This is just getting better and better every time Icome to this lounge at least 5 times a tear and I looooooove it is clean, plenty of sitting, good food and drinks, fast internet and service is always friendly and nice.

The lounge is not big but it is fully equipped and has a great variety of delicious snacks and drinks. There was a waitlist when I went, but the wait was totally worth it. Staffs were professional and tentative. I had a good rest while waiting for my flight.

Calling all American Express Platinum cardholders! At Mera Business Lounge in Cancun Airport, your luxury travel experience just got even better. Flash your Platinum card at the door and enjoy complimentary access for yourself plus two lucky guests. The lounge offers a perfect blend of comfort and style, with plush seating areas and plenty of space to unwind before your flight. I ate chilaquiles, eggs, sausage, and sweet pan dulce. I washed it all down with a beer and a hot tea. It was a breakfast fit for a traveler on a mission!

What the heck. 5 stars. The key is to make a reservation. I shouldn't have just told that secret. So if you have been to Cancun Airport you know that it is mad crazy and finding seating during Prime Times is difficult. The food is overpriced and average or below average. So this is a great little place to get out of all that madness. You can get in free if you have an American Express Platinum or some other credit card I can't remember. However if you don't have a reservation you may have to wait. This Lounge is very small. I'm going to kind of compare to the lounge in Terminal 4 because my friend was in that Lounge as I was in this Lounge in terminal 3. So Terminal 3 Lounge is very small and does not have all of the amenities that the terminal 4 Lounge has. Terminal 3 lounge has more comfortable seating and it's all you can eat and drink that's on their menu for $33 if reserved online. This does include alcoholic drinks and kind of like Buffet type food but they do change it out very frequently. Terminal 4 has more of a variety with grab n go soda and beer. You can also order from a menu. I had a really good turkey sandwich on a croissant, a seafood coquette and some chicken tenders. I had a nice cold beer to go with it so I was good. You get 3 hours to use this Lounge which is about right because everyone gets to the airport about 3 hours early. If you tip just a little bit then you won't have to get up and get your own drinks. If not you can go up and the bartender there will make whatever you would like as long as he has the ingredients. The staff was nice and the bathroom was clean. As long as I'm comfortable and out of the madness that is Cancun Airport I am happy. Go check it out but don't tell anybody else LOL

Of the lounges I've got into with my LoungeKey/DragonPass access, this is by far the nicest one. Mera Business Lounge in Cancun's Terminal 4 is classy, it's beautiful, and it's got great food and amenities. We got in around 9AM and the lounge was practically empty, which was perfect. The food selection was pretty decent. There was limited hot breakfast food, but had croissant sandwiches, assorted fruit, and little desserts out. Everything is free with the standard lounge access pass, except for premium drinks from the bar. They do have some beers out in the free fridge for grabs. Staff had told us that we had access to everything, which I assume includes the sleeping pods as well. I didn't check them out as you need to ask staff for a key, but it's nice to have. Interestingly, they didn't have coffee or water out and instead we had to ask the bar. Still free, but just an extra step. The giant Nespresso machine dispensing lattes and cappuccinos was a fancy touch.

This lounge is ok. It's in terminal 3 near C gates. At the time of my visit, it was busy. We had to wait 90 minutes to get in. They let everyone come in at a certain time only. I recommend checking back a minute or two before the time specified. Service is good. You have to order food and drinks with someone rather than self-serve. It's a small lounge. There aren't many tables for large parties. There are, instead, large seats with small stools that can act as tables. I looked around and there weren't too many outlets. If you want to reserve a time online, you have to pay $33 per person (or get a promo code).

Nice spacious lounge to hang out before a flight. Our group of 7 (we each have our own Priority Passes) came in on a Sunday at 9 in the morning. It wasn't too packed yet but it does get more packed in the afternoon. We stayed for a few hours and watched the buffet selection change from breakfast to lunch (which we just made the cut off for before we had to leave). For brekkie, they have hash browns, fake eggs, fresh juices, and fruit. For lunch, there was rice, chicken, mini sandwiches and wraps. Although it wasn't the best lounge food, I appreciate the variety and having a clean place to relax before hopping on a plane.

Very busy today

Great job considering a full house of after holiday travelers. I'm free here with my American Express card but even if you had to pay the $40 it's the Best Buy in the airport .

Great lounge for a reasonable price. $35 per person and I highly recommend making reservations. We made them a couple days before leaving and saved ourselves the trouble of waiting on a list. I overheard other people asking to get in and the wait was over 90 minutes. They have a decent little menu and everything on it is free with admission. The seats are nice and the air conditioning was nice and cool.

Very spacious airport lounge. A lot of seating available. Some hot food options as well as cold cuts, salami, cheese and some croissant sandwiches. A large variety of cold drinks. Very clear man's attentive staff. You can stay a maximum of 3 hours.

This is a beautiful lounge. Very new, modern and clean. They even give you a plastic bag to put your facemask in. The food menu is pretty limited. They had five options. I opted for the burger which was pretty damn good. They kept the wine flowing as well (only two red options: a Cabernet and a Merlot). The bread pudding was so good, I had to go back for seconds. The service was fast and friendly, but in full disclosure, we were just about the only two people in the line. The WiFi worked just fine. Charging stations / outlets seemed a bit limited.

Great place to come and relax before your flight. Small but efficient. Part of the lounge program with Amex, Capitol One.

I wasn't sure what to expect. I will say it's better than I anticipated…read more The set up seems pretty efficient really. You land and enter on one side of the airport and arrive, enter, and depart from the other. This makes things pretty easy for customs and such. There are three terminals now and another one is being constructed as I type this review. Our driver told us all about it on the way back. Very chatty dude! I had been warned about all of the predatory tactics by the taxi and ride folks outside so I was prepared and not bothered by them. If you come here, take note of this. You can and will get scammed if you allow yourself to become a victim. Luckily we had prearranged the rides and were looking for very specific attire as well as signs for us to find. Just note this as others have said over and over. I will say it again for those in the back! There are tons of people waiting out front trying to get you to use their services. Those services vary a great deal in scammy/usefulness/end up dead in a ditch. Don't do the last one. No Bueno. My departure was interesting as we did not know what gate we were going to until about 10 minutes before boarding. Luckily the place is not that big so it was not an issue. We got there a couple hours early when we were leaving. There is plenty to do and lots to see while here. Have no fear! Consumerism is alive and well in Cancun Mexico! The whole place runs on it! Margaritaville is always a good time if you partake in the libations. They have a Guy Firebird or whatever there too. The duty free is only a deal because of reduced taxation. I found the items to be slightly higher than normal retail, at least for liquor. All in all it did what I needed it to do. Fly in, fly out, not get searched on the way in, or the way out. Not sure if I will come back to Cancun or not. I may have had my fill. We will see if I can score another 100% paid vacation next year for work! If so, I will see you again Amigos!! If not, it will be ok! ;) '26 - 51

Arriving at this airport was a straightforward process as well as going through immigration. Our…read moreluggage took longer than expected and they had 3 flights scheduled for the same belt. That resulted in an overcrowded situation and a long wait to get our suitcases. I realized when I arrived to my hotel that my suitcase was opened at some point but nothing was taken. Exiting the airport will face you with tons of people trying to sell you tours or other services They will ask you questions or attempt to walk you to their desk. I personally just kept on walking as I knew my transfer was outside. If you have a transfer scheduled, you might want to find out the number where they will be located as they have over 60 different areas or numbers where you can find your transfer as well as many people trying to offer you a taxi and other services. Some drivers may be waiting with a signbut just be aware ofnhow to locate your transfer before you arrive as you might be bombarded by people attempting to help you. Checking in with Jetblue was very similar to the process in places like Boston where you print your boarding pass and drop off your luggage. Except they added zip ties to our luggage in Cancun. They were in place when we got to our final destination. Our terminal had many food and souvenir options available. As usual, expect to pay more for items at airports but that's the same everywhere. Gates are announced about an hour prior to departure so you might wait around at a central location until they are announced. In our case, the boarding gate printed on our ticket was not listed on the screen once we entered the gate area. We received a gate change text and saw a gate announcement on the screen an hour before departure as they don't make many intercom announcements. So don't trust your ticket and check an hour before for gate confirmation.

Personally, I always pick Air Margaritaville because the service is dependable and the food is decent. There is also a Bubba Gump's and more. There are places to buy snacks for your flight. There are "duty free" mega stores with everything you can think of. There is a shoe store! There is even a Ray-Ban store with crazy prices (think Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer sunglasses Gen 1 for $700 when Sunglasses Hut USA retails them for under $299). There are lots of Mexican souvenir shops, but also with crazy prices. Tshirts were in the $32-$42 range. Even fridge magnets are $7+. There is ALWAYS a line for restrooms. Cleanliness varies by location. Mera Business Lounge sucks. Always a line - unless you are paying. If you are using your credit card perk for entry, they won't have a place for you. Paying $35? Go right in! Pretty much everything here closes between 7-8pm. If your flight is delayed or later than 8pm, there is no place to get food or drinks. Plan accordingly.

I didn't care to eat at restaurants that I could eat at home. Chairs at the gates are hard plastic so not very comfy when you think that you're getting on an international flight in a few hours. Watch out for the "interviewers" there. They act like they're in an official role, and maybe they are but literally they're walking up to random people and asking about where they stayed, where they're going, for their boarding pass and passport, and other personal questions. I can't believe people actually hand over their documents, fully in possession of some stranger in the open. They have nothing in hand to record or aggregate responses. Yeah, no thanks. Just walk away. My personal info stays that way.
