Seasoned to perfection, and placed on a soft, toasted bun, this burger does not disappoint!! The yard area where the grill and dining happens is a fun place with cornhole games, table shuffleboard, darts, and chicken shit bingo on Sundays. There was a bit of a wait for my burger, but the word has spread, and this place has become a Georgetown destination! Friendly folks, employees, and a family atmosphere round out the experience. Check it out! Way better than a fast food burger, and the price is right!

Majority is outdoor seating and I would recommend coming right as they open to place your order since it's usually the owner making the burgers himself so it takes some time, but worth it! You can get drinks and beers inside! I personally prefer the spicy burger and it has a great kick to it. The OG is solid and they recently did brunch burgers on Saturday and had chicken bingo lol. All burgers come with a bag of chips and you pay via Venmo. Owners are super friendly and it's a great place to get some good food, cold drinks, and enjoy the day/night!

If someone offered me $100 million to find this place again without a map/looking at my check in, I…read morecouldn't do it. It's on some country road near Giddings, TX. This place is legit though, a true place where locals go and eat and have some beers. I knew it would be a great place when we walked in and there was a sign that said $1.25 PBR, that can not be beat. I picked up a friend who was on location and he said he heard from the landowner we needed to try this place. So we drove about 15 minutes on a country road that had no lights or anything, we then stumbled upon this place. Walking in there wasn't that many people there, a pool table in the back and the place was lit by neon signs. I had the cheeseburger on some type of bun that they have which was legit. A standard greasy cheeseburger that made the bun soggy. The PBR's were going down all too easy and I wanted to stay, but knowing that I was a city slicker and there was a high chance I'd get my ass kicked we decided to leave. I would definitely hit this place up again. Such good food and cold cold beer. Yee-haw y'all.

Love to come to Wagon Stop. We were in town visiting my brother who lives about a mile from WS and…read moreof course we have to have a hamburger at WS. We always see friends we know and usually make new friends while we're there. They usually have a special. Last nite it was brisket. I took a bite of my bros. delish!!!!! Comes w/2 sides. And one of them HAS to be the homemade german noodles. Hey, you're in German Czech country ya have to have homemade noodles. On Fri and Sat nites they have a band out back. Very cool. ( I use that word loosely in Texas in the summer) So, I'll finish talking about the burgers. They cook 'em up in back w/whatever you want on them and you can get it on a reg bun or jalapeno bun. They are so good and fresh and they're just an old fashioned hamurger. Just the way I like them. Oh and their ff are fried in peanut oil. They have cold beer (I'm told) and they have wine. Choice of red or white. That cracks me up. I like the "red". Gotta try it. You'll have to ask a local how to get there. Its in the boonies but worth it.

Another old time, home cooking type diner, with generous portions, fast friendly service, and small town country ambiance. A must stop if you're tired of the big city/chain type eateries, where the customers are more interested in their phones/laptops, than their dining companions. The Hop Queen got the schnitzel, which was a solid, stick to your ribs choice. The two sides, homemade mashed potatoes, and the squash were almost like déjà vu flavour, back when we were kids. I got the 4 Alarm burger, and it was tasty, spicy and filling. Great onion rings, which I am partial too, were nice and crunchy, held up well (no "bite and pull all the onion out problems"). Good enough, and scenic enough country drive, to make this a destination spot. Check out the daily specials, looks pretty inviting!

Some of the menu can be a little confusing. There are some items that come with two sides that do not mention that. And with the burgers you have to pay for sides separately. We opted for a chips and salsa, meatloaf (with greens and mashed potatoes as sides), a burger (fries cost extra), and chicken strips with broccoli and another side that I forgot. Chips and salsa were bad, but salsa needed a little salt. Greens were not fresh, potatoes were bland--gravy not good. Meatloaf wasnt bad. Burger was just okay. Chicken strips were just okay as well. Looks like they have a beer garden outside and being that it is a German/Texan fusion type spot maybe they do some time of events/entertainment...not sure. Would be interesting though. The food was mediocre and bland and the service not that great. They charge a fee to use card--but also do not give the coin portion of your change--which I kinda feel is another fee just to pay cash. Last I checked they still make nickels, dimes, and quarters. This spot is a little out of the way so I don't think that we would return.
