Ate here after my square dancing class and was not disappointed. Nothing was open past 9PM that we wanted to eat at, so we came here with hope that there would be filling food. Turns out that the kitchen was closed, so they only had a "late night menu" available, which consisted of like 7 different fried dishes lol ... blurry picture bc I was hungry Got the $7 crispitos, which are 2 cheesy daquitos that were pretty good. Also got the potstickers, which I swear are ling ling ones from Costco that they likely just popped into the air fryer. Good, yes, but that was like $11! bruh service was good, too. I am surprised that there was not commotion at this spot, especially because there is karaoke. I feel as though the people working here are better off at dine-in or take-out restaurants because I just did not get the bartender vibes. This place is quirky and filled with characters! My brother and I came by one night for a couple of drinks and got to see some folks karaoke, dress up in club wear (despite this not being a club), and just generally enjoy the kick out of themselves. Dive bar vibes. It served as an OK place for me & the girls to chill, drink & dance on a Saturday night. The DJ did darn good with music assignment for our crowds taste (late 20s, early 30s, hip-hop, rap, throwbacks [back that azz up, cupid shuffle, etc]). His tip jar asking $5 for requests was meh. The drinks are generous but the line gets super backed up- they only had one bartender. She was great but just too many people for one bartender. Breakfast review only: I visited the Log Cabin for breakfast based on a recommendation elsewhere online. They have a senior breakfast special weekdays 9anm-11. On my visit there was a large crowd of seniors at opening. They seemed to be regulars. The place largely cleared out by 10:15. So unless you want a long wait for your food, don't come here first thing. Food was mediocre, portions large, but I don't like the way they do their hash browns. Place smells like a bar, so not a very pleasant setting for breakfast. I guess you have to be careful about what online information you believe (except for this review) read more

I haven't been here in a while, but the service has gone really down hill. I came in at about 10:30am and sat down. The waitress had one big table and a bunch of little tables and there was only one waitress today. She came and took my drink order and gave me a menu. She brought me coffee and then asked me if I wanted cream I said I did and I wanted sugar. She comes back, gives me sugar which clearly had coffee dripped inside and a spoon that was dirty. She also brought me cream and sugar that another patron was using. Not fresh cream, not single packed cream, just some cream that a dude at the bar was using. I'm already sick so I just kinda ignore it. But then I notice the spoon she's given me has something the dishwasher could not remove on its own. I order my meal and wait. And wait. And wait. I'm already waiting for thirty minutes but i notice what comes out is a wreck. I asked for light hash browns, hash browns are dark. Ham steak is dry to the bone and has no sections that remotely mimic the juiciness of ham steaks had previously. There is no jam for my toast. I swallow it down as much as I can cause I got a twelve hour shift to get to and it's now or never for food. Then I get up to pay. She didn't bring me a check but I tend to leave pretty quickly after ordering. I wait again. She isn't around. I'm still waiting. People at the bar are now looking around for the missing waitress. I'm getting concerned. Am I going to have to break down the bathroom door and haul her out and perform CPR? Has she just gotten tired of it all and left completely? No. She is outside smoking. The cook is dinging his bell impatiently to let her know that food is ready. He has rung that damn bell six times already to the point that I want to go back there, pick up the food, and ask "Who's missing their food?" I liked coming here once in a while for breakfast but today was awful. I even heard the big table say they were just gonna go to the nisqually restaurant by the freeway next time since they're service wasn't that great. I went to The Log Cabin Tavern one morning with a friend. I have lived in Lacey for four years and I had never been there before. We each ordered omelettes and I ordered another breakfast to go. The omelettes were delicious and very generous portions at a reasonable price! There was a mistake with the bill and I ended up paying $130.00 for the three breakfasts but, I didn't realize it until it cleared with my bank. I went back to the restaurant and the fixed it for me. We eat here a lot for dinner cause the steaks are very good and good price. We decided to try Friday am and waitress wasn't overly friendly at first but got better by the time we were done. But I had also paid my bill and asked if I could get $20 on a pull tab she rudely slaps my change down and says fuck no! Screw that! I'm not doing any pull tabs today and then laughs and walks off. So ya if she is working when we come back for breakfast we will leave. Actually the food is good and so are prices and wait staff at night are awesome and know us well. I am a medium rare kinda girl and it was cooked more medium. I asked for some cottage cheese for my baked potato and they charged me 2.25! Wow I can get a 16 oz tub for less then that. Well, 2 meals for 2 --very forgettable. Today's cheddar cheese burger, ordered, "no log sauce, sub cheddar, please, please, please, juicy rare-med rare & extra pickles"= EPIC FAIL--came out: with ICE COLD shredded mystery white and orange 'product' completely unmelted cheese, the burger was medium plus temp and "ha ha ha"on the customer, so MANY extra pickles the juice destroyed the bottom bun and made the mess basically unedible. If I hadn't been screamingly hungry I would have just sent it back and ordered the Friday special of fish and chips but I suspected and feared retaliation. I didn't take it out on the server as I've worked in the industry (tipped her 28%) but did tell her what was wrong when she finally brought me a box (my dog will love it) . I'll eat the pickles as a probiotic and the only saving grace of this fiasco. A compted drink might have been a nice touch -- I didn't ask and sure didn't get any compensation. My partner and I stopped in one rainy day while we were out working together. He had a western burger and I had the fish burger. My partner loved the both the presentation and the flavor of his meal.
