Had drinks here a few times during our stay. We also had breakfast. Food & drinks were excellent. Service and ambiance absolutely impeccable. Pricing was surprisingly very reasonable as well. I highly recommend and can't wait to come b

We had such a wonderful experience here. The hostess was very friendly and nice. The waiter gave us some great recommendations. The fries were delicious. The tomahawk was sliced table side by Chef Erik. He was very informative and friendly. Highly recommend

Mayor's Table Pacific Pub & Kitchen - Lido House Hotel, Newport Beach If you find yourself in Newport Beach, a stop at the Mayor's Table is an absolute must. Not only is this spot dog-friendly (huge bonus points for Hank-approved patios! ), but it's also the perfect blend of coastal charm and culinary creativity. We arrived on a sunny Saturday and were treated to their brunch menu. And here's my rule: if a menu has a "Wow Factor" section... you have to try something from it. No exceptions. We tried the French Toast. Made with a milk bread loaf, topped with banana crèmeux, banana butter, and candied bananas... one bite and all I could say was "WOW!" Crispy outside, fluffy inside, rich, and perfectly balanced -- this dish lives up to the name of its menu section. We also tried the Fried Rice. This wasn't just any fried rice -- it was an elevated take featuring English peas, heritage bacon, Maui Gold pineapple, two organic eggs, and a subtle chili crunch. Perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and bursting with flavor. Absolutely delicious . Located on the historic site of the old Newport City Hall, Mayor's Table is the signature dining venue of the gorgeous Lido House Hotel. Expect seafood-forward, veggie-driven cuisine, a raw bar, chef's table, and an open-action kitchen that adds to the lively energy. And the service? Top-notch, every single time. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. For a truly special experience, check out their "Dine or Brunch Like a Mayor" menu option-- always unique, always impressive. Come hungry, bring your pup, and prepare to be wowed. Whether you're in the mood for a laid-back brunch or a more elevated dining experience, Mayor's Table delivers every time. You will need to valet park, usually $14 with validation, but this gives you the opportunity to walk over to the Lido Marina Village for some unique stores on Via Oporto. Worth the stop, worth the splurge, and worth every bite. Hank also recommends the bacon.

I was looking for a place to have dessert and was excited to find this restaurant within a lively hotel. I didn't know what to expect, it being my first time, but I can confidentially say that it's some of the best dessert i have ever had. From the presentation--to the portion size--to the taste, it truly felt like an impeccable experience that I luckily stumbled upon.

We came here late on a Friday evening for drinks. Everything was spectacular and they have a lounge area near the fireplace, so cozy! I enjoyed the vibe and loved that it wasn't too packed and was relatively calm inside. Drinks are on the pricier end, but that was expected. For parking, we used the valet (which is not always ideal) - I am not sure if there are any other parking options. Also, I didn't get a chance to try any of the food, but maybe next time! I'll be back!

Chef Escobar hit it out of the park. We stayed at The hotel and were not sure where to go. Very grateful for Colin's excellent recommendations. The flat iron steak is reasonably priced, perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The truffle risotto is a MUST. Flavor and texture are power packed and super fresh. You have to try the Hawaiian tuna toast. Fresh, sweet, spicy and the sour dough is exceptional. We were stuffed but were told the dessert was amazing. We went for the 13 layer chocolate cake. If you grew up on Claim Jumper imagine a fancy version with flavor x3. So rich but not overly sweet. So good that we are coming back for breakfast and I'm bringing my girls for brunch. Ignore the Karen's. The food is 10/10.

We came to the Mayor's table for a family dinner and to do our gender reveal. They put us in a quiet corner farther back in the restaurant which was really helpful for us to hear each other and for the dinner to feel more private. We had easy access to bathrooms just outside the doors to the pool area. Our waitress was super helpful. She asked how soon we would want the cake brought out and helped us order appetizers for the table. She regularly checked in on us to see if we needed any refills or wanted to order more food or drinks. The ambience was really nice inside. It's has a very modern interior but still felt cozy. They put shades down as the sunset got pretty strong. The staff regularly cleared our table and all the food came out in a timely manner. The food was all very delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I got the steak and loved the yuzu sauce on my broccolini. The onion dip and bread were especially delicious. Towards the end of dinner our waitress pulled dessert plates out for us and some knives to cut our cake. Almost no one was sat near us so we got some really nice photos and videos of the gender reveal without other customers nearby. I was very appreciative they left the back section pretty empty for us. Overall we loved our dining experience at the Mayor's table. I would definitely come back for special occasions!

I stayed at the Lido House and visited the Mayor's Table after a long day of travel. I was greeted and served by Joseph at the bar and he was fantastic. Super attentive and customer centric. The food was awesome, the octopus was amazing!! The chef came out to let me know that my salmon was taking a bit longer because he was breaking down a whole new fish, I really appreciated that! It didn't even feel that way because I was still working on my appetizer, so the extra attentiveness was unexpected and so nice. There was a wasted party at the bar with a man that I felt was demeaning to the staff but Joseph and his team handled them with courtesy and grace regardless. I wanted to say something! Anyway, I will be back. If you visit, make sure you sit at the bar! And make sure you get that octopus!!

We placed a reservation almost 2 months in advance. Was completely confirmed. We were asked via email and text if we would like to use the preset valentines menu. We politely declined as we were planning on getting so much more than what the preset menu offered. Then, last night at 10pm we received this message. I know for a fact that there wasn't any spots left before the reservation was made. That's why we made it almost 2 months in advance... if there were no reservations to be made, why was ours confirmed right away? I feel like it's because we refused the preset valentines menu. And that's not okay. We love this place and spend money when we go.. is our money not good enough because we chose to forgo a menu we didn't want? Our Valentine's Day is now ruined because you told us literally the day before. Which just kind of ensures my thought of you canceling our reservation just because we didn't pick you Valentine's Day menu. I am very upset. There's no other reservation we can do since you guys let us know last minute. This is so unprofessional and not okay.

So let me just start by saying I REALLY wanted to like this place. I try not to write bad reviews unless absolutely necessary. But I do try to approach Yelp with some fidelity to its purpose. Also, let me just say, this won't be a bad review because it honestly wasn't bad... it just wasn't great. So let's start with the good. It really is a beautiful space. It's both upscale and relaxed. It's comfortable in the nicest way possible. A great place to catch up with friends. Also the service is great. Shout out to our server, Jose. He was phenomenal. Made sure to check-in but didn't hover. He definitely made the experience comfortable. If service and ambiance were the only qualifiers, I'd happily give this place 5 stars. Unfortunately the food was a bit underwhelming. It did, however, start off well. They provided an amuse-bouche which was a nice touch. I wasn't expecting it so I ate it before taking a picture or even getting clarity on what it was. A blue cheese stuffed grape tomato is likely the best description I can provide. Suffice it to say, it was tasty. We ordered the baked onion dip for a starter. This was the star of the night. The bread, some sort of pillowy pita, was insanely good and the dip was so flavorful. I would come back just for this. For mains we ordered the pork chop (which came highly recommended), the burger and the truffle orecchiette and cheese. It was fine. All a bit bland but a bit of a let down. I'm willing to try this place again. It really is a beautiful space and the menu is seasonal so perhaps I'll find something I like better. Again, not a bad experience just not a particularly good experience. I think 3 stars is about right.

The Rib Eye Melt was the star: tender, flavorful steak layered with perfectly melted cheese on crisp, buttery bread that balanced richness with texture. Every bite felt indulgent but well executed. The Steak & Eggs delivered exactly what you want from a classic done right -- a well-seasoned steak with a beautiful sear, cooked perfectly and paired with eggs that tied the plate together into a satisfying, no-frills brunch win. From the moment we sat down the service was off. The server didn't bother to ask our side of the table what we wanted to drink, nor did he give us a menu til I asked. The steak would have been better if cut into medallions. It was a very messy chop on the steak, and two of the piece looked as if being held by a string. Also the steak lacked flavoring. 2- The clam chowder had a nice flavor, however we had to send it back three times because it was not even warm. Each time they brought it back out it had a light steam coming off the top, but as soon as we took a spoon on to eat it was barely warm. The fourth bowl came out where the bowl itself was warm and the soup was a bit more on the warm side. I like soup that is it perfectly warm to almost a bit hot you need to blow on it. I questioned if it was exactly safe to eat at the temperature it was being served. 3- The hot chicken sliders and fries. The chicken was warmish. My son felt it was safe enough to eat, but with hesitation. The fries were cold to touch. He ate it all because he was hungry and didn't want to wait for it to be redone. 4- The French onion soup. The flavor was very tasty, but again like the clam chowder was not very warm. The food needs help. I feel like all this food was precooked and just sitting under a warmer. It did not taste like it was freshly prepared and served immediately. It was not busy so not sure why all food was cold to barely warm. Total bill was around $100, and I left there upset at paying that amount for food that was not worth it. I don't like leaving a restaurant and regretting eating out. Such a horrible feeling.

Although it is located in a resort, it is definitely a locals spot. Everyone appeared to know each other from the area. Very friendly. We arrived around 11:00 am for Brunch and to watch the final day of The Masters. It was a rainy morning so we elected to sit at the bar. We typically enjoy sitting outside on the patio at the tables or the fire pits, if you still at the bar, you still have a nice view of the boats lined up in the harbor. Tia was the bartender when we arrived. She was very attentive and professional. Tia explained brunch was already over which we were a little bummed but she said she could still do a couple of breakfast boards. Neither looked like what we were interested in eating so we elected to go for lunch. We ordered Bloody Marys and they were delicious. We started with the Chef's Seasonal Burrata - Pistachio pesto, roasted beets, pomegranate, lemon olive oil, fresh herbs, grilled house made focaccia. This was very refreshing and tasty. It is also GF and Veg. I ordered the A+O Burger - Brioche bun, butter lettuce, 1000 island, farmhouse cheddar, caramelized onion, pickles, fries. I ordered it Medium and unfortunately the burger was cooked well done. It had great flavor but it was a little dry since not cooked to order. The fries were delicious, hot and crispy. My husband ordered the Pork Belly Sliders - Pork belly, butterleaf lettuce, roma tomatoes, fresh sliced pickles, spicy aioli, Kings Hawaiian slider bun. He said they were delicious. Tia left and Joe took over. Joe was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Joe went out of his way to grab a drink I requested that was not available at the bar and brought it out for me. Very nice! The bar was crowded and Joe took care of everyone with ease while giving everyone attention. Cameron also came in shift and was very friendly as well. The service was excellent and we liked the food. If they had cooked my burger to requested temp it would have been perfect. We will be back!

Advertised live dj on sundays when we made reservations and there was no live music. Food is overall bland as hell, steak was chewy and dry and unsalted it seems. Chicken and waffles board was probably the worst chicken and waffles I've had, and all the sides that came with it seemed random as hell. We were excited to try a newish brunch spot out and to get a bottle of champagne for mimosas. Little did we know, that the mimosa would be the best part of the meal. This spot replaced a super crappy brunch buffet, that was one of the saddest buffets I've ever been to. Saw that they opened a new concept and saw that they advertised live DJs on sundays for brunch. So we decided to try it. We sat down and ordered the chicken and waffles platter and steak and salad plate. The chicken and waffle plate was really not that good, not a single item on the platter was good. Waffles, you can tell they tried to make it fancy, but just tasted weird and dry. The syrup, looks like they make in house also, not sweet enough and bland. The chicken was the least bland item out of everything, but it's not worth it at all. The steak was one of the chewiest, dry steaks I've had in a while also under seasoned, maybe even no salt. The chicken platter also had random items on it, that made no sense. Random sprigs of rosemary, marshmallow amongst other items. Nothing seemed to gel and it looked like they were just trying to fill the space with easy things. The mimosas that came with the chicken and waffles platter was the star of our meal. Honestly, I'd say it's hard to make food taste this bland and whatevers. With what they are charging, the steak shouldn't be dry and chewy, let alone not seasoned. Everything was under seasoned like we were in a cardiatric ward in the hospital. You can make better food following any recipe on YouTube. 2 stars for the mimosa and the server was very friendly, service wasn't anything to write home about though. Not busy at all, and a lot of workers just standing around. We didn't get checked on much throughout the meal. Oh and the valet was free at least.

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon in Newport and decided to grab an appetizer and drinks at ARC…read more We ordered the OG spritz and chicken nuggets. The drinks came out quickly and filled to the top! The nuggets were cooking to perfection, crispy and chicken forward. The breading was light and dipping sauces options were great. I especially loved the honey mustard. We were only in a grazing mood but the menu was filled with great tapas style options and will require another visit to explore. Seating options were plentiful inside and out. Great place to come to enjoy a variety of options and enjoy the sun.

We went yesterday around brunch time and were kind of disappointed…read more We sat at the patio, which was cute. We had sparkling rosé and then later Sancerre. They and both were great. They have an impressive wine selection. The disappointment was the food though. We started with pot pie bites, which were the best thing on the menu. They were delicious. I wish they came with more than just four pieces. They are almost like pot pie wontons. We also ordered the three dips. Only one was edible. The hummus was so salty that we couldn't even eat that. Then there was a plain yogurt, which was boring. Lastly, there was the tzatziki, which was good. It came with flatbread and carrots and was beautifully presented. We also ordered the garlic meatballs. The meatballs had no flavor. They were covered in cheese and sauce and then there was a head of garlic on top. The garlic was cooked down too much so you couldn't get any garlic flavor. I would not order this again. We also got the chicken nuggets because they were popular, but honestly, they just tasted like deep fried overly cooked chicken nuggets. I would not order this again. Lastly, we got the wedge salad. This was a really boring salad with not a lot of flavor or toppings. The bacon on top was hard and inedible. Overall, an underwhelming dining experience, and I won't be back
