Meat was stated to be chopped on the menu, Came as a watery pulled pork with a peculiar smell. Now eight hours later no ill effects thank God. When the asked again at the register how the meal was I repeated my concerns. "You should have asked for something else. " was the reply. Wasn't once was enough? Wife happy. Small place and it was slightly busy. The first thing I found out was that they didn't have the beef ribs...or any ribs available...at a BBQ joint??!!??!!??!! Seriously? On a Saturday afternoon. So I pivoted to a sandwich and was told the didn't have buns and it had the be served on garlic bread. Um...ok... fortunately the pork and brisket was good, as were the fried okra. This Friday, 5/14/21, I visited alone, so he begged me to bring home the pulled pork sandwich with sweet sauce and beans. We both know the food is excellent, as is the staff. When I got him, he was waiting in the driveway fir me - salivating. We live 75 min. North of this food truck, so he did have to heat up the sandwich and beans. But just a little! We were greeted by very nice people. What you do is you look at the menus on the wall or they have them next to the register where you can open them and look. You order there at the counter, there's free refills on the iced tea or if you wanted a soda or water or something different, you buy those in the bottles or cans. After we placed our order, we were seated in an empty dining room, but that's because it was very early when we got there. The place looked very clean and there was a woman working wiping tables down and making sure everything was clean and every table had salt, pepper and napkins. We were seated in a corner booth and our food came out very quickly. We were maybe seated five minutes. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and my Husband ordered the mac & cheese Brisket roll up. His came with french fries as well. The mac & cheese brisket rollup was very delicious. The french fries were cooked to a crispy golden color just the right shade. However, my quesadilla was a bit dry. I think if a thin slice of cheese were added to it, and I know this is a barbecue place, but a thin slice of cheese would have held the chunks of chicken onto the quesadilla. As it was, I had to hold it with both hands so that the meat wouldn't spill out everywhere. It was very good and I was able to bring a couple home for my lunch tomorrow. You get a pretty good amount of food for the price that you pay. And as I said before, you can get as many refills of tea as you want, there's no limit. Also, when you enter, there's a big showcase of all kinds of little knickknacks for sale. They have artwork on their walls that are for sale and some of them are quite beautiful. Another interesting thing is that in October they're going to have an Australian dance team with very sexy men dancing on stage. They have an outside seating area and the stage is located outback as well. Ladies, if you'd like to see muscular men who are well sculpted and can gyrate you might want to attend that lol. They also have live music. After the dancing hotties, they have midget wrestling that is scheduled and I've posted pictures of both of those with the dates. I apologize if the picture came out upside down. I don't know how that happened. But they have something going on all the time. I do recommend them if you haven't been I would definitely give them a chance. It's a great barbecue place. The food is good. The employees are great and they treat you like they've known you forever. I recommend them and we will probably go back. I think it would be very interesting to see the dancers as well as the midget wrestling. So come on out give this place a try, great food great fun and great people.
