First of all, the contact I was given was terrible at responding and communication. When I did speak to him, he tells me to meet with him and he'll work with us. Ok. Finally made an appointment with another person, she tells me, we do allow outside vendors when I told her we would rather go somewhere else. She gave me some BS excuse and then tells me they can't do anything about the balloon decor price even though the other person said he'd help. These people are disorganized and don't even speak to each other. She never mentioned other things paying extra for a seat on the stage. We left without a solution. I found another decor person who did a fabulous job at a much lower cost. The day of the party, the owner comes and says why didn't we use their vendor, they don't allow outside vendors. Like, REALLY? You people need to get your act together. And then we can't use the chaise because it "belongs to them" and we have to pay extra. For an ugly, dirty, old broken piece of crap. The management people are the WORST! Then they set up the tables wrong, wrong size, wrong chairs, wrong color napkins. They run out pina colada mix not even half way through. This place is run down, dirty everything. The chairs, linens, the doors are broken, it's so ghetto yet they have the audacity to act like a-holes. The only good thing, Sima the event manager and her staff were great! She was so helpful and kind, loved her. The rest of you at this hellhole suck!

The venue is not far from my home in Mineola (which is also a positive.) A very easy ride and I self parked in the large lot behind the CC. I love photographing smaller (under 250 people) events. It almost like you get to meet all the guests and picture taking becomes almost personal. This venue is large enough for that party and easy to navigate while photographing people in the different rooms. The team here is AMAZING. They were all incredibly helpful and friendly. My group shot (picture displayed) was different than I expected and they were kind enough to give me an oversized ladder to use. Food was terrific. Fresh and tasty... What needed to be hot was... and what needed to be cold was just that. There was plenty of food and I'm very confident that no one could have left hungry. The venue itself is gorgeous with a warm, slightly rustic, homey charm, but the real standout is the staff. They are some of the kindest, most accommodating people you will ever meet. We didn't even bother touring other venues because we just knew this was the place--and we were 100% right. We worked mostly with James and John, who ran our wedding, and they were both phenomenal. James in particular deserves all the praise in the world. He handles so many details behind the scenes and somehow always seems to be in the exact place you need him. He listened closely to what we wanted and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. He was even completely prepared for emergencies, pulling out Advil at one point and a tide pen at another... and right before our ceremony, my husband accidentally got water on his vest. James took it, dried it, and brought it back looking perfect just in time. It was such a small moment, but it speaks volumes about how dedicated he is. By the end of the night, it honestly felt like James and John were family. We're already joking about finding excuses to go back just to say hello. We had a very mixed experience with Exclusive Events. We genuinely enjoyed working with them during…read moremuch of the planning process, and some of the décor they provided for our earlier wedding events was beautiful. Unfortunately, our experience with the florals and décor for our main wedding reception was extremely disappointing. Throughout the planning process, we provided clear inspiration photos and repeatedly communicated that we wanted an organic burgundy/maroon floral palette. Those colors and floral styles were also reflected in the proposal we signed. During our final design discussions, we were even shown arrangements similar to what ultimately appeared in the ballroom and specifically said that was NOT the look we wanted. We had our first meeting with them in January of 2026 for a September 2026 wedding, so they had 8 months to work on our event. Despite that, many of the reception arrangements were dominated by bright red roses, white and green hydrangeas, eucalyptus, and other elements that looked dramatically different from the burgundy/maroon vision we had discussed. The difference was immediately noticeable on the wedding day. We raised the issue before the reception, and while the team attempted to make adjustments, including altering some of the florals, it was far too late to recreate the design we had actually requested. Staff from our venue ultimately helped rearrange and replace some of the floral elements so that the ballroom could be ready for our reception. This was 10 minutes before the ballroom opened, imagine how terrible that felt as a couple on our wedding day? What made the situation particularly frustrating was that we had followed up in advance regarding flower availability and had been told that most of the flowers had been found and that similar substitutes would be used for anything unavailable. We were never told beforehand that the overall floral palette would be substantially different. Communication in the weeks leading up to the wedding was also much more difficult than we expected. We frequently felt that we were the ones following up to keep important details moving, including our final design consultation and other logistical matters. We also had concerns with some of the bridesmaids' bouquets and other décor details. When we later raised these concerns, we felt that too much responsibility was being placed on outside floral vendors or other circumstances rather than on the company we had hired to oversee and execute the décor. To their credit, Exclusive Events did offer us a $2,500 refund, and we do appreciate that gesture. However, considering the amount we paid for the reception floral décor and how significantly the final arrangements differed from what we had discussed and approved, we did not feel that amount reasonably reflected the problem. We calculated the total of the incorrect florals, and it totaled to over $10,000. I would've given more than 1 star, however the way they treated this matter afterwards was extremely unprofessional. There was no remorse or sympathy, just stale chatGPT generated responses to our concerns. There wasn't even an apology on the day of, they just repeatedly made it seem as if my wife was being unreasonable. This review is not meant to suggest that everything Exclusive Events did was poor. Some of their work was genuinely beautiful, and we had positive experiences with them earlier in the wedding weekend. But the reception florals were one of the most important design elements of our wedding, and unfortunately they were also the area where we felt the execution fell furthest from what we had agreed upon..
