Sonam and her Exclusive Events decor team made all our wedding dreams come true!! We hired Sonam for our Sangeet, Hindu wedding ceremony, and reception - all three events were spectacularly decorated. From the start of the wedding planning process, we were looking for a decorator that would be detailed-oriented, communicative, and collaborative as my family had really intricate ideas for decor specifically. We chose Sonam ultimately because from our initial call, she was not only professional and organized, but made an effort to make us feel welcome and that this process would be a personal, unique one tailored to us. From the moment we hired her, Sonam was focused & patient (sat in multiple hours-long sessions with us in person, over the phone, and on Zoom), organized, and increidbly creative. We shared our visions with her, and she lent ideas based off of those visions to make the final products even better than we imagined. She also made herself available any time we had questions or wanted to review/change a part of the plan - even leading up to the wedding, when things were really busy for her and for us. On our Sangeet night, inclement weather forced us to change from an outdoor to indoor venue very last minute. Sonam and her team not only made sure this was done in time, but she completely adapted our original decor plan (which was dependent on the first venue's layout) to the new venue without ever needing to consult us. This is the trust she really built with us, and when we arrived early that day she herself was moving things and running around to make sure everything was perfect before the guests arrived. Not one guest knew/could guess we ever had to switch plans last minute, and in fact raved about the Sangeet decor. That's how seamlessly she switched things over, without compromising quality in the slightest! For my wedding ceremony, I envisioned a natural, ethereal look with flowers and greenery - when I went alone to look at the mandap that morning, I was floored. The floral/greenery work, along with every detail throughout the venue, was so cohesive and just stunning. For our reception, Sonam added additional details - extra fresh flowers, flowers in our cake to bring it all together, flowers for our photobooth backdrop, and many more items - to just add that extra oomph. This is what makes her and her team so unique - they go the extra mile because they really love their work and want to make it the best it can be. This was the first big event my family has ever put together, and we were nervous going in about finding vendors we could trust that would execute to the fullest. Sonam not only beat our expectations, but even kept us calm and collected in our design meetings. She listened to all our creative ideas, and worked WITH us to elevate them and make them even better. We had a blast working with her, and by our wedding really felt close to her personally. We will absolutely be turning back to Exclusive for any decor needs in the future. We just booked Exclusive Events for our 2017 wedding and so far just from the initial consultations, we are extremely happy. We spoke to multiple DJ's and Decor companies, but did not experience the same level of respect or comfort as we did at Exclusive Events. Ricky and Sonam are both a pleasure to deal with. They really care and try to help their clients in every possible way (they can even recommend some of the best food spots)! What we are finding to be one of the most refreshing qualities is how extremely organized they are in planning and the time they take to make sure they understand every possible detail to make all of your wedding events special. We are excited to see what the next year enfolds and the final results of their work, but have been recommending them to tons of friends already! We will definitely update this after our events take place, but felt the need to recognize both of them based on our experience thus far. Update! We had the pleasure of working with Exclusive Events for our wedding reception 2 weeks ago. We worked with Ricky, who is the new owner of Exclusive. They were patient with us from the beginning. Ricky had a sit-down with us during our initial appointment and walked us through each little part of the décor. We had Exclusive Events do our stage decorating, lighting, centerpieces, DJ services, and photo booth services - so as you can see, they were in charge of the most biggest projects of the event. I was a bit worried at first because I couldn't imagine how the décor would look based on our color selections. But I was left speechless on the day of the event. Everything came together so beautifully! Ricky and his team arrived on-time and worked non-stop to make sure the place looked beautiful! Our hall was completely transformed! We were open with Ricky about our not-so-big budget for the reception, and he worked with us to make sure we still got what we were looking for while staying in our budget. Even with our not-so-big budget, we were still able to get some of the best looking centerpieces and decorations. And the photo booth was a big hit at our reception! Ricky himself was the DJ at our event and worked with our families to set up an itinerary and made sure the night went very smooth. During our meetings with Exclusive Events, we sat with both Ricky and his wife (who also owns a Desi clothing store in the area), and we discussed event details in a way that made us feel part of their family. Very bad. Unprofessional. If I had the chance again I would not hire this vendor. I PAID the FULL AMT on the contract and he did not deliver as promised. He basically decided to do this own thing on my wedding day and cut me short on aisle drapes and decor which we had discussed. No point in paying the full amount and you do not receive what you ask for. I would definitely go to another decor person and when I confront all his shortcomings,. all he can do is defend himself and them apologize and offer compensation, did I receive any sort of compensation..NO. He cannot bring my wedding day back or the decor. I agree with the person below me.... these guys are not professional, they even left my money box on the floor when we all walked in!! After seeing Exclusive Events work at one of my customer's wedding I decided to hire Exclusive events for my brother in law's wedding and we couldn't have been happier. We hired them for decor and also for event coordination/planning only for, on the day of event. They provided an entire schedule of what the day was going to be like and It provided us with a lot of context and had us thinking about things we hadn't before. Exclusive Events handled everything from decor to coordination with baker, dj, caterer perfectly. They coordinated with other vendors and venue and kept us in loop too. They were instrumental in making our event a success. They made sure everything was on time and we were where we needed to be when we needed to be there. My Husband and I worked with the New Owner, Ricky at Exclusive Events for our engagment. Ricky and his team did an amazing job as our decorator, so much so that we constantly have our friends and family come up to us asking us about who the decorator was. He was just so easy to work with since day one. He is professional with his work and will make sure you love what you are going to get. We were having a hard time imagining how our backdrop would look with our color scheme, and so he went right to work. Ricky didn't hesitate once and called us in a week later to view a "sample" backdrop at his place just so we would get an idea of how it would look at the actual venue (which really helped us decide some last minute changes that we wanted to make). The final outcome was just spectacular, it was beyond what we had imagined it to look like. Ricky also works very hard with your budget and tries to incorporate whatever he can to best fit all your needs. I would defintely recommend Ricky and his team for all your events. Just one word....HORRIBLE!!! Siraj (the owner of the place) is the worst person to do business with. Highly disrespectful and unprofessional. I was introduced to this place thru a friend and I really thought it will be a great idea to do business with someone who I know through a friends reference. Clearly I was wrong! I went here to check out decor for my wedding and Mehndi venues. Initially, I was satisfied with having Exclusive being my decor. During our 1st two meetings, Siraj gave me some final prices which I thought were decent, but after doing my research, I figured he was charging way extra and not delivering what I wanted. I went back and asked for a better price/ offer. But at our third meeting, I heard a lot of ignorance in Siraj's tone and he basically seemed annoyed (why? Just because I wasn't willing to finalize the deal under a lot of pressure from him and needed more time before booking his company to do my wedding decoration) Well, I'm sorry if I needed more time to decide on one of the biggest part of my wedding!!! Siraj's tone was rude and sounded as if I was bringing a big downfall in his business by not putting in my deposit - At our final meeting he had another customer sitting in his office at the time of my appointment and when the customer asked if he had to go, Siraj looked at me and said 'oh don't worry - she can wait' and continued talking. Finally, after waiting for extra half hour, without any apology, he acknowledged my presence. When I was about to put my deposit, I was told ( with a lot of attitude and sarcasm) that I can't have the furniture that I picked for the stage initially cuz I was 'late' - he kept rubbing it on my face that I should've put $$$ few weeks ago. At that point I was so extremely frustrated and just decided to leave without further discussion. Later I texted Siraj and politely told him that I want to shop around more, so please don't hold that day for me. In return I received some insulting/threatening messages from him saying that I wasted his time and he is going to call my Mehndi hall and tell them to charge me extra price since in his mind I had his discount because the owner of that venue was his friend. I was SHOCKED! This to me was NOT professional at all. Like who does that? Threatening your customers? Insulting them just because they decided to do business some place more affordable? I am so disappointed and disgusted by his behavior that I don't even have any words for it. He tried his best to ruin my wedding events. Went extra mile to call his friend so he can charge me extra (who btw is Thomas at Cotillion) Thank God his stupidity and low end tricks didn't work and everything went extremely well for my events. I ended up having Stylish Events and Mehak floral - they did an extraordinary job and I was more than satisfied/happy with their services! Only hire Siraj/exclusive events if you want your event to be ruined and want to be treated like crap... HORRIBLE PLACE, TERRIBLE OWNER!!! read more
