The cornbread cakes are spot on. I suspect the turnip greens are canned and of a brand that I really like so zero complaints there. If you live around here you know and if you're passing nearby it's certainly worth a stop. I'll be back whenever i'm in the area.

The baked beans were excellent and the star of the show. I also had the potato salad, which was very good. I would highly recommend NOT sitting at the outside tables like we did. The road noise was ridiculous! It seems that every other car had an exhaust that was obnoxiously loud and deafening to the point where you couldn't hear the person across the table from you.

Once I passed and saw they were open and decided to get an extra pound of smoked pork from here as well. It has changed in a drastic way. the "smoked" pork now has an ever intrusive taste of liquid smoke, to the point we threw most of it away (that is a real bad sign at my house.)
