Great selection of fresh and delicious speciality doughnuts. I ordered the lemon cheesecake and although it was not packed with lemon flavor it was still very tasty. My sweet tooth was satisfied and I was later sad that I only got one. They had so many flavors. Stop in if you're in the area. Note: it's a small shop and seating is limited so it's best to get it to go.

This is a cute, busy little shop. The donuts look great! I wish I could say the same for the taste. I had the Black Forest donut. The dough was really nice. The filling was just ok and not enough of it. The chocolate was what was a bit off. The taste of it was ok, but the texture was not smooth. Maybe it had been stuck in the chiller? Not sure, but not impressed.

Apple & Cinnamon sugar fix! Beware of the frosting coating. It will flake off while you eat it so it makes a mess! :-)

This place is right where the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour starts! Stop here for something hot & sweet before you jump on the bus! We split the Apple & Cinnamon. Very messy sugar coating! Be sure to eat it somewhere the sugar can flake off and not make a mess!!!!! Good stuff! Definitely recommend this place for your sugar fix!!!! (12-29-21) Most Sincerely!

Pros: Fast and friendly Lots of donut options Great coffee and donut special for 5euros. USB outlets available to charge your phone while enjoying your donut Cons: Small seating area I had the Rafaello donut. It had a creamy coconut center. The americano coffee was good too.

Great little donut spot that is conveniently located near several hotels in the City Centre area of Dublin. On my arrival day, I was too beat to sit down for a real dinner, after being awake for 36 hours straight. So I had a donut for dinner, and it was amazing! Hot, fresh, yummy, and cheap! I went back a couple days later with some co-workers, closer to closing time. Between us, we got 4 donuts, they weren't hot, but they were still tasty. They do make the donuts throughout the day, but I'm sure there is some point that they stop so they won't have to throw them all out at closing time. This is also close to a lot of the tour bus pick up spots (Riu/Gresham Hotel, O'Donnell Street), and they're open early, so it's a great spot to grab something to take on the bus with you!

Quick stop for a couple of donuts and chai latte. The Chai was tasty. The donuts were good too. Tried the salted caramel, apple cinnamon, and a peanut glazed. All were good, but the salted caramel was the best. They has outdoor seating, which was good as it is a counter order and go type of place. Pro tip: ask if they have more fresh made of any flavor you want that looks out. They have loads more in the bakery!

There were two more before this photo, but they had to be eaten immediately so apologies

How do I even put into words the joy I felt when I saw donuts in the window. It was a solid 10:30pm and the hunt for donuts was looking bleak and we were on the way to cake, when suddenly we heard angels sing. We deliberated outside the window, but it was their warm embrace and alluring smell that drew us in. EXCELLENT customer service. We had a thoughtful conversation with the employee and he gave us a free donut, which was a surreal experience. 12/10 would recommend to anyone with a heartbeat (or not) (A poem by our friend. He wrote this on the bus ride back) As we paced north of the Liffy We found ourselves in quite a jiffy Hunger set in with a howl, our stomachs did give quite the growl But in the midst of our Dublin prowl, 'Lo - a shining light in the dark A donut filled vessel, a heavenly ark. Scents did waft from that lovely place That wrapped us in their warm embrace Drifting as if on a cloud, in we flew - And on seeing all the donuts then we knew That here indeed was a baking skill profound A paradise of desert we had found With joy we did enjoy our sugary prizes Greatest amongst Dublin's many surprises We recline now on chairs of wood and silk To enjoy our swell donuts and some milk

The Hot Donut never fails to hit the spot, between their range of hot chocolate flavours (including pop corn??) and the many flavours of giant fluffy donuts. The shop opens at 6 am so is always open on my way to work. The staff are always happy to greet you with a smile no matter what hour of the morning :) They also serve Marley Coffee but I'm not a coffee drinker so you'll have to try that for yourself.

Not a hot donut in fact. It was dry and stale. The filling was good; I had the Kinder bueno variety. The 3 is for having a good spread.

Ugh what was I thinking? My friend lives out in North Dublin and I live the other way, so we'd agreed to meet somewhere halfway between. The only place I could think of was the Kylemore and that was not really where I wanted to be with a hangover! After a bit of research I discovered there was a nice greasy spoon on Talbot Street. The food was perfect and the fry up soaked up the booze left in my stomach and a nice warm cup of coffee quickly brightened my head. Definitely worth it, though like Dani pointed out it's not convenient to most people stuck at home in their beds nursing a hangover!

I'd heard that the Pantry on Talbot Street was a good place for a fry-up so I decided to give it a shot so I could report back to you. The pantry looks very light and modern, a bit like a French bistro. The staff are friendly and know how to make a good cup of coffee and well, the fry-up is indeed very good. Nice and greasy- exactly the way it should be. The rashers were nice and crispy and the toast nearly perfect. So why am I only giving 3 stars? Well, I know where I can get the same just a wee bit cheaper and closer to home. Having said that, the Pantry is worth checking out if you're in the IFSC or near Connolly station.

"Ah howye luv, yer usual brekkie roll is it?"…read more "Yes please! I'm like a box of Lego. I'm in BITS!" "Late night?" "Yes! You better give me a turnover for tomorrow too, I feel a 2 day hangover approaching!" This is a real old Dublin bakery. The women that work here are real Dubs and I am sure if someone looked sideways at me they'd have my back! They say real Dublin Mammy things to ya. They're deadly! This place is tinchy tiny. The bread is top notch. As the lady who works here said to me before...... "None of that Cuisine De France shite in here luv" A real proper crusty roll for your lunch. I used to live around the corner from here and every Saturday morning I would get my brekkie roll (pictured above). The deli counter is very small and the sausages and rashers are out of a vacuum pack. I'm here for the bread, not the rashers and sausages so it does the trick. The rest of the fillings are much better than that, nice and fresh and really good coleslaw. The turnovers are my favourite (as well as the crusty rolls). I don't have a sweet tooth so the only time I would have any cakes from here is if we got one in the office for someone's birthday. Everyone in my office raves about the cakes however. If you're in town of a Saturday doing some shopping Northside then I would highly recommend you brave the nasty street that is Talbot Street and get some bread for your brekkie on Sunday morning. Totes amazeballs!

They've also got great toastie sandwiches and baguettes that are perfect for a cold Irish winter day! The prices make the food even more delicious! The cafe is very pretty, with plenty of different art pieces and decor hanging on the walls and cool furniture. It's quite small inside, with maybe a little more than 10 tables. If it's nice, you can also opt to sit on the small patio. It was a bit chilly when we were in the city, so we decided to sit inside. They have a small menu - you get to choose from a few variations of the Irish breakfast, scones, and breakfast sandwiches. My friend and I both got bacon breakfast sandwiches with the hashbrown and split a plain scone with butter and jam. We were both surprised at how large the scone was and were glad we ended up just sharing one. Even between the both of us we couldn't finish it. The breakfast sandwich was rather large as well and very filling - it hit the spot perfectly! We also got lattes which did the trick of waking us right up! The service seemed very rushed and scattered, but honestly we didn't really mind. We got our food very quickly, so we were in a great mood and left with happy bellies. Overall, if you're into cute cafes, good coffee and want to satisfy that Irish breakfast craving... come here!

I came in pretty early at 10am and there was no one there, yet (more crowds came in shortly after). It was solely manned by one cook in the open kitchen, and one host/server. Since this was my first meal in Dublin, I obviously opted for the best of the best, the goliath of breakfasts, if you will. The Mega Irish breakfast (€9.90) came with 2 over-medium eggs, 2 sausages, 2 slices of bacon, 2 hash browns, 2 black pudding thingies (sorry I'm such an ignorant American...), half a tomato, cup of beans, and 4 slices of toast. Wow. I somehow managed to finish the whole thing, and mega it was. I skipped lunch due to the sheer amount of food. The highlight was the sausage - they were plump, super juicy and very flavorful. The coffee(€2.50) which I always drink black, was also pretty good. The cost was so reasonable given the sheer amount of food. The restaurant itself is pretty artsy (ha), with some nice work on the walls and an eclectic hodge podge of furniture. Definitely check out if you're staying nearby!
