It was my first time coming in here, and this place is exactly what I expected based on what I've heard from friends. It is a large dance bar with several dance floors and bars, as well as an outdoor area to sit with a fountain. The location makes this spot difficult to find parking/etc., but most people Uber here which works out fine. We went to the large dance floor to the right of the door and had a good time in a huge crowd, dancing to pop hits from ~10 years ago. I was surprised that this is a cash only spot--we were not prepared so didn't have too much on hand. Overall the drinks were fine--they often overpour, but my biggest complaint was waiting at the bar for about 10 minutes of while we watched others come and go--getting served before us. My guess is these are regulars, as we probably stuck out quite a bit in nicer clothes that we came from a party in. Other than a long wait the service was fine. The good thing about this spot is how unique it is--definitely feels like you are not in Omaha anymore! I can see how a lot of people enjoy the vibe, but it is just not my spot with the music too loud to understand anything, and people bumping into you at every angle. Still a decent location for an after party type thing on occasion! I just wish the bartenders we saw didn't pass us over for other guests for so long.

Getting racist vibes from this place now. Used to be a great place to come and dance on a Saturday night the DJ tonight lied and claimed "Omaha" put a ban on hip hop music in clubs. So he can play his music no one can dance to. If he didn't want to play music to dance to he could have just said that. To say they don't want to play hip hop music to avoid "attracting a certain type" doesn't seem very inclusive for a gay nightclub.

The Max never disappoints! This club has been a must go to in Omaha for almost 40 years. Clean, modern, hi tech lighting and sound! FIVE STARS!

Awesome fun place to hang out & dance with friends. But be sure to go on Saturdays cause it's pretty much dead on Fridays.

Happy Anniversary to us! Well, yesterday but nonetheless decided we'd try a steakhouse we've read…read moremuch about in here. Honestly, we weren't that... impressed, but we gave it a valiant go on both meals chosen! Kinda bummed there wasn't a drink menu with cocktails, but they had a great selection of wine ranging from $100-$500 a bottle. So, we stuck with water. Bread and creamy butter was dropped off while we waited and who can't resist a warm roll? Got the Trail Boss Prime Rib, with salad bar, and baked potato side was requested as medium. The au ju lacked flavor, and only lasted a few bites before not used at all. The baked potato was delish though! Prime rib was very tender, a lot of cap which was nice, but it was just sorta.. average. I snagged their Teriyaki Tenderloin Kabob on a bed of wild rice, salad bar, and asparagus side (probably the first restaurant I've seen that's offered asparagus as an actual side), requested well done. By all accounts it does look a bit charred, but when the veggies were pulled apart, they were warm and tender and paired well with the teriyaki and rice. That rice was delish! Asparagus didn't blow any air up my skirt unfortunately, because I really wanted it to blow my mind. I felt like we left a lot of food on our plates, but that could've just been how it was. We just felt... underwhelmed and wasn't picking up on all the hype.
