Sara was quick to immediately help us select our major vendors right after we booked our venue. In what would have felt like a sea of options, Sara narrowed down for us who the best vendors would be for our desired vibe and venue. Her institutional knowledge, vendor connections, and innate ability to see (and ultimately execute) the ambiance you want to create is uncanny. Sara's checklist of wedding tasks kept us on track so that we never felt stressed in what is inherently a stressful process, and she was with us every step of the way. Not only did we have countless phone calls and zooms, but she also attended every floral, linen, band, lighting, and venue meeting (and even my last dress fitting), always knowledgeably answering my questions and suggesting new and creative ideas. She came up with the most amazing idea to line our venue's ceiling above the dance floor with twinkle lights and made it work with her connections to her lighting vendor. They brought a small system that was perfect for the dance floor, yet those not dancing didn't have to shout over the music. After the first meeting, it was like a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders. She brought an incredible sense of calm, professionalism, and organization to our wedding day, exactly what we needed. She also shared her industry knowledge for ideas, recommendations, and proper etiquette. She kept in contact with all our vendors before the wedding, days leading up to the wedding, and the day of the wedding. Raquel truly took the time to learn my husband and I, to fully understand what was important to US on our wedding day. Her preparation ensured all our vendors worked seamlessly together. Raquel managed to be everywhere at once, always a step ahead, always with a smile. She not only managed my vendors, but she also managed those guests that every bride and groom is worried about but obligated to invite (sorry not sorry). We worked with Raquel on our invitations, mirrored seating chart and mirrored welcome sign. Overall Platinum Affairs executed on all assigned tasks and everything came out nicely. However, during the process, we felt like we needed to follow up and stay on top of them. Raquel seemed overwhelmed and maybe a bit burnt out. The Meetings We met with Raquel a few times over the process to finalize details and make payments. She was not pushy and honored our requests. We wanted simple invites, and new the style of mirrors we wanted. Over the course of 6-8 months, each visit she forgot who we were and we had to reintroduce ourselves. It took away from the experience. The Service Our Invites were ordered about 8 months from our wedding date and arrived about 6 months from our wedding date. I was a bit annoyed because our original choice was out of print and we were told this one was in stock and affordable. After making our order and reviewing our proofs, Raquel and her team called to let us know we had to decide immediately on our proofs because the vendor was running low on the card stock and may not be able to print our order. Our mirror and seating chart were ordered at the same time. We had to provide the text, names and fonts about 10 days prior to the event. We actually followed up with them because no one contacted us. Once we were in touch, everything was finalized. One nit to pick, they do not alphabetize the seating charts and you do need to review your proofs. I noticed a few formatting errors when reviewing my own. Card box was just as we asked. No complaints there. Verdict Platinum Affairs was okay. Service was good, but not great. Prices were reasonable.

I have to start that working with 33 weeks pregnant woman is not easy. She was extremely patient and attentive to all the details I made changes a 100 times but she pulled it through. She even ordered and picked up a cake and baking goods for me for no additional fee. The event theme was bear and a baby blue color.
