This lounge is located downstairs next to another lounge, which seems to fail in comparison. The space is quite small, but luckily it wasn't crowded when I came. They offer some snacks and a soup, but both the bar and food selection is limited. There's a few entree dishes you can order via QR code. I got the Chicken Tinga Tostada, Chicken Tacos, and Beef with Chips. The vegetable soup and mangos with leche dessert was also delicious. Passed thru here just 2 weeks ago and was again very pleased with this lounge. It was a Friday and I was heading from Cancun to Miami on American. My flight was delayed. I decided to go to The Lounge to kill a little time. I have Priority Pass (necessary for entry) and was welcomed inside. Multiple well dressed employees asked if I would like a drink or if I'd like to order food. I chose a super comfy chair by an electrical outlet and plugged in my iPhone. Sipped on a Coke Zero. The atmosphere was chill and I didn't feel like I was at the airport. Huge cudos to this lounge and how it is operated. This was one of the strangest airport lounge experiences that I have had. First of all, this lounge is before security, and is right by the bag drop off. This means that no matter how long you have to wait for your flight, you need to be aware that the timing to get through security can change at any point. Additionally, there is not a bathroom within the lounge, nor are there abundant outlets for charging electronics. The space itself is very small, and can't accommodate many people comfortably. Finally, there is not much for food options, and there were only 3 things on the menu to order. I will say, the staff were very kind and polite, and this review is a review of the services and amenities offered, and not on the employees in any way. Overall, as an airport lounge, it is better than nothing, but not by much. Free snack & a drink gave this its 2 stars, but I would hope to be able to use other lounges at this airport in the future. read more

So easy to check in and a decent sized lounge. There were food items to choose from and a menu to order hot items. Everything was so delicious. Priority pass lounge at the Cancun Airport. I can't complain too much, because it was easily accessible, clean and not crowded. It was a little different than I am used to, since it's located pre-security and right at the main entrance of the terminal. Also no bathrooms in the lounge (or were they just out of order?) and you have to walk out of the lounge to use the public bathrooms in the terminal. Not great, but better than no lounge access at all I suppose. read more

This isn't a great airport lounge. Do not book a flight to get access to this lounge. You can get access for 4 hours as of March 2024 with your priority pass. It was crowded at 6:30AM but the line moves fast and no one was without a seat. In the morning, there was fruit, cereal, little sandwiches available. Also, a full bar and plenty of drinks in the mini fridges with juice, bottles of water, and beer. I didn't eat and only took water bottles to go so nothing much to say about that except I wish there were more food options. This was one of two lounges we visited in CUN becauze we had a lot of time to kill before our flight back to JFK. We stopped in on a Sunday at 8 AM and our group was the only group there at the time. They have some food items that you order, so I like that they go to the back and prep it for you instead of having it sit out all day. I ordered the salsiccia (basilly cut up hot dogs), which I didn't really care for, and some mushroom quesadillas and soup, which were actually pretty good. They did not skimp on the cheese for the quesadillas, and this was very comforting with the soup. It's a pretty good lounge and definitely better than any U.S. lounge. I'm not sure how packed it normally gets but the lounge is pretty small, so just keep that in mind. If it's full, there's always the Mera Business Lounge next door. read more

I would never pay money to be here but I have priority pass so I went at the beginning of 2021 and recently in Novemeber 2023. The lounge is tiny but I found a spot both times. The couch was well worn and the adjacent outlet barely charged my phone. On my second visit, the bathrooms were out of commission. Based on prior reviews, doesn't seem like it is a priority to repair them quickly. The "food" served is embarassing, even pics of the food menu from several months ago are a little more substantial. I did have arroz con lech and flan desserts, which were decent, but didn't bother with the other meager offerings. In 2021 I had a couple of glasses of wine. I did not see wine on display and my inquiry with the bartender was met with a stern "No". I give this place 2 stars instead of 1 because I was able to have some tea and the espresso martini hit the spot (I had 2, the first weirdly had random ice cube chunks in it). read more

All the women's toilets (only two) were out of order and the family bathroom had a huge industrial push cart inside blocking the sink and the children's changing table. One tiny sink and I can only imagine how dirty the shower is. I waited for the family rest room for 10 minutes and an employee came out. Toilet seat was up and no cleaning supplies inside. No one that works here looked happy and not one smile. I would like to be contacted by priority pass immediately corporate. It felt very unsafe to be here. Employers didn't wash their hands and kept touching their faces. Children everywhere and so congested with people. I felt like I was in a plane with a mini lounge. DO NOT come here. We were here for 25 minutes and I will never return. read more

I reviewed this lounge 10 months ago and made comments about the tiny toddler-sized quesadillas, average chilaquiles, and the seats being stained / broken -- but it looks like all these quirks were fixed! Seats were in much better condition, the chilachilles now had their great green sauce and thus were THE BOMB (and served hottt and sooo cheesy! Love meee lots of Oaxaca cheese), and their good service was even better! Excellent! We were checked on very often, but without being too intrusive. Came around 7 a.m. on a Sunday and only 3 other travelers besides my husband and me. Fantastic :) Here you go The Lounge, you got your 5 stars now! Well earned. read more

It's a good domestic lounge for domestic flights. I like the new mobile order system they have so you don't have to stalk a server to help you. Only downfall is if you go late a lot if their food choices are gone. Although the unlimited liquor helps. I must mention the food isn't anything to write home about. Once I felt like they just threw stuff together. It legit felt like a struggle meal. One advice is to monitor the board bc they don't make announcements at all. Once seated, it took some time to get the attention of the staff to order food. Very limited food/snack options but full bar for drinks. No food or bar service, there are only water, soda and coffee. Only peanuts and slice bread available if you want to consider that as food offerings. There are a total of 5 staff members and they are all inside one of the private rooms inside the lounge eating chips, drinking soda and watching something loudly on their phone. They took in a large crate of chips and other snacks but seem to be enjoying them by themselves. From the look of things, better snacks are for the staff and NOT for the guests. The bathroom is dirtier and in worse condition than the ones by the gates. This has to be the worse lounge I have ever been to! read more

I never have high expectations for an airport lounge, especially one that access is included for free with a credit card, so overall this place was not bad. We visited during a busy time and had to wait outside for a couple people to leave to gain access, and then had to wait again for a bit to find a spot to sit. They had all the usual items for drinks, athough hubby was a little disappointed in the lack of ice and the beers were not very cold. For food the ordering system was quite convenient and quick to order items via your phone. We got the Tacos de Carne, Sopes Con Pollo, & Birria De Res and while they didn't compare to the amazing food we had suring the previous 2 weeks of our Yucatan travels, they were all decent. Very mediocre and small lounge. Feels like sitting in an airport cafe. And this is the lounge that British Airways uses for Club World and Gold members. It is also landside, before security. But security is usually quick, 5-10 minutes. And then another 5-10 minutes to the gates. Food wise, there's a pitiful three options. Mashed potatoes, sad looking tacos, and another Mexican dish. Some processed cake slices in plastic bags, and dodgy looking fruit and salad bowls. At least drinks they have a full bar. No non-alcoholic beer though. Huge cocktail menu, impressive. But only one non-alcoholic cocktail, a Shirley Temple. Bartender refused to make anything else. We utilized this lounge in the Cancun airport because we had a delayed flight. We were able to access it through our Priority Pass membership. This lounge is definitely on the smaller side of lounges - but it had a few features that I really appreciated. One - there is a kids play area. I was traveling with two littles (ages 3 and 4) and they were able to take their coloring supplies in there and sit at their own kids table and color. It worked out so well since this lounge was way over crowded. Two - each table had their own QR code that you could scan and order food from. Their menu has a great variety - however it was definitely lounge food quality (which I place a notch above airport food lol) Three - the bathrooms were clean and they even have a separate family room with a changing pad. This is always a bonus. Four - they have a full bar that is super quick. Some cons - as stated above, it is small. It was extremely crowded when we went - probably due to the amount of delayed flights the Cancun airport is known to have. The food also took a hot minute to come out - if you are in a hurry I would suggest using the counter where they have a variety of pre made sandwiches, soups, etc instead of using the QR code ordering system. We will be coming back to Cancun in November and if we have a delayed flight again, we will definitely be using this lounge again. read more

1 star for the beef taco that was at least passable. Otherwise would have 0 (and cuz I have to give 1 minimum). Showed up with Priority Pass. Was denied entry by this B named Victoria (or something that started with a V). Was told lounge too busy - it did seem on the more crowded side, okay I get that. I asked if any waiting list or time estimate. Was told no. She was just trying to get rid of me. I stand off to the side, not quite believing it and also wanting to see what happens. Behind me in line was a couple who can be described Mexican-appearing, Spanish-fluent, with boarding passes CUN-MEX, and also a Priority Pass card. They got let in (and nobody left the lounge in the meantime). As you might imagine, I was f-ing furious. I straight up just got profiled and denied because of that. Hop back in line to give her an earful. She sees me and says "oh sorry, I thought you had left." Unfortunately, that should not have factored into the equation at all because the problem was that she denied me in the first time yet let in a party of 2 immediately after me. She let me in, as she could probably see I was pissed. I elected to not get security called on me and didn't say what I felt like saying. Train some of your employees to not be useless racists. Food selection overall is sad. At least the Wifi works. I would never willingly pay out of pocket for this place. Such a disgrace. read more

This wretched lounge is part of the Priority Pass network in the Cancun airport. At 1 pm they have a teenager DJ spinning thundering ear splitting disco music. Are they serious? His audience goes to raves, they don't have Diners Club or Platinum cards. There is a stunning lack of supervision and adult management. There is zero possibility to take a business call or even listen to a voicemail. We left to wait out our long layover on the concourse where it is quieter and normal. Just bizarre. read more

Wow I know some of the reviews were bad but this place is baaad! It is filthy, they have no alcohol except for lukewarm beer. Ordered the beef tacos as there were only two choices - tacos or a cheese quesadilla. There was a tab for postres but nothing listed to order, The sad little bar was closed but there was next to nothing behind the bar. Fortunately no screaming kids like other people have posted! Staff does seem to be working hard. Only had to wait 10 minutes to get in. Wait it has a Christmas tree! Happy holidays...ok I am back - I ordered the beef tacos but they brought me the cheese quesadillas instead. When I asked if they had run out of beef they said I had ordered the cheese quesadillas, which I had not. I should have stuck with the quesadillas though because when they brought me the beef tacos they were so salty I could not eat them. I saw some sandwiches at the buffet bar but didn't try them - I have lost my nerve and am just drinking models especially which was nice and cold from the refrigerator. Again staff is working hard getting the limited menu out to people but seriously this is the worst lounge I've ever been in.
