A Mocha and a good book
    Ashley B.

I really enjoyed this little quaint place. I just wanted to find a place close by my hotel to enjoy my book and this was really nice. The food was nice. The menu had things organized by locations like Canadian, Irish, etc. So you get to try foods that are common from different places that they have available. The service was very kind as well. I enjoyed myself. I really miss Ireland man.

This is such an amazing find when I was staying in Dublin! I actually was staying in Temple Bar area and wanted to explore. I did some walking around in different areas and stumbled across this for breakfast! The portions were absolutely HUGE! I loved every single thing on the plate and especially the sausage! The cappucino was just fine but the whole thing as a breakfast was fantastic! Loved the atmosphere and the service was extremely quick!

Nice little cafe with open air seating and several small tables. Both guys were very pleasant, I had the salad bowl which includes 6 toppings and oil & vinegar dressing. It was super fresh and good & only €7

So glad my husband and I found this gem! I am gluten free, and have celiac, so I really wanted to have a good breakfast place. The staff at Lovinspoon completely took care of me and went above and beyond with precautions once I told them I had celiac. I was able to have a gluten free Irish breakfast including their delicious handmade gluten free bread. My non-gf husband also had an Irish breakfast. We were so stuffed that we didn't eat until dinner! Super cute little spot with excellent food and lattes. We will return every time we are in Dublin!

As usual, when I am traveling, I turned to Yelp to help me find great places to eat. And as usual, Yelp Nation steered me right. This place is very small and the staff is super friendly . I ordered a three egg omelette, which comes with your choice of three fillings, but you can add more if you want to for a small extra charge. The omelette was great and I could only eat 2/3 of it so I have lunch later. When I was ordering, Michael, the owner asked me if I wanted toast with my omelette. I asked if they had some wheat bread, and he said "No, you want our homemade soda bread". I said "OK". He was correct to steer me to their homemade soda bread. The toasted soda bread was very very good. I didn't have any coffee or cappuccino but from the number of people that stopped in and took some to go. It must be a good place for coffee and I'm sure their salads at lunch are great. I'm only here for one day and my flight leaves early tomorrow,so I won't be able to go back for breakfast. But I could eat here every day for a week and be happy knowing that I won't find a better breakfast in Dublin. You sit at tables, but order at the counter that has all the fillings for omelettes and salads. They offer a full Irish Breakfast for the people that want to eat the traditional breakfast of Ireland. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. If you want cheap, go to Burger King, or McDonald's, both of which are 6 blocks down the street. As a person with 2,000,000 miles of travel, who lives in hotels and restaurants, I can highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch. If you're in Dublin and anywhere near this place, trust me...come here for breakfast

Easy to miss, small restaurant, but don't skip by this spot. Great breakfast joint. Wife and I both had omelettes...fluffy and tasty. Get the house-made bread!

Lovely breakfast spot! As a tourist I wanted a traditional Irish breakfast. The service and food was terrific! I definitely recommend this place.

The Lovinspoon is only an 8-minute walk from major hotels on O'Connell. The food is very tasty, typical, open-choice, not pre-packaged deals. I had a 3-egg omelet, Irish soda bread, scone butter and jelly, 2 lattes -all for 18 Euros. So, prices are very competitive with hotels for superior food. Service to the table (unlike major hotels). The soft jazzy saxophone and contemporary not stereotypical music is great for breakfast. Michael is a delight, serviable, amiable eye candy. Frequented by locals with a splattering of visitors. All-in-all, my first choice for breakfast in Dublin when I return.

    Irish breakfast! Regular size

After traveling through Galway and Cork, I was saving Dublin for last. I wanted to experience a full Irish breakfast and was glad I chose Lovinspoon! It was pretty empty mid-day but service was very friendly and I liked the casual cafe atmosphere. If you're like me - where your eyes are sometimes bigger than your stomach - this place is for you! They had smaller AND larger portion options for the Irish breakfast. My boyfriend decided to get a tuna melt (idk why) but he enjoyed that and his latte. I ordered the regular size Irish breakfast to share but it was still super filling and I enjoyed each component. It was shockingly cheap compared to other prices we'd see around the country. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reasonably-priced meal or specifically, Irish breakfast, while in Dublin!

    Lattes!

After dropping our bags at our hotel, we ran thru the rain to Lovinspoon. As soon as we entered we were met with kindness (and napkins to help us dry off). We ordered the small breakfast and lattes and it was AMAZING! The staff was so sweet and fun, and we felt so welcomed. Great prices, lovely people, amazing food.

Super fast service! Casual spot with a festive and upbeat atmosphere and a pretty diverse crowd. Great options for vegetarians and meat eaters. They also have a really good gluten free bread which sort of reminded me of irish soda bread.

Delicious breakfast platters for affordable prices!

I also had a specialty coffee which they make on the spot. There is a great selection of fresh and delicious speciality doughnuts and a "Donut of the day" but we were too late for that. We left and continued our walk only to stop for a minute and use a pail as our table. These donuts are good.... I mean really good. Ugh what was I thinking? My friend lives out in North Dublin and I live the other way, so we'd agreed to meet somewhere halfway between. The only place I could think of was the Kylemore and that was not really where I wanted to be with a hangover! After a bit of research I discovered there was a nice greasy spoon on Talbot Street. The food was perfect and the fry up soaked up the booze left in my stomach and a nice warm cup of coffee quickly brightened my head. I'd heard that the Pantry on Talbot Street was a good place for a fry-up so I decided to give it a shot so I could report back to you. The pantry looks very light and modern, a bit like a French bistro. The staff are friendly and know how to make a good cup of coffee and well, the fry-up is indeed very good. Nice and greasy- exactly the way it should be. The rashers were nice and crispy and the toast nearly perfect. So why am I only giving 3 stars? Well, I know where I can get the same just a wee bit cheaper and closer to home. Having said that, the Pantry is worth checking out if you're in the IFSC or near Connolly station.

The bread is top notch. As the lady who works here said to me before...... "None of that Cuisine De France shite in here luv" A real proper crusty roll for your lunch. I used to live around the corner from here and every Saturday morning I would get my brekkie roll (pictured above). The deli counter is very small and the sausages and rashers are out of a vacuum pack. I'm here for the bread, not the rashers and sausages so it does the trick. The rest of the fillings are much better than that, nice and fresh and really good coleslaw. The turnovers are my favourite (as well as the crusty rolls). I don't have a sweet tooth so the only time I would have any cakes from here is if we got one in the office for someone's birthday. Everyone in my office raves about the cakes however. Since this was my first meal in Dublin, I obviously opted for the best of the best, the goliath of breakfasts, if you will. The Mega Irish breakfast (€9.90) came with 2 over-medium eggs, 2 sausages, 2 slices of bacon, 2 hash browns, 2 black pudding thingies (sorry I'm such an ignorant American...), half a tomato, cup of beans, and 4 slices of toast. Wow. I somehow managed to finish the whole thing, and mega it was. I skipped lunch due to the sheer amount of food. The highlight was the sausage - they were plump, super juicy and very flavorful. The coffee(€2.50) which I always drink black, was also pretty good. The cost was so reasonable given the sheer amount of food.
