UE is the entertainment providers you want for your wedding. After much deliberation, my fiancee and I went to UE for a meeting with the owner/manager Rocky who was smooth, knowledgable and real. We made the decision to book them right then and there. Rocky sells a good idea and runs a quality biz. Fast forward to our meeting with Johnny who's just and professional and friendly as Rocky. He helped us organize and reimagine our wedding order and musical experience. Don't expect to know alot about what you want or know in musical experiences until you let them help you. Here is the take away. I will say they are nice people. BUT, their communication falls completely flat. Our first meeting they led with the statement "we don't need to talk music I take care of that." Which I thought was a little weird but I took it as confidence. After discussing it with my FH we tried reaching out to ask questions about price and package items. No answer.....then we emailed, and received a response 4 days later with a promise of a call the next day. No call came, we tried calling and no answer. Again, followed by an email with an empty promise of a call. The call never came. Here we are approximately 3 weeks later and they are just now calling us back, we've already found an entertainment company that cared enough to communicate. read more

What a night! Rocky was an incredible MC. He got the party going from the start. The floor was packed with friends and family dancing all night. Guests complimented our song selections and the crew played the songs from our song request list. There was minor miscommunication that led to a series of hilarious mishaps that could have probably been avoided if we went over the names and pronunciations before the introductions. Rocky made every effort to deliver what we wanted. John (The DJ) was able to mix a song that I wanted to dance to and it was a hit on the dance floor! During my ceremony, Unique Entertainment did the music and listened to my playlist perfectly. The song that I chose actually ended a little earlier than I expected during the bridal party and family walked in, but Unique did a fantastic job of seamlessly looping the instrumental version of the song onto the end to elongate it without there being a weird pause for the last bridal party member to walk in to. They got everything right, and there were no hiccups during the ceremony. The reception was a PARTY. Johnny was our MC, and he was energetic and able to keep the mood of the party up. His commentary was witty, like for example someone fell on the dance floor and he just shouted out, "Oh man! We already have some breakdancing going on. It's going to be a fantastic night!" We really couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our crowd of family and friends. When I met with Rocky in the weeks before the wedding, we told him the type of music we like, what we don't like, what we want to hear the most of, and he truly listened. He called the day before the wedding just to go over timeline, tips and tricks for ensuring that we are on the dance floor as much as possible (which was SO helpful), and to ensure that everything was going well. I appreciated that because the day before the wedding you just want to make sure everything is in order and going to go as planned. 10/10 would highly recommend this company! read more

After going through some issues with our original DJ company we found Unique Entertainment months before the wedding. Rocky was easy to talk to in preping. Our DJ was Chris and MC Chris. My maid of honor had given a inappropriate 15 minute toast and I thought there was no recovering after that but Chris didn't give up and made it happen be 1 best weddings many of us ever been to. It was a wide ethnic variety of people (Puerto Rican, white, Jewish, Asian and much more) & he catered to everyone equally and no1 felt left out. Ages ranged from 8 months to 92 tears old and they all danced. My father whose to shy to dance in public danced after promising he wouldn't. There were so many people with injuries where they cannot or/& should not danced and yet they danced NON STOP thanks to the dynamic duo I'll called Chris square. Everyone said the DJ was pumping and our MC hysterical. I couldn't say enough thank yous and I recomend the Chris squares from Unique Entertainment to EVERYONE. read more

My husband and I got married on November 6th and we are still getting calls and texts from our guests saying that our DJ and MC were the best they have ever seen! I wish I could rate them more than just 5 stars! I had went to a bridal showcase after getting engaged and came across Rocky and his team at Unique Entertainment. They ran through a mock "wedding" reception and introduced themselves and I instantly felt a click with them. I set up an appointment to meet with them that night. We met with Rocky a few weeks after the showcase and my husband and I booked with them on the spot. We knew that we had to have them at our wedding! Throughout the whole planning process they were very prompt in returning our phone calls and emails, which is so important. My husband wanted to do a unique bride and groom entrance into our reception and Rocky made sure it happened. The night of my wedding they were Amazing! From the lighting, the zap shots, Rocky getting everyone on the dance floor, the music, the percussion, everything... it was perfect! Our dance floor was packed the entire night. It was the best night of our entire lives and Rocky and his team are a big reason why it was. We used unique for our wedding over the weekend and they did not disappoint. I've never had more fun at a wedding and not just saying that because it was mine. Rocky pretty much ran everything and made sure the night went off without a hitch. My wedding was this past June and people are still telling me how great my DJ was. Rocky and his crew keep everyone on the dance floor the entire night. We had an mix of Italian and american music and Rocky put it together perfectly. With Rocky you get a full service DJ/MC - He was professional, played everything we asked for and most important he was very entertaining!!!! I was married June 2016 so this review is long overdue . My husband and I were referred to Rocky and his staff by Leonard's Palazzo . We immediately felt comfortable with Rocky and were so happy to find out that he would be working the night of our wedding . Rocky was easy to work with and did a beautiful job coordinating the music for my ceremony , cocktail hour and reception . I recently received my full length wedding video and I was able to really see how hard Rocky and his staff worked to make my wedding memorable . It started raining towards the end of my outdoor ceremony and he stood at the end of the recession holding a huge umbrella for my guests and bridal party to stay dry . I remember during my reception my feet were absolutely aching and I had to take off my shoes . When it was time to put them on he actually bent down and helped me get my swollen feet back in my shoes . Believe me, that is certainly not part of his job description but he did it anyway . However , I would really like to highlight his great MC skills . My husband and I had about 175 people at our wedding and expected the dance floor to be packed . To our surprise and disappointment our guests ending up being pretty lame !!!! It was a struggle to motivate people to dance ! Believe me when I tell you Rocky and his staff did the absolute best with our crowd . In watching the wedding video we were able to see that Rocky never got discouraged and was upbeat ,positive and consistent until the very end . He played every type of music possible and was able to get my guests moving at times . In the end , he did the very best he could with a deadbeat crowd and really saved my wedding reception . I do believe had I had another MC my wedding reception would have been an empty dance floor the entire time . Rocky went around to my guests and encouraged them to dance . This past Saturday we had a Bat Mitzvah for our daughter and hired Unique Entertainment. It was the best decision we could have made. Rocky and his entire staff was amazing. From day 1 they had everything under total control. They not only provided the music but all aspects of the entertainment. The dancers, green screen, lounge furniture, air brush artist, picture montage. They did everything and did it well. They were professional, courteous and most importantly, more concerned with the party than the bottom line. Rocky was our MC and had people dancing all night. Rocky is the owner and one of the MCs at Unique Entertainment, and we were lucky enough to have him MC our wedding. We were recommended his services by some of our other wedding vendors. We had a small wedding (less than 100 people) at Crest Hollow Country Club and were on a limited budget. We ended up selecting him because he showed us a clip of his staff performing at a wedding showcase. We had gone to two different showcases, and seen a number of MCs, DJs and live musicians perform, and his demo was the only one had that the entire room up and dancing. We had the most basic DJ/MC package for our wedding but Rocky made the event feel like a party. He also provided the music for our wedding ceremony as well. He worked closely with our photographer and videographer, as well as the venue personnel, to make sure everything went smoothly and we were aware of what was required of us. He included songs we requested, no matter how odd or off the beaten path (I asked for Dick Dale and the Deltones' "Hava Nagila" to be played at one point), and made sure everyone was pumped at the right times and left alone when the crowd needed a break. He even went so far as to ensure my wife's aunt had a special cake cutting and birthday announcement, as her big day coincided with ours. His energy, honesty, willingness to work with our needs within our budget and ensure our wedding was the best party for everyone present really made our wedding special and incredibly fun. We highly recommend him if you need music, digital or even live, or a photo booth for your event or party. I had a lot of amazing vendors for my wedding, but I can honestly say Rocky at Unique Entertainment was truly the best of them all. It would be easy to write a review about how much fun my wedding was, how I didn't leave the dance floor once, how the music was awesome, how a month later everyone is still talking about what a great time they had, and so much more. This is all true, but its not the reason why Unique stands out to me. Rocky at Unique made me feel a way that no other vendor had - that he truly cared how my wedding went. This wasn't just another Friday or another job, he really was invested in the fact that this wedding was such a crucial moment in my life and he wanted to make it amazing. During our very first meeting, Rocky talked to my husband and I for over an hour, listened to us, advised us, and made us feel great. Even more amazing was that during the second meeting (even after we signed out contract with him) he continued to make us feel the exact same way.
