I ordered a coffee with caramel while working on my laptop for about 40 minutes and then ordered jalapeño ranch bacon burger with chips and a soda, to go with it around 10:40am. The burger was delicious--perfectly cooked with great flavor the addition of crispy jalapeños was nice--and the coffee was spot on. However, I also ordered six sticky buns when I ordered my burger that were promised to be ready by 11:30 a.m. but I ended up waiting until after 12:45p.m. without any communication. No one stopped by to update me on the delay, which left me feeling pretty frustrated. It's hard to understand how you can let someone sit for that long without providing any status updates and I wasn't alone. The only information we heard was when they would talk to someone at the drive-through about how the kitchen is behind. Despite the service issues, the sticky buns, once they arrived, were fantastic, probably best I've ever had. If you're not in a rush and are mainly focused on good food, this spot could work for you. Just be prepared for a lack of communication if delays happen. The score reflects service and communication more than food. Food was 4 stars. Sticky buns, 5! I will go back on another day and give it another shot to see if this was a fluke and reevaluate my score.
