This food truck is run by the sweetest husband-and-wife team, and their warmth alone makes you want to support them -- but the FOOD seals the deal. I mentioned I'd never had oxtail before, and the husband had his wife give me a sample. Holy smokes. One bite and I was sold. Ended up ordering the oxtail meal with rice, collard greens with ham, and black-eyed peas. Every single thing was absolutely delicious. And the sweet potato cornbread? Unreal. The guy running the truck is super sweet and nice and he's usually there Mon-Sat. During the week days I see him open until around 6 on my way home but I'm not sure of the Saturday hours. He's located right off the veterans expressway at the county line road exit. He's about a mile off the expressway. Depending on which direction you are heading on the expressway, when you get off, go the direction towards US19. So if your heading northbound on the expressway and get off the exit you would go left, southbound go right. You will pass a cat resort on your right and he's near there on the left side of the road. I would definitely recommend stopping if your in the area!! Food is absolutely delicious and worth the stop. A+++
