I was so excited to go to a macaroni and cheese themed restaurant, as I am physically comprised of 70% water and 30% macaroni. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. It took an extended time to get our dishes. I tried the macaroni and cheese eggrolls. Based on the rubbery texture of the wrappers, they seemed to be prefried then refried. The filling was very dry. It would help if additional cheese/sauce was added to prevent the dryness. I think it came with sauce, but I didn't care for it. The macaroni and cheese came out. It was a little bland. This place is TO DIE FOR! We accidentally found it while we were out and about and after reading yelp reviews we gave it a shot. My fiancé got the pesto chicken Mac n cheese, which was the monthly special. I got the Jamaican jerk Mac n cheese and added cornbread topping and it was PERFECTION. The amount you're given is more than generous, the people are really nice and helpful and the service is fast. We will definitely be back! read more

Weve taken out here and dined in once. Our 1st experience was great! The owner came to our table and was friendly, asked us how our food was, and made small talk. Our food was delicious and great proportions. Price was reasonable. I expect all dine in experiences to be pleasant. I would recommend dining in more because I think the only time i wasnt satisfied was when we ordered take out. We ordered i think the buffalo mac and cheese the larger portion for 2. It definitely wasnt for two. The container was barely filled and the mac and cheese as super greasy this time and way too much sauce. Barely and pasta or chicken. Half of the fillings was just the grease and sauce. Ended up throwing away half of it and there was barely any to begin with. Im sure if we were dining it they would have corrected this. We were excited about a new adventure close to home, and given the rave reviews even more so.  Unfortunately, it was somewhat of a disappointment. My wife and I both ordered one of their grilled cheese options.  To start with, we got there early with only a single customer in sight.  I am thus not sure why, but it took a good, long time to receive our dinner. The bread was pretty well done.  I don't really mind that, but my wife was not much of a fan of the very darkened bread.  The french fries we both chose were seasoned nicely, but so limp my wife hardly touched hers.  I am not sure why they were like this, but they need to do better.  The sandwiches themselves were ok, but we have both had better other places. Overall, it was just ok, and probably doesn't merit a second trip any time soon. Update: I forgot to previously mention that we were surprised and disappointed that not a single member of their staff, into or out of the kitchen, wore a mask. Seems irresponsible! read more

I just ate here for the first time. I dined in, restaurant was clean and atmosphere was pleasant and family friendly. Seats were a bit uncomfortable but I can get over that. The food was fantastic. Service was fantastic. Seems pricey until you see the portions. WOW! Split a meal if you can decide on something together. If dining alone you don't need a side. I got the regular Supreme pizza mac and cheese and a side of chili cheese fries. Way too much for just me. Pasta was great just slightly aldente but not too much. Just the way I like it. I hate overcooked pasta and this was not. They know what they are doing. The fries, I think, were hand cut like fair fries and cooked nice a crispy. Even with chili and cheese on top they were not soaking in oil. I took home left overs, over half, because the portions are that big. The service was great and very welcoming. Friendly smiles and they really seemed happy to be doing what they are doing. If I could give this more stars I would. Happy eating read more

I'm vegan and the fact that this is a Mac-n-cheese joint that has awesome and delicious vegan selections made me so freaking happy!!! I love the Vegan queso Mac-n-cheese as well as the cheese fries and the Rainbow Quinoa salad. Everyone was super nice, the restaurant was clean, and the food was yummy. I just really appreciate that they took the time and effort to create thoughtful vegan options! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the service was a little slow. I was there on a Friday night and there was a steady flow of people coming in the door. They could've used an extra person on the register and some help in the kitchen. I don't leave many reviews. Only when it's deserved. And boy is this five star review deserved. It did take a while to get our food, but it was worth every second! We got the Buffalo Mac and the seasonal (apple/bacon) Mac. Both were exceptional. Such good flavor and loaded with cheese. We also got the seasonal apple cinnamon cheesecake and it was DIVINE. Placed an order online the following day for pick up during lunch time. Had their spinach & artichoke and the bacon & truffle Mac and cheese bowls. Ordering online was very seamless. I live about 7 minutes away from the restaurant by the time I got ready, left the house and arrived to the restaurant, my order was coming out. It was easy to find a park and the staff was very friendly. There were a few people in line ahead of me but since I placed my order online, I was able to be in an out. I went to The Mac House after seeing an article posted about it on Facebook. I opened for the mac with spinach in it, and I was NOT A FAN!!! It was a bit too rich for me. I'm sure it would have been better with the yellow cheese and sauce. But here's the kicker - when the owner realized that I didn't like my meal, she offered to give me something else, and she gave me good feedback about everything I asked about. She even told us about how we could customize our orders. She hooked me up with the grilled cheese and fries, and all was well in my world! Overall, the experience was great and I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you love macaroni and cheese. I tried the Jerk Chicken Macaroni and Cheese with a side of French fries. The staff were engaging and helpful, even asking me if this was my first time at the establishment. They pointed out the features of the menu and the seasonal specials. This is a quick order, non-fast food restaurant, so the food was delivered in a short period of time and the taste/quality was OUTSTANDING. Great place and a surprising find in a strip mall. Numerous varieties of mac and cheese dishes. We've tried several and have always been pleased. The dishes are freshly made and well seasoned. The Bacon and Truffle dish is fantastic. Creamy sauce with a wonderful balance of bacon and truffles. Our next favorite is the Buffalo Chicken mac. It's well spiced without being overpowering. They also have seasonally available mac offerings. Though a little pricey at first glance, the portions are generous and leave plenty to take home after dining. If I could give less I would. I walked in on the cashier finishing to prep my food. He dug into a jar with no gloves with a to go sauce container wrist and all. Not a spoon w a handle..Then walk over to register rang me up and walked back to the food w no gloves and did not wash his hand he then scooped again for another sauce and started to cover my food with a lid after handling the cash register. I complained to the supervisor and he agreed in a very aloof manner that the cashier should have washed his hands. After that was settled he stated the cashier always puts the lid on... I then asked him before or after handling the cash register? I also asked for his supervisor info to report my experience and he said we was the owner. I read on another website that this place offered vegan Mac and cheese, so we decided to give it a try. Half of my family can't have dairy, so this was a great treat. I went with the pork bbq, and one kid went custom with white cheddar sauce and bacon. We also shared an order of the egg rolls. The dairy-free members of the family each had classic Mac and cheese and split some vegan cheese fries. The food was all very good, but seemed a little pricy. We went for the "kids eat free" promotion/program. Our granddaughter couldn't find anything on the (very limited -- 4 items!) kids menu so I asked if I could pay the difference ($2.00) between the item she wanted (6 wings for $6.99) and the $4.99 price of everything on the kids menu. I didn't expect the restaurant to be out any money; I just was hoping for a little bit of flexibility. The young woman waiting on us was ready to do this when she was overruled by a man working the (very visible) kitchen. Great homemade Mac and Cheese! I had the Jerk Chicken Mac and it was flavorful with just the right amount of spice, which means noticeably spicy! If I had to try it again, I would probably go with a more traditional Mac choice, but I was very satisfied. The regular size portion was plenty to eat. I actually ended up taking about half of it home, even though I could have finished the whole thing because it was so good. The mac and cheese definitely tasted home made, and the rest of the items I saw others order looked awesome. I will have to go back and try some more. During my lunch, the owner came outside to my table to say hello and check on everything.It was a great touch which makes me want to support this home grown business even more. So we gave this a shot yesterday, really looking forward to a cozy lunch before a movie. From the website, I think I wasn't anticipating a walk up counter style restaurant but rather more of a wait service cafe maybe? The place felt cold but clean, a ton of staff goofing around behind the counter, we were one of two customers in the place at 12:30 on Sat. The menu was challenging but the staff was very willing to help us think through. We ordered salad, grilled cheese, sides of mac between the three of us. We also ordered drinks, where they give you cups for the fountain. My cup was dirty so I returned it, chalked it up to dishwasher. However, my teenager was trying to get Sprite and noticed some black specks in his cup...we returned it again and thought it was just another dishwasher miss. On he third attempt to get Sprite, we took a closer look at the cup and it was actually black ants coming from the machine. Ugh. The server was nice about it, cleaned the spigots and went in the back, came out and said everything was fixed now...no explanation...so I stuck with ice tea. The food was good, the salad needed more dressing but was filling. The bacon truffle mac was decadent. The buffalo chicken grilled cheese was good, not great, and the original mac was ok...I was hoping that it would have been the highlight. Bottom line, if I'm looking to just get a to go batch of the decadent mac and cheese for a party or a rainy day I'll stop by again. Otherwise, we will skip it. read more

In addition to the regular menu, there are monthly selections to choose from. The cheesecake is made from scratch. They offer take out.
