I got an iced mocha & a cinnamon muffin from here on our trip out of the Grand Canyon and it was delicious! It was great to get to support a small business on our trip out of the Grand Canyon. Highly recommend to any travelers! The staff were also super kind and patient- such an extensive menu!

This was a 5 star stop and possibly our favorite food spot on our 8 state road trip from Florida! We got brisket cheesesteak, avocado toast, matcha late (best I have had - real deal), and a mocha late. The quality of ingredients is top notch and the price is not bad for the portions and quality of ingredients. We went to Grand Canyon feeling pleasantly full and fueled for a day of hiking. Highly recommend ! Get there early as they get busy and run out of stuff at the end of the day.

The food, drinks, and service were all amazing. The day before we had breakfast at the truck, we had some car troubles and found ourselves desperate for help. Sarah, the owner of the truck, saved our trip and helped us get back on the road. Our AirBnB host had already recommended the truck for coffee and food so the next morning we decided to visit her again. This time for some breakfast. Our expectations were honestly low since the town seemed pretty bare and we had already been on the road for a few days and the best meal we had eaten on our trip was Pizza Hut (no shame to Pizza Hut). We were excited for something local and homemade. S&J did not disappoint. The menu is bountiful with the most amazing delicious options, making it difficult to pick just one. The coffee syrup options were also endless and we ended up combining a few different syrups in both our tea and coffee. We ordered the cheddar biscuits and sausage gravy, the breakfast sandwich with sausage, an English breakfast tea, an iced coffee, and two ginger shots. Needless to say, everything was exceptional. The biscuits and gravy were fluffy and pillowy but large and filling. The gravy was perfectly silky and savory, without being too overpowering. The breakfast sandwich was crispy with cheesy edges griddled to perfection. Both drinks were the perfect caffeine fix before a long travel day. Sarah even taught us how to make ginger syrup to use to make ginger ale and other yummy drinks. We could not recommend this place enough, not just for the food, but also for the service and hospitality. If we ever find ourselves back in Williams, AZ, we will most definitely be stopping at S&J Mobile!!

Upon a recent visit to the Grand Canyon we stayed a little ways away from the park and were a little worried about food choices as they seem to be few and far between. Luckily our Airbnb had a little note telling us to check out this food truck. On a Sunday morning, bright and early, we hoped in the car with no expectations of what we would find having had a mediocre dinner the night before. To our delightful surprise this little food truck, parked in the parking lot of a Flintstones themes campground and entertainment center, had a pleathera of breakfast choices and coffee and non coffee, coffees! The service was joyful and friendly first thing in the morning and we ordered our food. It was homemade and the portions were large, I would say the overnight oats we grabbed for our ten month old stole the show! Had I known I also would've opted for fresh squeezed OJ, but I didn't peruse the menu quite long enough. They had tons of options for food and you could tell it was made with love. It started to get busier as we were eating our breakfast and those folks had a bit of a wait, overall I think the food was worth it for a bit of a wait. Make sure to check out this food truck for a meal or two if you're in this area!

We stumbled upon S&J as we made a pit stop at the gas station. We needed something to eat, so we decided to check it out. Turns out, everything but the Smashburger was sold out! Good for them! So obviously we had to try the Smashburger. They were ready in around 15-20 minutes, and they were really really good. You can tell they really put in the care for these burgers. The 2 smash patties and cheese were perfectly cooked and melted with crispy edges, and the bbq + house sauces tied it all together. Amber was super friendly and took good care of us. Keep up the fantastic work, S&J!

Good simple food with great flavor. This food truck was a great find in Valle and worth a stop if you are passing through or staying at the Inn nearby. They have a good coffee beverage menu and breakfast and lunch offerings. Staff were friendly. It is in on the Chevron property by the hwy. One table and some rocks to sit on but no shade. Open 7am to 2pm Thursday to Monday.

Wow! This food taste so amazing! There wasn't anything I didn't like! The service is amazing as well, the prices aren't to bad either . If you are in the area you better come try it! There's so many options as well! I even saw avocado toast!!! I didn't catch her name but she is so sweet !

S&J Mobile Café - A Hidden Gem at the Grand Canyon! If you're anywhere near the Grand Canyon and don't stop at S&J Mobile Café, you're seriously missing out! This place is an absolute must-visit--every bite feels like homemade goodness, and the chefs are as personable as they come. Breakfast Sandwich? Unreal. Fluffy eggs, perfectly crisp bacon, and fresh bread that melts in your mouth. Pancakes? Next-level delicious. Light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Dutch Doughnuts? A dream. Warm, pillowy, and absolutely addictive. Coffee? Smooth and rich. The perfect start to your day. The menu is incredibly extensive--from vegetarian to gluten-free options, everything is made with care and tastes out of this world. Don't let the mobile café setting fool you; this is gourmet-quality food on wheels. And yes, they ARE open, so don't hesitate--this is one stop you won't regret.

    Filling and tasty

The absolute best coffee and smash burgers. Don't waste your time or money going anywhere else. We are new to the area and are thrilled that they are here.

We have been longing for these warming, Indian flavors and are so ecstatic we found this truck. Prices were extremely fair considering its Sedona and the portion sizes were also great. You can't go wrong with anything at this truck, and they're open late until midnight. Most of the local places didn't have great reviews, but this one had better than most. Bonus was we were staying at the Red Feather Lodge right next door, which offers meal discounts with proof of room key. We didn't have to wait for a table. Service was great. They were prompt with our drink refills and chips and salsa. The salsa was great! The place looks a bit dated, but was still a nice place to sit down for a meal. The menu is large and extensive, guaranteeing something for everyone. My youngest got the birria plate, my oldest got the camarones Vallarta and I decided to go with the chile Colorado. Either we were really hungry or everything was really good, or both, because we devoured our food! Definitely a decent option when visiting Grand Canyon Village!

The food options in general in the Grand Canyon are grim, so we didn't expect too much, only being lured in by the promise of 10% off due to our hotel stay at the Red Feather Lodge. The food was even worse than our low expectations. Walking in for dinner on Saturday during the shoulder season, it wasn't very busy at all. And yet we felt like we were ignored for a good while before we were able to place our order. Service in general was very slow, with the waitress disappearing for several long stretches of time. For example, it took about 20 minutes to get our order in after we had sat down and then another 20 minutes after we had finished to get the check. At least the chips and salsa arrived quickly. Chips and Salsa (Complementary) - These are standard yellow corn tortilla chips, with tons of tiny crushed chips on the bottom and larger whole ones on top. The salsa is slightly spicy, tangy, has plenty of crunchy chopped onion and tender tomatoes mixed in along with fresh herbs. Pretty standard stuff but tasty. Pork Carnitas ($29.99) - When this dish came out we were not sure what exactly we had received. What was on the plate certainly didn't look like carnitas; instead it looked like some kind of pork stew. We flagged the waitress down and she insisted they were carnitas. Strange. The "carnitas" consists of cubed and stewed pork mixed with celery and peppers. The cubes are compressed and cannot be shredded apart. There is a tiny bit of texture on some pieces that indicate that they had been fried at some point, but they are mostly tender instead. The texture reminds me of commercial pork that's been injected with saline and preservatives. It's very lean but the stewing liquid adds tons of rich, deep, flavors to the dish. Unfortunately the pork itself doesn't taste good. There's a strange off flavor, perhaps of older or freezer burned meat. The rice and beans are pretty normal. The rice is moist but each fried grain can be felt. It has appropriate salty tomato flavor. The beans are tender and mostly mashed, a little on the silky/watery side with some pieces of bean remaining. They are seasoned appropriately. Given the texture on the beans I wonder if they are from a can and/or direct from a commercial supplier. This dish is served with four small flour tortillas which are the worst I have ever seen at a Mexican restaurant. They are completely dried out, glued together into a stack. Clearly no care was given to storage. Any Mexican restaurant should be ashamed at serving the quality of the tortillas we received. Finally, there's some pico de gallo and guac to create some "carnitas" tacos. The guac is quite tangy from citrus juice. No matter what the waitress said, I don't think this dish was "Pork Carnitas." Even after leaving the restaurant, I tried to do some research to see if there is some regional variation of carnitas that could match this dish. I found nothing. From the pictures of another review 10 years ago, I see Plaza Bonita used to serve real carnitas - shredded deep fried pork. The switch to cubed pork must be a cost cutting measure. (1/5) Combo #2, Enchilada, Burrito, Green Corn Tamale, Shredded Beef ($24.99) - I'm not sure why anyone would order Combo #1 when the #2 is only a dollar more! The main difference between the enchilada and burrito is the tortilla used. The former has a corn tortilla, soaked a bit until soft and tender. There's a bit of standard red enchilada sauce poured on top, followed by just a bit of cheese. The burrito uses a toothsome and pliable flour tortilla that is rather tough and requires some work to get through with a knife. Both items I chose to get stuffed with shredded beef, which is actually pretty decent. It's very tender, very flavorful since they've been stewed for a while in some kind of sauce. The green corn tamale seems to be masa mixed with whole sweet corn kernels, and green chile skins (only a tiny bit of each). They add a lot of sugar, so the whole thing kind of tastes like eating sweet cornbread. The tamale is otherwise tender in texture and easy to eat. The texture is like that of an extruded masa, like it was prepared commercially in a factory. My guess based on the texture and appearance is that this isn't made in house. (3/5) Plaza Bonita was really disappointing. The pricing is absolutely ridiculous for what we received. They serve very low quality food for obscene prices. I think the only reason they survive as a business is because nothing else in the area is good either. Bathrooms - Two rooms with multiple stalls
