everything kind of blended together into one unified note of... fine. Not bad. Not offensive. Just polite. It felt like all the ingredients had a meeting beforehand and agreed not to outshine each other. The hot chocolate was good though. No sarcasm there. It hit the spot, especially with that canyon air reminding you you're not at sea level anymore. All in all, it's three stars. You're at the Grand Canyon. You're not here for culinary fireworks. You're here for one of the greatest natural wonders on earth. The food is there to keep you upright and moving toward the rim. Mission accomplished.
