Only had the pleasure of trying this place one time while I was in Spring Hill, and I was not disappointed. I had a slab of St Louis ribs strait off the smoker, I literally had to stop myself from eating all of them in one setting. I also tried a smoked fish dip which was just as good. After reading so many great reviews on our vacation, I drove a couple of towns over to give it a try. It has the food truck set up, which was okay with me since some of the tastiest food I've had has been from food trucks. I ordered my husband the rib plate, which came with 2 sides for $12. You really can't beat the price and the food smelled so good. I don't eat ribs but the smoky smell had me tempted. I ordered the blue crabs, which are sold by the dozen for $24. There were several people ordering the crabs so I knew then that they would have some decent weight to them or I wouldn't have seen so many customers during my short visit. Stopped by this place by chance have been looking for some good barbecue since I moved to springhill. I ordered the pulled pork sandwiches and they did not disappoint. It was moist and full of flavor and a very generous serving. Also ordered a pound of the prime rib unfortunately for us we found it to be dry and not very flavorful. But will give it another shot will definitely go back they have gumbo and a selection of seafood. We will be going back to try a lot of the other items on their menu. $9.95 for 5 shrimp and a handful of fries? It was good so I'm giving 3 stars, but come on man. My wife had jambalaya and we shared 6 wings. It all tasted good. But nearly $31? And after I ordered he said "We are discouraging people from eating here due to the virus". Man, that's why I drove to Hernando County on a Saturday. We were outside. No one was anywhere near us. Shrimp dinners only have six shrimp and a small serving of french fries for $9.95. I also got the pork dinner with fries and baked beans. The pork was a good size portion and tasted okay, but the pork at Sonny's is much better and costs less. The beans were okay but only a tablespoon in size, and again Sonny's is much better. I love the fresh tartar sauce Willy makes it is outstanding. When the grouper is in stock because it is caught fresh, I promise there is nothing better on this menu other then friend grouper bites with fries with seasoning ( if you don't like seasoning atleast ask for it on the side and give it a try ) ! Ordered a plain steak sandwich to go and when I got home to eat sandwich, there was hardly any meat on bread and the bread was very soggy. The meat didn't have much of a taste and it was very thinly sliced and very small pieces. After eating most of the sandwich I was nauseous and I threw up. I'll never go back there again.
