I rarely leave negative reviews but after months of being in a lockdown during which I supported this bar on multiple occasions by ordering takeout, I was excited to return. We arrived punctually and we're seated after a few minutes. The high table was quite uncomfortable as we were both wearing dresses. I hadn't even sat down when the waiter asked to take our order and it just went from bad to worse. We were told there's a QR code and we would need to take a picture and order online, again disappointing but we went with it. After 30 minutes and one drink down we were approached to say did we want to order food. The order for food didn't go through properly and so we were offered the option to get it in a take out bag. After ordering a third round of drinks we were approached 3 to 4 times by differed staff to notify us that our table would be needed. At 10 minutes to the hour we were abruptly given plastic cups and told to leave. It was the rudest experience and not enjoyable at all. After months of eating at home why would anyone want to pay to order their food on an app - spend their money and be under such time pressure. At two minutes to the hour we told him we were getting up but we were still within our hour and the waiter said we'll need to get our next customer seated on the dot.
Won't be returning - food is mediocre at best and I'd rather not have to deal with such rudeness. I'm all about supporting local businesses but what are they gaining in the long term? read more
